The ♥ Heartless ♥ Manor (Literate RPG) (Walk-In)

With Breaking Benjamin blaring out of the stereo in the bar room, Yuni took some high proof liquor from the shelves with a rag from the sink. Everclear. Shines wood right up. Saji loves the stuff too, along with absinthe. Quietly singing along with the current song, the Nekojin doused the rag with the liquid and moved to polish the closest table to the bar with it.

Slow night, though not unexpected...

The slow night passed as slowly as Yuni had feared. No one came in through the door. No Saria. No Stykes. No Ralic. No Chesire and Loki... The last one hit the hardest. It had been a long time since her favorite foxman had come back. It was worrying her greatly, especially after the last time he had disappeared. But there was no note now, she was sure of it. The entire building was clean once more, leaving Yuni to sit on the bar counter and fiddle with the draw string of her burlap sack. It sounded like it was filled with metal, parts and gears clanging when she set the bag onto the floor.

The stereo was playing 'Love Isnt Always Fair' by Black Veil Brides, and Yuni was quietly singing along. Her little Heartless buddy sat on a bar stool, antennae twitching to the sounds of the rock music.

As I walk in the shadow of death...

The path leading to the manor would start rippling as though a mass heat surge had started in the middle of the path. A humanoid shape would appear in the middle of the waves and a man would step out. Crystal blue hair and eyes would sparkle under the sun as the man turned his head, causing the scar on his throat to bunch up slightly. A pentacle scar on his right cheek shown out from his tannish skin.

He walked up to the door and kicked his black combat boots on it to knock the dirt out of the treads. His black trenchcoat fluttered slightly from the wind causing the H.R.B.O. that was stitched under the triangle pattern to wave. His black pants shuffled slightly as he moved past the door into the building. He glanced over the room and stopped his gaze on the girl sitting on the counter.

There was the wooden creak of boots on the porch, a sound that had Yuni quickly pick up her slate haired head and perk her orange feline ears attentively. That was a sound she hadnt heard in a while.

"Chezzy? Loki? Saria?" The Nekojin quietly called out, warily, hopeful. She didnt hear a response, but the door had opened and there were foot steps coming down the main hallway. Her Heartless buddy looked at the entrance to the bar room, though its antennae drooped a fraction of n inch.

The light haired man wasn't any of the named people, though Yuni grinned all the same. She flailed her arms to gesture to the bar room and the drinks on the shelves behind her.

"Welcome to the Heartless! How can I help ya?"

As I walk in the shadow of death...

The man watched the girl have weird spaz attack and grinned lightly.

"Good to see there are lively people in here," he said walking forward slightly, "Last place I went was deader that a cemetary."

The shadow creature would be able to feel a presence in the mans shadow. It would be much bigger than the little one but it would be the unmistakable sense of a Shadow creature.

Yuni snickered some at the man's response, her flailing arms stopping to rest on the counter. Her petite form twisted back, and up, and completed the backflip by landing on the tender side of the counter. An acrobatic little thing. The Nekojin plucked up her Heartless buddy from its stool and plopped it onto the space between her feline ears. The little thing was twitching curiously, unblinking white eyes staring at the man's shadow.

"Well, I try to be the life o' the party." Yuni grinned widely, tail swaying behind her. "Even at cemeteries."

The man sat down across from her at the counter and watched as she stood there with the little feller on her head staring at his shadow.

"A bottle of tequila with a worm if you don't mind," he asked, "and my names Chiron."

He smiled and held out his hand.

Yuni blinked and thought for a moment about the request, ears twitching on either side of the shadow creature. That might be on the special shelf, and the girl got a little stool before turning to face the alcohol. Tippy top shelf, and Yuni hopped back down with the bottle in hand. She set the bottle an a shot glass on the counter in front of the man, introduced as Chiron.

She smiled, and took his hand for a friendly shake. "Chiron's a funny name! Its very nice to meetcha. Short name's Yuni~"
