]Vunderbar, love.]
Faith and Begorrah! Their foray into the winds had turned into a climactic series of battles devolving into bedlam. Pesha had the strength in her arm to attach Roy to the rigging where they hung from, careful that they were not going to strike any trees as they hung there. However, as she dislodged herself from Roy and the rope, danger had a habit gathering around the crew of the Pei. No sooner had she gripped the rope but they were under fire once more.
The beast below the ship sent his special lance came hurling towards the hanging crew, specifically against Roy. She raised her saber in an attempt to block it, but before she had a chance, a bellow nearly shook the core of her spine.
"NOOOOOooOOOOOOT HUUUUUUURT ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOY"
Oh bloody hell.
In a given life-time, there are a series of tiny surprises that more often than not seem insignificant in the course of their days.
This honestly wasn't one of those times.
Under given circumstances, one could not have known that such a situation such as this would arise, but a ship playing host to a parasitical spirit could unwisely have access to a power core that fueled a large sky-ship galleon.
Several hundred tendrils burst from the hull of the Cleric Pei, like the infinite tentacles of a tree's roots, tangled and entwined upon one another, this veritable rat-king reached as far as the trees, numbering dozens to an angle.
"Jesus Christ!" Pesha cried in shock, as the iridiscent vines pushed past her and Roy without harm. The coming light-saber possessed little chance against this sudden evolution, and was smacked listlessly to the side [although singing one of the tentacles in the process], it would be tossed amidst the trees.
Seconds later, Pesha fell prey to Raize's force grab, yanking her from the skies and towards the Earth.
As quick as Raize could have been, the time it took for Pesha to snap back to Earth was inevitably too long, and the long stands of energy slung forth like the tentacles of a squid, wrapping around Pesha's back softly, shielding the Force energy from tearing her in half, and cradling her like a baby from a bough.
Because this took a great degree of energy away from powering the ship, the Pei seemed to lower slightly, pulling downward and striking aside more trees, however, the hull seemed unpunished in the ensuing conflict.
