Kawaii Hunter

Rebekah felt anger burning in her at Saria's remarks, wanting to rip Ralic's arm off just to prove a point. But she wasn't going to be like her brother--she wasn't her brother, but Saria needed to back off before she lashed out at her. She slowly let go of Ralic, looking at Fray now with her intense blue eyes. "So you had to kill him. Is that what you're sayng? For the pain he caused you?" She was connecting the pieces now that Fray spilled her guts about what he'd done. "I read your notes. I know you have the white oak stake," She said, now walking towards her, "No more lies!" Her eyes began to turn red and she snarled at them, ready to attack if Saria or Ralic advanced on her. "It was the only way. He would never let us live in peace," Fray said, looking back up to Rebekah with an apoogetic look. "I'm sorry we lied to you but we had to protect ourselves from him.

Thieving Rogue

((whoops sorry if I messed things up?))

Saria was genuinely surprised to see that Rebekah had listened and let go of Ralic. Now, Saria was hostile and suspicious by nature, but she wasn't unreasonable. At seeing Rebekah listen, Saria too let go of her blade, putting it back in it's sheath. However, the elf could re-arm herself in nanoseconds should Rebekah attempt another attack.

The vines around her arms writhed quietly as Rebekah and Fray spoke. The elf was preparing to attack with her foliage should she find it necessary. The battle scarred woman narrowed her eyes, watching the exchange between the two.

"Yes, Jayke is dead." Saria confirmed, chiming in. "He's been causing us all sorts of hell for several years now. Although, apparently his death is what woke you up, so you're welcome."

A snotty sarcastic remark, but Saria wasn't sure where this conversation was going. Were they going to fight, or was Rebekah going to waste everyone's time with endless droning like Jayke did? Saria's callouses made it impossible for her to view Bekah as anything other than a vampire, an undead monster, which kills to continue its pitiful existence.
(Oh hush. You know I don't care. :p )

Melancholy Rhythms

Mohan was in the kitchen, looking out the window. He could see Fray, Ralic, and Saria speaking with Rebekah, and the situation looked tense. He frowned as he brought a mug of coffee to his lips, taking a sip.

He couldn't go out and see what was up. He knew that the women likely went outside to save the manor from the potential turmoil the meet up could cause. Besides, there were too many innocent bystanders hanging around inside the manor. He had to look after them.

He turned, making his way into the bar where he saw the man with the metal arm whom he never had a chance to catch his name, and Tikki wondering about quite aimlessly. He approached the bar counter, freshening up his coffee, before bringing a mug and the pot over to where the mechanical-arm man sat.

"Coffee?" He offered.

Gorthan milled about aimlessly, walking up and down walls, upon seeing Mohan and the newcomer he tilted his head at the word coffee, he was of course on the roof at this time, he wondered where Tikki was. He could at least introduce himself, with Mohan there of course, he really felt the urge now to ask her to be his friend. That is of course if she wanted to, looking at the vervain flowers growing on the walls he walked over to a vine of them and plucked a few.

"Flower, friendship." He said to himself, he let go of the ceiling and wandered to where Mohan was, holding the flowers. "Girl?" He simply said referring to Tikki, he put the flowers behind his back to hide them. He wanted to show her he was of no threat to her, and that he just wanted to be her friend. He blushed again at the thought of the girl, he really had no idea why but he felt compelled to ask her.

The man had returned after wandering around the town. Unfortunately, most of the places he passed required more then a few crumpled bills for clothes or food so he had returned to where he knew another possible free meal was. He sat by the window, staring out blankly until the sound of foot steps turned his attention. He looked to the man and pot of coffee, blinking in silent calculation for an answer.
"Yes, thank you."
He nodded as he looked down at the mug.
Mohan glanced upwards as he heard Gorthan address him. He had not noticed the dragonling on the ceiling until that moment. He watched as the dragon picked his flowers, and frowned when he asked where Tikki was.

"No," He responded softly to the dragon. "Tikki has been through a lot. She needs space to recover. When she is ready, she will introduce herself to you. Until then, it would be wise to leave her be."

Changing his attention to the man, he placed the empty mug next to him, filling it with coffee at his request. He set the coffee pot down on the counter, figuring he might as well whip up some breakfast for everyone.

"Anyone interested in breakfast?"

The man wrapped his right hand around the mug, lifting it to his mouth and taking a slow sip of the black coffee. Things seemed more settled today, at least so far. He looked up at the offer for breakfast as he glanced around to see if anyone else would take up the offer.
"I would. Anything is fine."
His stomach had groaned most of the morning, sleeping had given him back most of his energy though his metabolism now growled for food.

