Courage is not the towering oak that sees storms come and go...

She shook her head at the male, not knowing what had happened at the Steele since she had not been here. She frowned suddenly, looking at terra with slightly fearful eyes. "Wait... i just thought of something... If Cecil and Elonia call you grandma... I should prolly call you grandma too.. But it just feels so.. bleh." She shuddered slightly, not liking how the word had rolled off her tongue.

It is the fragile blossom that opens in the snow.
Avinda did her utmost not to listen in on the conversation as Digi carried the girl up to the second floor, the veiled woman following closely and kneeling down at Naydeen's side as the mage went back down to get help. Tentatively removing the layer of cloth obscuring her face, the older woman tightly pursed her lips before reaching out and placing a hand on the girl's forhead.

"Weaver you must wake up... I don't know the name of your demons and God will not do all the work for you. Wake up..." A red glow began to form under Avinda's hand, the woman watching closely as she urged the hot energy into the fevered girl. The technique had sustained her thus far, but it was still unpleasant; her thin face began to twist in pain, a high, agonized whine clawing its way up her throat. Her eyes fluttered open, but they were heavily glazed and sightless from poison, closing again almost immediatly and without any further hints or clues as to how to fix what was wrong.

Avinda stopped her rudimentary treatment, visibly distraught as she sat back on her heels and waited. Perhaps a prayer would help; at this point anything would be something.
Kiro shook his head. He didn't have the ability to just let the past be the past. Why would he when he could have made things better. When he could have saved them all this trouble. She was gone, there was no reason to argue anymore. Kiro's body stopped trembling, his mind was free to go into silence once more. Even with all said and done, Kiro wasn't the same man he once was. Everything that had happened changed him. Wisdom took the place of courage. Kiro was no longer the hero of any story. Rather, he was simply a figure shadowed in the background. Marching slowly to the forest, Kiro found rest beneath a tree. At either side of him, a shadow wolf sat. They huffed at him both with antagonizing glances, but Kiro didn't acknowledge them.

"Vaane will call soon. Then I shall go. You two will stay here and guard this place while I am away." Kiro's words were straight forward. The right pup growled under its breath, disliking the thought of being far from Kiro, but the noise simmered as Kiro placed a hand on it's head. "You two have become my best friends. I only ask you because I know that with you here, nothing will ever happen to my family.... If I wasn't here to stop it." Kiro choked on the words. "Don't worry about the one they call Ronin. I will kill him in due time. Just protect Echo, Elonia, and Digi. Cecil's body will be coming with me." The wolves turned to Kiro and bowed there heads in understanding, before laying at his sides.
Misaki took a deep breath, "Wish me luck," she giggled and began walking forward, unsure of what would happen next, the loud crashing sound of destruction filled her ears. She stepped down and gasped being almost blinded by the beauty and serenity surrounding the place she had destroyed in her arrival. Misaki knew what she had been sent to do, but how to complete the task. . .peering out past a few trees she noticed that finding this demon man would be much easier than she had expected.

Three stunning creatures stood before her, a demon man with a glowing red eye who was accompanied by two large black wolves. "You must be Kiro," Misaki said with a smirk, "I have been sent by Lord Vaane Skryr the Arcatype, my master to deliver a message unto you." Misaki froze for a moment, for she had never seen a man with such captivating looks. "Lord Skryr seeks your presence Kiro Hoto, and he inquires that you bring the body of your eldest child, Cecil." Misaki bowed her head down, nervous for the response of the Shadow Mancers reaction.
The sound of the crash in the forest startled the wolves at either side of Kiro. Both were on there feet growling at the close explosion. A petite female passed through the brush to his front. Kiro's memory flashed to his experience inside the Temple of the Arcatype. At the right hand of Vaane was this woman. Kiro's brow inclined as she spoke of her intentions. The wolves growls died and Kiro gathered himself to his feet. "Well then ma'am. Allow me time to explain myself to the family, and gather Cecil. Till then you are welcome to make yourself at home, it shouldnt' take me to long. My wolves shall accompany you. Just for public relations. Can't have my escort getting harmed in this place." Kiro gave her a kind smile, then turned away. The two wolves moved to her flank, stoicly taking guard.

Striding at a decent pace, Kiro moved back to the house. He would find Echo and explain to her how things would turn out. Following so, Kiro would then move to Cecil and retrieve the body. Both of the intentions were met in the same room. His whole family sat in wait around Cecil's body. This would all be an interesting deal to explain.
Elonia growled as Kiro neared, her eyes snapping open to glare at him. She bared her teeth at him, her growl becoming more threatening. But she was still when her mother poked her side.

"Thats enough...let him." Echo murmured softly, and yawned. She looked at Kiro, and smiled. "Be careful." was all she said, as she got comfy and sighing, closed her eyes.
Terra looked at Digi, then just shrugged. "I don't care what you call me by, as long as its not insulting you can call me Terra-perra for all I care." She then frowned, "And not madam president..." huffing, she crossed her arms across her chest. "That always got on my nerves."

