Briar shivers at the nuzzle, trying to bring her hands from his grip on the wall, but fails as she realizes he's too far gone. "Damn, I didn't want to do this.." She mutters, then brings her face forward to peck his cheek. "Sorry!" She says louder with a wince in her voice. The static energy around them would then concentrate and a powerful force of electricity would come from Briar's very body to push away the vampire. It was a blow that would most likely knock him to the opposite wall, if not to the ground at least. Her magica was low in her mortal form, this she knew, but she still had enough to defend herself if need be. Her eyes darted to Dae after she got herself free, sympathy in her eyes. She knew she couldn't leave him like that, wandering around in a zombie-like state! It was like he was a thrall.. poor thing. Briar puffed out her chest then and pushed her hands forward to him, muttering some words as smoke started to pour from her palms. "You'll be easier to handle if you're smaller!" She said to him. It was obvious then that she was going to shrink him again.
Just as he goes to take a bite, energy blasts him back. He growls as he's tossed back. He smacks the opposite wall, his head takes most of the impact. He falls down on his hands and knees. He's unconscious for a good minute before he comes to. "Damn, Briar. I'm sorry for staring at your chest but was that really necessary?" His voice is back to normal. His eyes back to piercing gray and his fangs are their normal length. It seems he doesn't remember anything past staring at her chest. He rubs the back of his head which has formed an impressive lump. "Ow."
(( Good night and thank you for the fun RPing! :3 ))
Briar would peek over the smoke with her tip-toes and gasp a little, stopping her magic in the making and rushing over to him, crouching down beside him. The smoke, which was bluish black, was still swirling around her feet. "Wait, you're back to normal now?" She asked, cupping his face in her small hands and looking in his eyes, then at his mouth and aorund hie head, frowning a bit at the lump on the back of his skull. The left over energy might even leave her touch to be very warm, but harmless. "I'm sorry! You were about to bite me though!" She explained with a bit of a huff in her voice and face. "Really, do you know how bad that is for you?" She scolded, talking about more her magical blood rather than the whole hunger thing - but it could come off as either or. She let go of his face finally and leaned to the side to see his lump. "Sorry, I really didn't want to.. I mean, it was the quickest thing I could think of.. er.. sorry.." She said, feeling bad for hurting him. "I can heal that, uh, one second! It should work on you, I'm sure..." She said, holding a hand over the lump, but not touching it, until a warm glow would appear and sooth the pain. Once that was done, she would look Dae in the eyes again. "Do you really not recall pinning me and stuff?" She asked in wonder, very curious if that bump might have even caused some slight amnesia!
Having heard the noise going on virtually right outside of her room, Cerynitis shuffles out in a set of green footy pajamas, dragging an oversized toy jack-a-lope by the arm behind her. “I don’t think you guys are being loud enough out here.” She grumbled with a pout on her lips. “How am supposed to get my beauty sleep if you two are out here making so much ruckus…huh?” She continued to whimper, looking between the two. “Briar…an apron is not an appropriate article of clothing to be wearing around like that. The next time you decide to go into your mortal form, I’m going to have to insist that you wear the clothes that are in your hut’s closet. They’re specially designed to grow and shrink with you. That way, you won’t offend anyone with your nudity, nor cause the resident vampires into a lust rage.” She pouted some while rubbing her eye.
"Ow. What are you talking about?" He rubs his head vigorously as if he could push the lump back down and ease the pain away. His hand drops when she holds his face. Warm, small hands... he could get used to that.. but then he realizes that it feels very clinical. Its like hes at a doctor's office with the way she is inspecting him. He wouldn't be surprised if she asked him to turn his head and cough or open his mouth and say Ah. "Bite you? That doesn't make sense; you're over-exaggerating. I had my fill when we were in the kitchen. Just because I was staring a little too closely at your chest, it doesn't mean you had the right to hit me." He stands. He's completely confused. "Well yeah, I know that pixie blood is bad; magically infused blood is the most dangerous kind. That's obvious. I wouldn't be stupid enough to bite you as I wouldn't be able to handle the repercussions." He lets her inspect the lump on his head closely. "Anyway, I remember staring at your chest and the next second you whack me across the hall. Is that any way to treat a friend? A warm tingle spreads throughout his scalp and he's glad to find the bump on his head has disappeared. "Thanks... and... I pinned you?" Just then, Cery emerges from her room. She mentions something about a lust rage? It suddenly hits him that something must have happened, something bad. He has a flashback to the bits and pieces of memory from when he attacked Aisling. "No... I didn't. Briar. Did I hurt you?" He stares at her. Looking at her from head to toe to assess any damage. Blood-lust again. Its happened countless times before... His hand covers his face and he uses the nearest wall to steady himself.
