Welcome to Gaia! ::

Iron Ronin
Sitting as he was instructed he looked about restlessly. However when the female reappeared, no longer in the guise of a wolf he was momentarily taken aback.
'Forgive me for saying so miss but i was unprepared for how good looking you are. It seems the females that the Old One surrounded himself with shared that quality and stole it from the rest of the world. Truth be told Ive felt like im in some divine pantheon ever since i walked in here."
This was true enough in fact. The aura this place gave off was potent enough to make his head spin a little. It was almost like a strong drug, in its seductive and strong nature. He had been unprepared for much of this mission it seemed.

"Your vitals do the funniest things around females. But right now it's like they are doing a jig or something. The radiance of this place must be messing with your life systems."

"Yeah or something. Keep an eye out would ya? I dont wanna get snuck up on." he subvocalized so that only the receiver could hear.

Wolf ears twitched slightly, and her tail swayed as she moved. She just looked at him oddly, as she took a seat on a bar stool beside him. Her tail moved to drape across her lap, and one long leg crossed over the other. "Right...." She said simply, "So...why are you here?" She asked, getting to the point.

"Of course." Digi stood, cradling her mom close and strapping her sword onto her side as she walked inside the cottage. Once there, she cast a glare at the male, before walking to her sister and holding out Echo. "There is one that need's my assistance. Would you mind taking care of the little one?" She did not say that she was their mother. That could be dangerous with this male. Digi waited for her sister to answer before handing Echo over.

It is the fragile blossom that opens in the snow.
When Digi held out the little girl, Ronin's eyes went from sapphire blue to opaque white for a short time. On the outside that was the only change but on the inside his vision shifted and the physical realm vanished, to be replaced with a dark realm were people were their true selves. The energy inside them was shaped by their deeds and characters and thus these avatars were the truest test of character.
Looking at the young girl he saw a grown woman that seemed to be trapped yet was still smiling. In Digi he saw a woman in chains with tears of blood streaking down her face and scars over her body. In her sister however, he saw her much as she was, save her face was a vicious mask with fangs and glowing red eyes. These revelations disturbed him slightly but gave him a better idea of whom he was dealing with.
Suddenly his eyes reverted and he inclined his head to Digi and the young girl. He knew for certain whom each was now. The young girl was the reincarnation of the other two women's mother. That made her Lady Echo. The one holding her was the water witch the the Old One had favored so much. The other one however, must be Kiro's shadow as it were. His trained assassin. The fallen of his kin so to speak. His estimation of her lethality went up considerably. He was happy to note that the intel Jos had provided had been spot on as usual.
"Lady Echo." He acknowledged her as was polite to the Lady of the ...house? Then turned his attention back to his hostess.
"Firstly my name is Ronin. My chosen name anyway. I am heir to the current Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei clan. Whom may i ask am i addressing?"
Elonia moved, taking Echo into her arms and glanced at Ronin, giving the male a warning growl. He was not to try anything to the little girl. Cradling the sleeping girl, Elonia sighed softly, nuzzling her face into Echo's hair. "There are two outside, one is seemingly injured." Elonia explained to Digi, casting her sister a glance. "Hopefully you have some healing abilities. If not mother can do it. Or I guess Terra can be called."

Her attention then went back to Ronin, "Elonia, Echo's daughter and protector of this place." She said, not even mentioning the fact she was Echo and Kiro's daughter. She didn't really ever associate herself with Kiro. "So what brings you to the cove then? After kicking us out of Steele."

She rolled her eyes at her sister, making a 'duh' face. "Hello? Head healer of the Steele? I think I know a thing or two about healing and medicine thank you very much. Now if you're done insulting my pride..." She inclined her head to her sister, brushing past the male without a second glance. Possibilities ran through her mind as to what might be wrong with the injured one, but she pushed them aside. The first step would be getting to the injured one. Only then would she assess the extent of the injuries. She slipped outside quietly, not wanting to wake her mother, before heading off in the direction she assumed the injured one would be coming from.

The sound of a thick boom errupted from the forest. A twenty foot by twenty foot crater smoldered, destroying part of the forest. In the middle of the crater was Kiro. He was huddled over a body. In his hands was his son. Cecil's body was tattered with bruises and cuts. Kiro's eyes were thick with dried tears. His body was convulsing, the tremors visible from far away. Slowly, Kiro brought Cecil up, cradling him as he stood. His stride was slow, a slight limp in his step. As he walked through the thicket of forestry, a trail of blood followed behind him.

Huff.....huff..huff... Kiro's breathing was loud and uneven. His face was a masque of red. Blood trickled down his chin dropping with every step. As he parted through the final brush into the clearing, he stumbled slightly, but kept his footing and hold on Cecil. Pressing his path faster, he brought Cecil to the doorstep. He reclined him upon the side of the house, falling to his knees. "Why would you....." His breathing was to heavy to continue. Determined, Kiro stood again, backing away from his son. He trotted painfully back towards the forest, his wolves limping out of the darkness both bloody messes. Kiro didn't make it to the forest before he was face first in the grass. His eyes slid shut and all went dark. The two wolves drudged there way to him, cuddling on either side up against Kiro's limp body. They both closed there eyes as well.

