Cecil strode away from the cottage, his hands inside his pockets. The weather was a bit chilly, so Cecil was dressed appropriatly with his thick black jacket, with a white fur lining. His legs were covered by black jeans, and his feet by black and white vans. Cecil pushed his spiky blue hair away from his eyes as it tosseled wildly in the wind.
Something seemed off today, Cecil had yet to hear from his father since the night passed. Kiro hadn't come in to sleep, and this made Cecil nervous. While thinking of this, Cecil strode content in the cold. The cold was something he was used to, born in the cold. Everything about the cold made him happy. It was a climate that made him feel alive, feeling the chill on every part of his body.
Cecil entered the forest striding as he parted through the brush till he reached the lake. He stopped in shock as his eyes fell upon his father.
Kiro stood at the edge of the lack, his clothing much different then the night before. Kiro was dressed in a black tunic with a hood over his head. On his left shoulder was a cape hiding his left hand. The cape held the symbol of the Cleric of Shadows. The tunic was halved by a thick brown belt with three pouches on the back of the back. The lower half of the tunic extended down passed his bottom, and ended at the back of his knees. His legs were covered by black trousers, which ended inside his thick brown boots. Kiro's right hand was covered by a brown fingerless glove which ran half way up his forearm. His left hand which hide under the cape was covered by a smaller leather glove. On his left wrist was a strange looking device of metal.
Kiro peered over his shoulder, his face shrouded in darkness. "My son." His words were thick with a seeming passion. There had been a meeting the night before which Kiro had been called to. Kiro was now given his assignment. "They wish to initiate you soon. I have what you must wear. Be proud, for this day you become the shadows." Kiro turned around to his son, stepping forwards and clapping his hands onto Cecil's shoulders. "Tell your mother and sisters, they are invited to watch."
Cecil's eyes widened as he listened to his father's words. His mind exploded with glee as he realized that this day was the first day he would be accepted into the group he had worked so hard for. "Yes father." He replied, turning on his heels and sprinting off into the clearing.
Kiro turned his head as the wolves entered from the forest. He bowed his head to them as they both strode to his sides.
