Welcome to Gaia! ::

((Freaking sweet!))

Echo nodded, and leaned down nuzzling her face into Elonia's fur, taking comfort in the warmth the wolf provided.

Elonia glanced back at her mother, then sighed heavily and waited to get going.
Kiro smiled wide to his son, his hands outstretching. He stepped back, head bowing down and letting Cecil take the stage.

Cecil stepped forth to the center of the group. His hands went limp at his side, and his back arked forwards. The ground beneath all of them, save Kiro and his wolves, began to darken, till it was a pool of black liquid. They would all sink into the liquid, yet not be wet in any way. Cecil arrived on the shadow plane first, each of them appearing afterwards. They stood in a deep black clearing, purple flames lining the outside of a cobble stone shrine. Cecil turned to his family smiling. "Welcome to the Altar of Shadow. Safest location inside the Shadow World." Cecil thought about his comment, no place was completely safe in the shadow realm.

Kiro slowly rose from the shadows behind the group, his wolves flanking him, but exiting off into the darkness. Their eyes glew in the dark, purple, on either side of the clearing. Kiro stayed his place, watching as dark cloaked figures began to usher into the clearing from the only path on the opposite side of the road that they had entered on. The figures formed a circle around the shrine, a single opening remaining before the group.

Cecil stepped into the circle, entering the shrine and kneeling before the altar.

Kiro passed his family, taking place as the final piece to the circle. His voice boomed. "We are gathered to introduce Cecil Beyrn Hoto into the Cleric of Shadows. Cecil, please unlock the seal." Kiro bowed his head, shrouding his face.

Cecil stood in his place. His body began to float, legs pressing together, and arms out to his sides. Suddenly, Cecil went limp. Shadows began to fold around him, runes glowing around the circle at the points of a square. The shadows stilled and folded, converging into Cecil's body creating a shroud around him.

The wolves stirred.
Elonia had changed form on their arrival, human again, and holding Echo close in her arms. The girl was clinging, but her gold eyes still watched the ceremony. Elonia whispered softly, soothing words, but her whole body was tensed, and the wolf like ears still on her head were laid back.

She was growling, her eyes glowing faintly, but she stayed still.

Digi shuddered a bit, lips curling at the feeling of the shadows. It was similar to the way she could travel through water, but it was compressing. She felt like the shadows were going to squeeze the very essence from her. She glanced at her mom and sister, moving to stand beside them before watching what went on with her brother. She couldn't help the grin that appeared on her lips, again feeling proud of her little brother. She was glad to at least have some part in his life.

As the shadows began to harden into a shroud around him. Cecil turned into a ball of lack. He floated over the Shrine in his cacoon.

Kiro peered into the darkness that was his son. He then spoke in his booming voice once more. "What say the elders?" Kiro's hands opened outwards in an accepting fashion. Formalities began.

At the exact right, a man stepped forth. "I say, yes." The man directly across from Kiro stepped forth. "The boy is ready. I say, yes." Lastly, the man to the exact left stepped out. "My answer, yes." Kiro bowed his head and smiled, then spoke. "And I will agree. He is ready for the path to come. May the shadows protect him and guide him." Kiro stepped forth, his hands palm open facing Cecil. A thick chant began throughout the group around them. Purple began to glow around Kiro's hands as a beam arked from his hans to Cecil's cacoon. The elders did the same creating a four pointed channel. Suddenly, the black orb and Cecil were gone. Kiro bowed his head, his smile disappearing. "Be strong my son." The group all bowed down deep, each man fell to his knees, a purple bubble appearing around them as they meditated.

Kiro turned back to his family. "Pray for Cecil. May he be strong for the horrors that await." Kiro's mind flashed as his eyes turned to a howling wolf. His head moved to find the eyes of the second wolf, but they were nowhere to be found. Kiro's anger flared.

Entering the sacred shrine, a malevolent black figure stalked. Jarad grinned wide. "Did you think I wouldn't come to see my grandson into this organization." His words were cold and disgusting. The man towered over the scene, his body thick and muscular. He strode farther inside, his blood red hair straight down to his shoulders parting to show his scarred face. "Miss me?"
Elonia was already backing away, baring her fangs and growling outloud. Echo started to scream, struggling in Elonia's hold, trying to break free so she could run. But Elonia knew better, shadow's surrounded them.

Echo thrashed, and still Elonia held firm to the small girl that was her mother. She was whispering, a small spell, and she sealed it by kissing her mother's forehead. Echo went silent and fell into a sleep, going limp. Her body was tense, as she moved backwards, seeking a way to leave.

