The One Night Stand is a place of legends, frequented by countless miscreants of Gaia; regardless the somewhat ancient and out of date appearance the complex is known for. In a less populated part of town by the docks, a line of closed businesses decorate either side of the street, with the quaint little bar seated right smack in the middle. From the outside, there’s little to the One Night Stand that sticks out, minus the small hanging sign with the name. A short walk from crumbling sidewalk to the door gives you a view of the entrance, which is decorated in archaic symbols most wouldn’t be able to decipher – but resonate a somewhat dark energy. As though offering warning to anyone who has strayed off the beaten path, that this bar isn’t your normal dive.
However, upon opening the strange feeling door, the interior was like any other establishment, containing a simple bar counter in the back with the top a polished cedar. The floor was wooden paneled and as clean as could be, most times, while tables and chairs crowded the tavern’s floor. An oft lit fireplace sat in one corner of the room; with the coming of winter, it was almost a necessity to heat such an old looking building. To the right of the bar, a door leads to a strangely modern kitchen. To the left, a staircase leads up towards a long hallway, with either side feeding into a series of doors leading to rooms and bathrooms. Littered among some of the wooden walls, some of the doors, and in a few spots, the floors, were the same strange symbols that marked the front door.
The service here is terrible and the people are rough, unpolished, and often easily riled – but what more could you expect from a place called The One Night Stand?

Location Notes – For those adventurous types, under a rug in the entrance foyer, there’s a cellar style door. Open it and there is a series of steps leading down into a network of tunnels that branch out through the city. While many come up as dead ends, a chosen few may take you just where you’re looking to go…
The city itself is similar to Boston, meaning it’s on the waterfront of the Atlantic (or whatever the Gaia equivalent would be). Think accordingly for weather, being coastal northeastern cities tend to get pretty cold in the winter, but are relatively pleasant in the summer. If your human character is in a bikini in December, people might take it upon themselves to try and rescue them from the cold… Or rape them in an alley? Anyway, point being, seasons are based off the northern hemisphere and should be followed in that rotation.