Briar stood with him and circled around him once as a last inspection before halting in front of him again. "Yeah, you pinned me to the wall, that's why i had to use force.. I did warn you first!" She huffed, putting her small hands on her hips, but letting them drop a moment later. "At least you've come out of it now.. I don't like hurting my friends." She sighed a bit of a pout. Cery then walked out and Briar grinned, waving to her. "Hello, sleepy Cery~" She giggled, then covered he mouth to hush herself. "Sorry.. wait, I have magical clothes? I never knew that, you're too good Cery! Ooh, I have to go see now!" She said in an excited, but quieter voice. But her mood somewhat changed to sympathetic as Dae denied the blood-lust. "You actually did... I'm fine, I think I hurt you more.." She said, looking down for a second as she clasped her hands in front of her. "I-I'll go change..." She finally decided, not a moment sooner, and began her magic to return to her usual size. After it was done, Briar covered her lady parts and giggled some before she flew off to her hut, eager to try on clothes. "I'm going to go play dress up! Visit me later~" She called behind her as she left them in the hall. Part of her had grown weary of the vampire now, but another part of her knew he didn't mean it...
Akane is watching and she has been watching ever since Briar and Dae walked into the hallway. She meant to greet the two but decided to be a spy instead. She leaves her door open a crack with one gray eye peeking out. It was a shame Dae Jooni didn't just eat the pixie as she was definitely at a better size now that she would have made a decent meal. It was a tragedy to watch him get pushed back by a being so weak. If he was at his full strength, he would have withstood her assault and taken her... in both senses of the word. With what she was wearing at the time (an apron?), the girl was just begging for it. How dare she parade about like that in front of Dae Jooni!
Dae is more messed up than she anticipated. His morals were going to get him killed both physically and mentally. The longer he suppressed his urges, the more damage he would do in the long run. The blood-lust would drive him mad and eventually he would revert back to his true self permanently. She was sure of it. It was just so much easier to give in; why try to suppress the inevitable? He was going to turn back into her Dae Jooni eventually. A Dae who was just as conniving and twisted as her. In fact, she was hoping to speed up the process. A grin spreads across her face. She silently closes the door, hoping no one noticed her spying.
The creature that was Cerynitis let out a sigh and meandered over to Dae as Briar retreated to her hut. “It’s not the end of the world.” She said, helping the vampire up and quietly escorting him to his room. “I understand that you don’t want to or mean to hurt anyone. I should introduce you to Aludian sometime. I’m not entirely sure if he’s a vampire…but he is another guest to whom I supply fresh blood to on a daily basis. From what I can tell, he uses some kind of magic or ingredient in his blood…either to help sustain his power or maybe to keep him from going a blood-rage. I’m not certain as to which, as I haven’t taken the time to discuss such matters with him as of yet. But I imagine he understands what you’re going through…and might have some suggestions on how to handle it.” She suggested, tapping the doorframe in a specific rhythm before the door to Dae’s suite would open for her. Her ears would twitch and swift back at the sound of Akane's room door closing.
"I'm losing it Cery." His face looks weary and he suddenly feels tired. "Aludian?" He sounds out the name slowly. He wasn't one to ask a stranger for help, but at this point, he was going to need it. He hadn't told anyone yet but his hunger lately was getting harder and harder to quench. He was also more restless. He still felt on edge from whatever had transpired between him and Briar. What had happened? He's grateful Cery leads him to his room otherwise, he probably would have ended up brooding out in the hallway all night. The bed looks inviting. He walks almost like a zombie towards it. He strips off his clothes along the way, leaving only his boxers and slides onto the warm blankets.
Akane is rummaging about the kitchen, still nude. It seems she has the same sense of modesty as the pixie. It was only that she was trying to find something to eat within her room that she wasn't walking about outside in her birthday suit. Within the mini fridge is the blood Cery promised to provide. It was held in a thermos. She opens it, sniffs the contents and makes a sour face. "Ew..." It was a hard smell to describe but it obviously wasn't pleasant. It was like the smell punched her in the nose. Fresh blood didn't smell like that. The perfume of fresh blood was tantalizing to the senses, almost erotic. For the sake of curiosity, she takes a sip and immediately begins choking and spitting. It dribbles down her chin and she wipes it off her face angrily. "Yuck. How can Dae drink this crap?" To Akane, the blood was similar in taste to spoiled milk, minus the chunky goodness. It just wasn't right and it wasn't warm, meaning straight from the vein warm. It was no wonder Dae was messed up. A couple of days on this stuff and Akane would also go on a blood-lust rampage to find the real thing.
