"Ngh-ah~!" Nobu raised his wrist to wipe his lips and then threw Tyson an incredulous stare. His eyes fell on the amulet that was fiddled between Tyson's fingers. Those same red eyes slid up to Tyson's single aqua one, the gaze held steady and true.

Did he hate Tyson? No of course not.. Then why was he always such a d**k to him? Nobu swallowed some more of his water and let his lips form a grim line. He averted his gaze then and grazed the length of his index across his lower lip

"I don't hate you." He finally said, "I just..." I just what? He felt his cheeks flush a bit as his hand now wondered up to rub the back of his head roughly. Yes, he was the entertainer of the place, but that didn't actually mean he was good at talking to others. All he had to do was put up a show; no actual interaction. He stopped the rubbing and looked back up at Tyson quietly; lost for words.

Tyson's stared steadily back at Nobu. He was waiting for some sort of answer or explanation.

I don't hate you.

it felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. If they were going to work together they needed to be able to get along, too. But it wasn't just that. Tyson couldn't stand the thought of Nobu not liking him. He felt like they could get along if the opportunity was there.
Maybe it had something to do with the last time they were alone together? Maybe Tyson had taken it too far?

I just....

There was a long silence after that, followed by a long exhale from Tyson. Oh well. He didn't need Nobu to explain, so long as he didn't actually hate him.
His lips were pulled back into a grin.
"No worries, love. That's all I needed ta 'ear." He tore his single eye away and brushed back a long lock of hair, tucking it behind his ear.

Nobu had been staring at the rim of the narrow opening on the bottle. He twirled it slowly in his grasp and seemed deeply enthralled with the object until Tyson's final sigh caught his attention. Nobu looked up quickly and then away from him, shyly.

"Need any help setting up?" This was mumbled and if Tyson hadn't heard him, he'd be quick to walk off on him.

Tyson took one step forward, froze in his tracks, then took one step back. He turned his head to glance back at Nobu and he couldn't help but beam on the inside. So he was capable of being nice to Tyson. "Sure." He said with a smile.

He came to stand beside Nobu, making sure to keep in step with him.
"I don't actually know what I'm supposed to do..." He admitted, clearing his throat and scratching the side of his neck. At least it wasn't busy. Tyson wasn't sure how he'd react under pressure, though he didn't doubt his ability in mixing drinks. It was not being able to taste those drinks that would be the challenge.

A creature of pink and a head adorned with aqua jewels jetted passed the mansion's front desk. It's pair of white wings fluttered in their excitement, a mere blur against the rooms' lavishing surroundings. A squeal would gurgle and pop into the main hall as the little creature zipped back the way it came. Just what was the matter with the alien now? Lala zoomed up towards the main halls chandelier and wiggled his six appendages down to the floor. Then it happened.

A loud ROAR broke into the hall as a lion pounced into existence, leaping out of the nearby doorway. This fully grown feline did not look happy, and all the alien owner did was squee in excitement. How had that thing come to the tavern? Were there any guests around? Why was Lala so excited?!

The Elephant Gun was known for being a quaint and friendly establishment. It had its lounging area, bar and guest rooms to accommodate any kind of guest....except for the occasional lion. The cat's menacing frame paced below the fluttering octofloo, while the alien in question simply let out a gurgling-like giggle in it's thrill. It's large bulbous head tilted to the left and then the right, almost as if dancing along with it's joy.

A friend a friend~ the creature telepathically cooed. Though the lion didn't seem to share this thought as it insistently tried to bat the pink thing out of the air. The large claws were swiftly averted by the alien's tentacle dance. Fr-eeeh-nd~ Lala cooed out a happy chirp and started to dance around the seething feline..

Kane Evon'roth

Kane had always been a loyal, organized and well educated servant, but when your boss is a six legged octopus creature there was just so much you could handle. Like the tiger for example, somewhere, somehow young Lala had teleported a live, hungry tiger into their midst. Now, though there was no guest or resident to be concerned over there was still a very large, very menacing creature in the lobby. So what did he do? Well, to slay such a majestic beast would be a sin, so Kane captured it; it had something to do with metal hangers and a slab of meat. Regardless of how the formidable servant managed to accomplish this, it was done. The beast was reported and shipped away in a matter of hours. It was now that Kane, felt his shoulders relax; ever so slightly. Dark forest eyes sliced to his side as he noticed the empty, recently cleaned halls... Quiet... too quiet.

"Sire..?" Kane readjusted a black glove with a swift tug and started towards the hall. Where had that alien run off to now?

Kane Evon'roth

Kane paced the main lobby of the Elephant Gun. It had been eight days. Eight bloody days, since he had heard anything from his sweet employer. The somber servant was close to calling the national guard at this point. But, mmn oh yes. There was a bit of question of his bosses....ethnicity. 'Yes we are looking for a pink octopus flying thing with wings.' 'Sir did you say...pink?' Of all the ludicrous things! His Master was far from normal, and though he could be picked out from any crowd, people were more likely to run out of fear than coddle it and try to find it's home. Kane was in trouble, and that would soon turn into LOADS of trouble if he didn't find his employer soon. I mean, who was going to pay rent!?

The man quit his paces him opted out to adjust and readjust his cuffs. He had searched everywhere, and even in his absence it seemed that the tavern hadn't suffered all that much. A few scattered people would always let themselves in, take a beer, laugh at this thing or that and then be on their way. Currently, the bar and lounge were empty. Kane worried. Was this a good thing...or a bad? The servant looked over to the entrance doors and slowly quit his fidgeting. Someone. Anyone. Come in.