Gorthan nodded at Mohan and placed the flowers on the counter, "Give?" He asked subtly his tone had dropped from confused to a little disheartened. Though when the man offered to make breakfast, his eyes lit up like a torch in the dark. He smiled and waved his hand, "Me! But can I has raw the meat?" He was polite and mannered about his question, though his choice of his words were simple and short.
Besides her outburst for a bath, Tikki had been quiet during her time awake, mostly succumbing to deep thought. She had managed to climb the far wall in the bar, and seemed content just watching, her eye constantly twitching between people. It narrowed whenever she looked upon a man that wasn't her self-named "Daddy", though she held in her snarls of distrust and merely stiffened. Her body hunched down against the wall, clinging by only her nimble fingers and toes. Tikki then watched with a sense of morbid curiosity as her Daddy told the...that...boy, dragon, thing to leave her be. True, her life had been hard, but did it show that much? Was she really that uncivilized? She supposed it all seemed sane in her mind, how men can be evil creatures. But...what of the outside world? What WAS the outside world? These thoughts raced through her head as she began to pace the ceiling, slowly, back and forth. She didn't quite know how she would get down. Maybe fall, maybe jump, or maybe cry for help. She didn't think of it right now.

Instead she thought of home, of her facility, of what she could have and should have done. Her empty socket bore into the ground below as she flipped her head upside down, her short, dark hair falling from her shoulders.

"Still needs baths."

She muttered to herself, deciding that going alone was the best thing to do. She climbed to the corner and tried to go down head first.

Nope.

Tail first?

Nope.

Sideways?

No go.

Sighing in frustration, she slowly placed one foot down, and promptly slipped halfway down the wall. Letting off a short cry Tikki dug her stubby nails in, using a bit more of her grip to stay halfway up.

"Oh...oh...mnnnnffff...fudge!"

She cried, saying what she believed to be a curse. For now she was determined, and ever so slowly began her trek downward, never once calling for help.

Mohan nodded at the joint requests for breakfast - one cooked, one raw. He watched Tikki on the wall quietly, watching her determination to get down from the wall herself. He let her be; it was good to figure things out for oneself. Created a sense of pride and accomplishment. So he wouldn't assist her unless she cried out for help.

So he turned, making his way into the kitchen. A few minutes later he returned with two plates. One was filled with three pancakes, scrambled eggs, and a couple slices of bacon. The second was filled with raw bacon, raw sausage, and one child-sized pancake. He wasn't sure if dragons liked pancakes?

Either way, he set the first plate down in front of the mechanical-armed man and then the other in front of Gorthan. He brought the coffee pot again to the mechanical armed man to freshen up his mug.

"My name is Mohan," the doctor introduced.

The man looked up from his coffee, looking back to see the girl scaling the wall once more and seeming to have some trouble getting down from it. He turned back around, figuring if he watched for too long it may put the girl back into a frantic state like before. He took a drink from his coffee, licking his lips as he set the mug back down. The man seemed to always have a lost look to him, like he was never really certain of where he was. When the food was set in front of him he looked down to it, gazing over the different item's before up to the other man's face who had served him.
"Thank you."
He responded in a low tone before picking up his fork in his right hand. At the introduction the man stopped, staring down as if it were a difficult introduction to take in. A part of him felt that this meant he was to introduce himself in return but he wasn't quite sure of how he could do that when he wasn't positive of his name himself. After a few silent minutes he decided on a name and looked up again.
"Hello. I'm...James."
It came out in an uncertain tone but he stuck to it, pulling his plate a bit closer with his left hand as his metal digits clinked lightly on the edge of he dish.
She struggled, just five feet up now, inching bit by bit towards the ground. Her foot slipped lower, and she moved her hand off the wall in an attempt to reach further down. But low and behold, gravity is a real thing, and without all her limbs gripping the wall, she fell with a loud thunk to the floor. She lie there for a moment, a bit dazed from the fall, then slowly sat up. With a grunt she managed to get on two feet, using her tail to support her slightly awkward stance. When she was finally upright, Tikki brushed herself off, combing her silken hair through her fingers before looking about. Had anyone seen? No? Good. At least...she thought it was a no. With a mildly embarrassed look on her face she wordlessly made her way to the bar, clambering up the seat and plopping down, wiggling just slightly and kicking her toes outwards, as a child might do.

James?

She blinked, looking over to the man who had introduced himself. The uncertainty in his voice was as thick as her ears were long. And as only a child could be, what Tikki said next was brutally honest.

"Lying bad."

She didn't like him, she probably wasn't going to, but Daddy had told her to be nice, and she needed to remember her manners. She peered at his metal fingers, her eye narrowing, the hollow eye socket seeming to stare everywhere at once.

"Where arms go? Dids Doctor Rucks take off?"

She asked with genuine curiosity, perhaps this man had been an experiment too. It would be nice to have someone to bond with.