Digi froze, turning her head toward the cottage again. She was torn between running back and helping the one at the entrance. Tears formed streaks on her cheeks as she turned, resuming her course. There were only four people that she could feel. Echo, the male, her sister, and Kiro. She reached out, brushing her mind against Kiro's, a gentle caress. 'Daddy... i'll be back as soon as possible... I will be able to heal you.. Cecil.. he's beyond my reach daddy. I'm sorry...'

There was no motion nor response to Digi's inquisition.

"Not again..." 'Sis! Dad and Cecil aren't responding. Cecil is out of my reach with his wounds, and I can't get back in time to get to dad. He's slipping and unresponsive. I know you hate him but please! I'm begging you.. help them!' Digi bit her lower lip till the copper tang of blood reached her tongue. She was at the entrance now, the newcomer in sigh. She pulled her hand away from her sword, holding them in sight of the female while slowly approaching. "I'm here to help. Will you allow me to heal the one you carry?" 'I will hunt you in death if you leave again dad. Hold on damn you.'

It was Terra who came, just appearing from the air, the sound of bells ringing in the air upon her arrival. The cove seemed to suddenly become alive, the trees swayed as a breeze danced through the cove, and a fish lept in the lakes water.

Her silver hair danced with her movements, and gold eyes studied her surroundings. She snapped shut the small fan she held, and tucked it into a secret pocket that was in the sleeve of her deep red kimono. Slowly she walked up the porch steps, and knelt down in front of Kiro, a troubled look on her delicate face and a frown gracing her glossed lips. "Come on Kiro..." she whispered, her very words vibrating with a power. Slowly she reached out a hand, and gently caressed his cheek. Energy coursed through her being, to Kiro, and moving through the ground to surround Cecil as well. "You have work to do still..." Her voice echoed.

Sighing softly, she leaned forward and pressed her forehead to Kiro's. Her other hand came up to rest on his other cheek, like how a mother would comfort her child. She was attempting to heal him, drawing energy from the shadows and the earth. From her own wolves that inhabited the cove and from Elonia who sat inside. Course the girl would be pissed, but Elonia had to choice in the matter.

Her mind reached out to Digi's, Bring them here, I will open a room upstairs, seems a temperary infurmary will be needed. She said, a humorous tone in her voice, her attempt to sooth Digi's worry.

'Thank you Terra.. They were to far for me to return and heal them. I'l be there as soon as these two acknowledge that I'm here to help them. Take whatever energy you need from me, if it helps in bringing them back.' She smiled softly, the inner conversation turning her normally pale green eyes a forest green. The darker it got, the more distress she felt, though few know of this fact. "I won't hurt you. I only want to help you both."

(( infirmary ))
Kiro's eyes rolled opened as he coughed out a thick clot of blood. Suddenly, he was on his feet at his knees. His feral side was prevailing at the time, his left eye opened wide, the iris blood red and pupil a cat like slit. His skin blackened instantly, and his hair shifted white. Kiro's body rolled with tremors. He shook violently, his head snapping from Terra to Cecil. A low rumble arose from his throat as he began to back away for a second before his pupil regained it's circular normality. Kiro's skin regained it's palor and his hair turned purple once more. A loud huff of air inhailing and exhailing. "Terra....You....Came?" Kiro collapsed to the ground.

The wolves stirred up, moving with there slow limp to Kiro's side. He was still injured at a maximum level, and his instincts had taken over deleting his pain threshold. They stood on his sides, both panting.

Cecil didn't stir, his eyes rolled open, but they were lifeless. There was nothing there. Just an empty body.
She simply nodded, having backed up before blood got on her. She stood, moved to Cecil and knelt in front of him. Her hand reached out, cupping his chin and forced him to look at her. "Don't move to much Kiro.." She sighed, glancing at him. "You need to heal...The lake has healing properties no matter your race. It adapts to your needs, go take a quick dip."

Her focus went back onto Cecil, "His soul is gone...." Her eyes narrowed, her gold eyes taking on a angry glow.

'What's going on Terra? How are they doing?' She was barely paying attention to the other two in front of her, but it did not show on her face. She had stopped trying to convince the pair in front of her, and was now waiting upon them.

It is the fragile blossom that opens in the snow. (Would love to stay, but gotta go to bed.. night.))
Kiro's mouth opened, and he spit out the words. "His soul is...locked." Kiro said. Proding himself for the last amount of strength he could manifest, Kiro stood. Staring at Terra's back he spoke. "Cecil...He made a brash move." The wolves moved to Kiro's side, brushing themselves against him to lend support as they moved towards the lake. "He shouldn't have tried to see Vaane. He wasn't ready... " The three were out of reach now, they all slowly entered the lake. Kiro curled into a ball, his mind racing with the past. Vaane was awake, Cecil had seen to that. Kiro's head swarmed at the thought of Vaane's power. This was the mage that no man had ever been able to comprehend.
