It was a bit of a surprise when the woman realized just what it was he was after. Judging by such a reaction it could be said that she wasn’t being influenced by such a being. He did feel a little insulted however when Pesha remarked on such realizations. Though his guard became lax when the weapon pointed at him was put away and his barriers fell accordingly. Slowly he made his way towards the captain of the ship watching her reactions while she talked about the mummy. He found her personal opinion of the spirit quite amusing since most others vexed by a harmless spirit felt the same. He got within five full paces of Pesha when the sounds of mumbling could be heard. A brow crept upwards at the words she spoke and he couldn’t help but remark.
“Our ship, what interest do you have in our ship? I would remark on the oddity that is the connection you managed to draw between your mummy and our ship, but such things require it not. I could introduce you to the craftsman of our ship. Or I should better say, Craftswoman.” Alex said, a small chuckle mixed in with his words.

“He went alone!? And why haven’t you turned on any lights yet Ev? Unlike you, I can’t see well in the dark!” A woman’s voice rang in the darkened corridor of the inner levels of the ship, her frustrations clearly being vented out onto the beastly man. She swore under her breath as one of her feet collided with the edge of the bed on her path towards the light switch. Flipping the switch the magically endowed bulbs that filled the room sprung to life.
“Why does he insist on doing everything alone?” The woman asked in a huff. The voice belonged to a beautiful woman with long golden hair that currently framed her face down to her shoulders. She had two bright emerald eyes that shone brilliantly in the magical light. She stood at about five and a half feet, medium bust, with white skin only darkened a shade or two from the light of the sun. Scratching one of her slender legs with the opposite foot the woman known as Shahrivar Jamila gave Everard a glare.
“You know how he is.” Everard said quietly as he leaned upon the framework of the door. The room was fairly roomy with a bed against the far wall and a bed stand and lamp, all furniture was bolted to the wooden floor to prevent it from sliding during travel. There was a small closet with a dresser on the inside for any sort of clothing. Aside from those basics was a flat workbench that was littered with various machine parts and bolts. There were mechanical arms tied to the ceiling and various tools hung from hooks that lined the walls. It was truly a mechanics room, but Everard wasn’t interested in the room more as the woman standing in front of him.
“You have five seconds to stop staring at me and leave my room before I throw you from the ship.” She said coldly.
“If you wouldn’t sleep in something like that then I wouldn’t stare.” Ev said defensively as he left the room with his hands casually placed in his pocket. He ducked and dashed down the hall as a wrench was thrown at the back of his head, missing by an inch.
“Yeah, you run away with your tail tucked because that’s the last time I’m gonna miss!” Jamila shouted after him before entering back into her room. She changed out of the plain white t-shirt that was large enough to be a short dress into her casual attire for the day. She wore lose brown leather pants with many pockets and a tool belt; straps were thrown over her shoulder to keep the pants from falling to the ground. She also wore a pair of blue denim shorts below the work pants and a plain white shirt that hugged her torso, a pocket just above her right breast to hold a pen. She covered her feet with black worn steel-toe leather boots with padding lining the inside and socks that rose up to just below her knees to prevent damaging her feet or legs. Wrapping her hair up in a red bandanna to hide her long hair she stepped out into the hall. From first glance she appeared as a male since she bound herself to make her work on machines all that much easier. She made her way up towards the deck of the ship so she could watch for any trouble that Alex may have gotten into.
