"Demon?" Cealdia said, confused. The little dragon certainly did not look like any demon she had seen before. And how had the woman known she thought she owned the creature? She watched curiously as the woman and her demon-dragon minion left the room; this was certainly an interesting place.

Cealdia gratefully took her drink, immediately taking a sip. Though she had the urge to gulp it down quickly, she forced herself to drink it slowly, wanting to be able to enjoy it. At the mention of food her stomach growled of its own accord, reminding her that she'd had very little to eat that day. She knew it was bad to drink on an empty stomach, but that rarely stopped her from doing it.

Setting her drink down, Cealdia reached into her pants pocket and pulled out a small coin purse. She untied the top and looked inside, frowning at how little was inside, though she had not expected more. Mentally she subtracted how much the drink would cost, before returning the purse to its place in her pocket. She spoke to the drow, the tone of her voice showing that she did not expect much. "Would you happen to have anything that only costs 5 copper?"

"No, daemon. Daemons are a materialized form of a soul. Silver just happens to be the form of mine. Does that make sense?" Saya said, striding back in. She was carrying a scroll and a quill with her as she sat at the bar. Spreading the scroll out ofn the counter, Saya dipped her quill in her ink bottle, and started to write again, waiting for her tea.

"I see," Cealdia said in response to the explanation on daemons. She did not fully understand how one went about acquiring a materialized version of their soul, but decided not to pursue it for the moment. Instead she went back to sipping her drink.

Hanako sighed as she closed the third book in her stack. She then got up and streched. "Damn books down have what i want to know." She mumbled as she looked around the bar, hopeing to see some familiar faces.

Ten or fifteen minutes later Beatirx re-emerged from the kitchen with a platter carrying a pot of green tea, a cup with pink cherry bloosoms painted on and a meal consisting of a peice of nameless meat and cut up potatoes with various spices on it. She placed the platter on the counter and handed each of them their items.

"Nice to see you this lovely day Saya. If it kills you, I apologize Miss....", Beatrix waited for a name from the dragon girl.

"A lovely day would be me finding the spell to open that stupid door down in the celler" Hanako said as she came up to the bar.

"Cealdia," she responded as she happily took the food. She had eaten things that looked far less appetizing before. "Thank you very much. May I ask your name as well?"

"My name is Mice'pellan Shalee", she said with a 'I know you can't repeat that easily' smile, "But most people just call me Beatrix." The drow pushed her glasses back up on her nose looking over at Hanako who had joined them.

"Have you figured anything out about the door or is it still a complete mystery to you?" She scratched the side of her face briefly.

"Nope. Nothing. None of the books i've read so far have nothing on that door. But i do know that the ancient writing is familiar to me. i just can't find my translation book. My room is completely trashed right now from all the research i've been doing." She said as she went behind the bar and made herself a glass of wine.
