Welcome to Gaia! ::

Cecil strode away from the cottage, his hands inside his pockets. The weather was a bit chilly, so Cecil was dressed appropriatly with his thick black jacket, with a white fur lining. His legs were covered by black jeans, and his feet by black and white vans. Cecil pushed his spiky blue hair away from his eyes as it tosseled wildly in the wind.

Something seemed off today, Cecil had yet to hear from his father since the night passed. Kiro hadn't come in to sleep, and this made Cecil nervous. While thinking of this, Cecil strode content in the cold. The cold was something he was used to, born in the cold. Everything about the cold made him happy. It was a climate that made him feel alive, feeling the chill on every part of his body.

Cecil entered the forest striding as he parted through the brush till he reached the lake. He stopped in shock as his eyes fell upon his father.

Kiro stood at the edge of the lack, his clothing much different then the night before. Kiro was dressed in a black tunic with a hood over his head. On his left shoulder was a cape hiding his left hand. The cape held the symbol of the Cleric of Shadows. The tunic was halved by a thick brown belt with three pouches on the back of the back. The lower half of the tunic extended down passed his bottom, and ended at the back of his knees. His legs were covered by black trousers, which ended inside his thick brown boots. Kiro's right hand was covered by a brown fingerless glove which ran half way up his forearm. His left hand which hide under the cape was covered by a smaller leather glove. On his left wrist was a strange looking device of metal.

Kiro peered over his shoulder, his face shrouded in darkness. "My son." His words were thick with a seeming passion. There had been a meeting the night before which Kiro had been called to. Kiro was now given his assignment. "They wish to initiate you soon. I have what you must wear. Be proud, for this day you become the shadows." Kiro turned around to his son, stepping forwards and clapping his hands onto Cecil's shoulders. "Tell your mother and sisters, they are invited to watch."

Cecil's eyes widened as he listened to his father's words. His mind exploded with glee as he realized that this day was the first day he would be accepted into the group he had worked so hard for. "Yes father." He replied, turning on his heels and sprinting off into the clearing.

Kiro turned his head as the wolves entered from the forest. He bowed his head to them as they both strode to his sides.
Elonia was striding through the forest, her form that of a silver wolf, bigger then most wolfs would be. She was watching her mother, gleefully skipping through the forest, not seeming to mind how dark it was now. Elonia's eyes glowed faintly, a bloody red that matched that of her sire.

She was keeping close eye on the girl, taking note of the scents in the ear, and her ears alert to any noise.

Echo was now occupied, a lightning bug having landed on her cupped hands, as she stood there staring down at it.
Cecil deverted himself, moving at a slight jog towards the auras of Echo and Elonia. He parted a tree, entering their view. Cecil was full of smiles and joy. "Mother, Elonia. I am being initiated into the Cleric of Shadows tonight. You must see.....That is if ya'll are ok with entering the shadow realm again..." His eyes glazed as he thought of the trials they occured there. Cecil hadn't thought about this part when he had thought to invite them. To many memories might prohibit them from joining in his happiness.

Digi was settled against the wall, her head tilted back and her breathing even. She had fallen asleep some time ago, and had not noticed her mother slipping away. She was normally a light sleeper, but with all the stress that had been bugging Digi lately, she'd slipped into the dream realm swiftly, and deeply.

Her ears twitched, and she growled softly, turning her head slightly to glance at Cecil as he emerged. She huffed, and moved towards her mother.

Echo glanced up hearing Cecil, the bug flying from her hand. "The shadow realm? Well...I.." She seemed hesitant, a little torn, and it was apparent on her face. She bit her bottom lip.

Elonia growled again, her voice echoing in the air. "What a stupid question...like we wo.." She was cut off, as Echo came over and put a small hand on her head.

"Yes we can go..." The little girl said, trying to hide the slight fearful look from her features.

Elonia just sighed, and stood.
Cecil listened to his sister, and saw the fear in his mother. His joy began to fade. Cecil's lips parted to console, but no words came. "I'll....go get Digi." Cecil kept his body facing them, but moved away slowly, retreating into the darkness.

Cecil began to jog towards the cottage, his mind angry at himself. Why would you even think they would want to go.... But dad and I are there this time.... Still you are an idiot. He sighed aloud to himself as he exited the forest and entered the cottage. His sister was asleep, but he wanted her there. Cecil walked over and in a low light voice spoke.

"Digi, wake up." He waited hoping she woke. "You have to come watch me get initiated into the Cleric of Shadow."

Kiro looked down at the two wolves. "You know their scents. Don't let this go wrong. The first sign of trouble and I am to be notified immediatly, even if we are entering the final stage."

The wolves both circled Kiro huffing with disapproval.

"I know. This will be trying, but they will be fine. I will let nothing go wrong." Kiro said comforting the pups.

She groaned a bit, opening her eyes a bit. Her words were slurred as she gently rubbed her stiff neck. "Wazza Shadow Clerk?" With a yawn, she gently rubbed the sleep from her eyes. Her body was stiff and sore from the way she had fallen asleep, and she had to force the tense muscles to relax so she could pop her spine and neck. She sighed in content as she felt the sore muscles relax again, standing slowly as she grabbed her sword.

His lips curved upwards. Cecil had learned to count on Digi to cheer him up even when things weren't so great. There wasn't to much time, so Cecil had to be quick with his explanation before they would leave. "Shadow Cleric, not Shadow Clerk." He chuckled low. "They are the elite upper echelon shadow mantics. Father has been a Shadow Cleric since he was a child. Come!" Cecil grabbed her hand tugging her behind him as he escaped the cottage.

"Oh. Sorry Cec-Ack!" Digi's hand was grasped and tugged in quick succession, making Digi stumble before regaining balance and trotting after her brother. "I don't get it. Is it like becoming one with your given nature?" She was still confused, but she would wait for Cecil to answer. She'd know soon anyway right?

Elonia emerged from the shadow's of the rest, with Echo riding safely upon her back. She neared her father, a growl threatening to escape from her throat. Lets get this over with....

Echo's hands where curled into the wolfs fur tightly, her eyes wide and staring at Kiro. "How long will this take?" She asked in a shaky voice.
Kiro's head tilted down to the two who had entered the scene. The wolves retreated away into the forest, while Kiro approached Echo and Elonia. "It will take a little while, but you haven't to worry. Echo, I know things will never be the same. But you can feel no fear, for I am here this time. I would never let anything befall any of you." Kiro's words were stoic and sound. His eyes moved to his daughter's discouraging growl. "Yes good evening to you too Elonia."

Cecil broke out of the forest with Digi on his wrist. He turned to her and smiled. "All will be revealed in a bit." Turning about quickly, Cecil bowed to his father before retreating to change. After a couple moments, he returned dressed a similar outfit as his father, lacking the accessories on his left arm, and the cape.

Kiro smiled at his son.

Digi shook her head a bit, trying to clear the last of the fog. She wanted to pay attention to what was happening with her brother. When she saw him hide and return in new clothing, she could not help but smile. Though she had little clue what was going on, she felt surprisingly proud for her brother, and she was glad that she would be able to watch him in this test.. thingy.