Akane dumps the thermos with the nasty blood down the drain. If Dae was truly drinking this stuff, it was equivalent to starving himself. That was probably why he had snapped when that pixie girl paraded about in front of him. She might as well have been wearing a neon sign that said "Bite Me." Akane shakes her head. And stupid Dae... sexy b*****d that he is, fell for it.. She's extremely thirsty, but she has to ignore it for now if she is to keep her promise to Cery. She decides to put her mind on something else to ease the hunger. How was she going to get Dae back to his old self? She taps her lips with her finger as she lays on her stomach on the bed. I'm not too good at this thinking stuff... She sticks out her tongue. Wonder what that yummy leocorn is doing? And just like that, her inner thoughts reveal just how fickle she is.
She moves. None of the sheets on the bed are disturbed as she does so. She's suddenly standing at the door to her room, fully clothed. This time she is wearing a ruffled black skirt and mesh shirt and covering her modest chest is a black strapless bra. Black, leather biker gloves adorn her hands. She is without shoes. I hate shoes. On her face, she has on black eyeliner and black lipstick. Oh yeah, she could go from girlie girl to goth in an instant and rock both sides of the spectrum. She flicks her hair back and opens the door to go on the hunt. She'll wander the entire estate if she has to in order to find the leocorn.
(( Sorry I've been very busy with finals and work the past few days.. ))
Rowan yawned from his bed, still lying on it and attempting to nap. He had enough with everyone for now and only wanted peace. Earlier, he did hear the spat between the pixie and Dae, but it sounded as if it was over before it even began, so he didn't bother. He took his hands out from under his head and placed them on his stomach instead, his tail idly waving over the side of the bed as he laid there peacefully. He still had on no shirt, and planned a hot shower later to clean the remaining tea off of him. His horn had a subtle glow to it, however, but only noticeable as the light faded with the sun. It seemed it was quickly becoming night. If he could get away with his duties, just for now, he'd rather spend it just lounging away on his bed - head towards the middle as his knees bent over the foot, with his feet resting idly on the floor. He took in a slow, deep breath, and let it go in a gentle sigh. As such was the sleeping leocorn~
Briar would appear not too long after she raced off to her den, sitting on the ground outside the ballroom, but on the pavement instead of the grass. She was watching what seemed like a meteor shower cascading across the darkening sky. Her face a soft smile, and her doe eyes tranquil. Briar's hair as well was still loose around her shoulders.
But she had clothes on this time! She wore a light pink, over-sized sweater with a pair of brown leggings underneath it.
Her wings were not visible at this point, and that was simple because she was not in her usual form, but mortal once more! It seemed that she didn't have her fill of being 'human' that day - even with the vampire danger lurking about.
As she sat, Briar hummed quietly to herself, holding her knees close to her chest.
She peaks into each room, the majority appear unoccupied or unused. She eventually comes upon the correct room. She licks her lips. Even breathing and the occasional swish of his tail indicate the handsome leocorn is in a deep sleep. Perfect. She goes from peaking into the room to standing in front of the leocorn's bed with only a slight click as the door closes behind her. Such is the speed of a true vampire. She practically eye-gropes him from the tip of his horn to the tip of his tail. He isn't wearing a shirt. Awesome. He looks at peace and the expression he has is so different from when she first met him, like he was a different person then. She leans in close to his face and blinks a few times. What does a leocorn's blood taste like? For that matter, what is a leocorn? Lion and Unicorn perhaps? What a strange mix. She tilts her head as she inspects his features. Such a handsome creature. I must have him. She steps back. She concentrates on the leocorn and causes a noticeable shift the atmosphere of the room as her vampire influence fills it. If the leocorn is able to be influenced by her aura, he will feel a sudden mental pull. It will awaken him and upon seeing Akane, he will develop a sudden inexplicable attraction to her. Like good little prey, he may even allow her to feed from him... but only if her influence is capable of persuading a leocorn as Akane has never before exuded her powers on one. "Rowan..."