She glanced at Ronin, "Just call me whatever you want..as for meeting this other, I will shortly. I have injured one upstairs. Make yourself at home Ronin." Then she left him, heading up the steps and into the room. "So Avinda...lets see what we can do....though you must tell me all you can." Terra said as she stepped into the room, pulling back a sleeve of her kimono as she made her way towards the side of the bed. She outstretched her hand, and let it hover over the injured one. Her aura reached out, enveloping the injured one, testing and probing at where the problem lay.

Her voice though touched Kiro's ear in a warning tone. "No need to kill Ronin, touch him and you will start something that I will be forced to finish. Ronin is in my home, thus under my rules and my ever watching eye.
He sat down seemingly at random and removed a small gem-like object from his pocket.
"Alright Jos. Make yourself presentable. It's time to introduce you around."
From the gem sprouted what appeared to be a young girl. The visual was so real that until she flickered one would have trouble telling her apart from a real girl. Her eyes were the same color as Ronin's, as was her hair. She was fair skinned and dressed in a summer dress embossed with daisies. She was the picture of non-threatening.

"Finally! Ive had no one to talk to but you for ages!" Her voice was that of a pesky little sister. She both appeared and sounded between ten and twelve years old. "Perhaps now I'll get to have some intelligent conversation." she scolded Ronin.

"Oh just wait 'till they get your mom back online! I bet after the weepy reunion crap is over she will dress you down some. Arrogant welp!" he laughed. They very much appeared to be a brother and sister pair.

"Jerk!" she stuck out her tongue.

"You got it boss lady!" Now she was just being a pain, but hey. It's Digi. She blinked as the 'girl' flickered into being, finally paying attention to the male. "Wait.. you said mother? As in KAI?" Her head tilted, blinking in confusion.

It is the fragile blossom that opens in the snow.
"All I know..." Avinda started, having dropped on her knees in a low bow at Terra's appearance, only to straighten back up and remain on the floor so she could speak properly "Is that she said the mark connected to her to the syndicate she used to be a part of, but that it was damaged and no longer worked. When she fell ill, it was sudden and we thought it was divine until my dreams showed me this place." She cut herself off there, it was in the nature of her Clan's god to strike down sins and evil with fever, but it was likewise his way to send visions of tasks to be fulfilled. That was part of the reason why Avinda had made the journey alone; conflict over which act was truly divine.

Terra's observations would take her further than Digi's. The source of the fever was still obviously the writhing black tattoo on the woman's neck, but Terra would be able to see how the moving parts were distinctly from the immobile wheel in the centre. The mark was the physical manifestation of a mind-web, clearly of high calibur magic, but the power invading the woman's body wasn't coming from it specifically, and the actual illness seemed to be a reaction to something metaphysical.

"She doesn't speak anymore, not even the names she used to call out. I don't know how to help her..." Naydeen's eyes were twitching fiercly in her fever-dream, her spirit in obvious, life-threatening distress as that invasive presence was using the mark as an anchor.
Kiro peered down at his daughter, his face uncaring of her opinion of this situation. She would learn that the world wasn't about her sometime. His ears picked up Echo's chillingly beautiful voice, and he sighed. "I am always careful." He passed her and took Cecil into his arms. Kiro strode out of the room, turning to peer over his shoulder at Echo and Elonia once more. "I love you guys. I will make sure Cecil gets back at all cost." He smiled wide, then turned away from the family and walked through the corridor.

Kiro's mind was invaded by Terra, a smear of anger on his face. He returned the favor sending a wave of music in her head. "Terra you have been there from the start. I think of you as a parent, but you will stay out of my business. I promised him I would kill him, I don't go back on my promises. He will live fine until I am ready. Your cove has nothing to do with it. I will kill him away from you. Repercussions are worth it, no man threatens my family."
-= He stood outside the Cove, the wind tossing at gentle wisps of hair . . . he needed something to do . . . he needed his big break. =-
The girl looked over at Digi. "Uh huh! You remember her?"

He rolled his eyes."Here we go..."

She snorted, a smile crossing her lips. "Of course I remember! That AI pulled a nasty trick on me! Everything turned out awesome, but it was still mean." Digi giggled a bit, then looked to the male. "You hungry? I can whip you up something real fast if ya want."

It is the fragile blossom that opens in the snow.
"Oooh please tell me more about her! Im soooooo curious!" Her eyes seemed to actually get bigger and cuter.

"Jos...you are such a girl." he shook his head and pondered Digi's offer. His people sufficed off of mainly water and the occasional bit of meat. It occured to him that in his travels he had seen people eating and drinking things that were warm. This was an enigma to him. His people were tundra dwellers. They were supremely built for the cold.
"Well Father did say to try new things...will it be warm?"