"Give her to me. You're the better fighter." She turned to her sister, her arms out so she could take their mother. She glanced at her father, but she didn't know if he would be able to do anything. He and Cecil were both a part of this ritual.

Kiro's head bowed as his instantly his daughers and Echo would be sent from the area. They would all be covered in black before blinking out of the area and back to the cottage. At the cottage, the other wolf sat at the door. His purple eyes baring condolences. They would be safe here, and Kiro had made sure of it.

Kiro spun on his heels, his eyes meeting Jarads. "Father, you will feel every ounce of pain you plagued my family with..." Kiro walked briskly, his hands drawing the balance swords from either side of him. Instantly, he was at his father's back, his blade plunging forward. Nothing was there. Kiro's growl errupted thick and fast as he spun about in time to find his father staring with a grin.

"You cannot kill what isn't here." Jarad smiled, walking to Kiro and pushing his hand through the blade with no effect. "You are so naive. Did you think I would give you that pleasure little boy?" Jarad laughed maniacly. "Don't kid yourself. I just came to make things worse for you. I hope things went well." The image of Jarad shattered into shadows which fell back into normal places.

Kiro growled, his hands gripping his blades tight. Blood began to stream from his hands down his blades. The dual blades began to shimmer with energy matching their master's anger.

Instantly behind Kiro, Cecil appeared. He beamed with light as he landed on the ground. The thick smile on his face faded as he found his family dispersed. "Father?"

Kiro stepped forth to Cecil. "Things went wrong, but you have passed." Drawing his cape from his shoulder, Kiro transfered the cape to Cecil's shoulder. "This meeting is convened." The men stood from their meditation, noticing the strange absence of the family, but exiting without word. "We must return to the Cove. You must remember my son, the brighter the light gets, the darker the shadow becomes. You can never outrun your shadow." His mind flared to that wretched man.
Elonia blinked, finding herself suddenly back at the cove, and glanced around for Digi. Her ears perked, and wolfish tail swayed as she double checked the area. "Digi take her.." She said, quickly passing the passed out Echo into Digi's arms.

Then she turned, her form changing back to the silver wolf and began to pace. She was on edge, and didn't want to be caught off guard.

Digi held Echo close to her chest, gently rocking the sleeping child. She ran her fingers through her mother's hair, backing up so her back was too the cottage wall. She glanced around, watching her sister pace. She wasn't going to make it easy for people to sneak up on her.

The forest was silent. The brush stirred, and out came Kiro and Cecil. Kiro was in no mood to be toyed with right now. His face was a concrete slate of anger. His voice was quick and to the point. "Is everyone alright?" He approached them, concern melting his anger.

Cecil was different, his face was shame. His mind played out the thoughts of being completely responsible for this whole mishap.

The wolf at the door moved to meet his brother in the forest. Together they began to track to make sure nothing was around.
Elonia's fur rose and she crouched slightly when the brush stirred, but seeing who it was she got out of her pouncing stance. She stood, standing in front of Digi who held their mother, protectively. You liar, safe my a**. Fool, I should have never let you in this cove!

She snarled, and stalked towards Kiro.

"Elonia! He did his best!" Digi was growling back at her little sister, narrowing her eyes. Eventually, she shook her head and sat upon the grass. "You two sort out your issues. Little sister, I expect our father and brother to still be here when I awake. If they aren't, well, you wouldn't want to make mom cry now would you?" She glared at her sister, settling her mom on her lap and her sword on her knees. She entered a light sleep, arms protectively circling her mom, and her right hand on her swords hilt.

((HAPPY TURKEY DAY!!!! I have to go to bed... but i'll try and post back in the morn!! Night!))
Kiro looked at his daughter. Her wolven self stalked towards him, and this intregued Kiro. Kiro began to march towards her. "Don't you growl at me. You were safe! You didn't get hurt did you!" Kiro was in a pushy mood. His hands began to tremble.

Cecil moved behind his father, pressing his hands to his shoulder, and blocking his stride. "Calm."

Kiro broke passed his son, moving through him in a shadow step. He continued his approach. His body brimming with quivers.
The wolf was shaking, No but now I had no choice but to seal her memories...AGAIN. Her mind state is fragile.

She suddenly stopped and shook her head, as if trying to shake something off. Whining, she suddenly laid on the ground and her form changed. She was human, kneeling on the ground hunched over, her hands covering her face. "Ungh...and don't provoke me! The voice is stronger..and I don't wanna.."

Standing, she glared at Kiro, "So stoppit!" She screamed, then whirled around, and ran into the forest to collect herself.
