[. He'd cleared just about half the bottle by the time he set it back down on the table with a thud and a satisfied ' ahh'. .]
" Use'ta been able to. Aha. Them were the days, eh? But that was a long time ago, 'fore you were born. 'Fore a lot were born. "
[. He cast a lopsided smirk her way before tipping his hair back again, balanced by his tail pressed to the floor. It loosed and stiffened as required for a rocking motion and Julian folded his hands over his abdomen. ]
Her attention was immediately drawn from the demon who was thankfully no longer cranky.
It was eerie to someone so similar to herself, but thankfully there was enough difference there for the vain vampire to feel superior. The bartender got up from her chair. "Excuse me," She said to Julian, though she figured he frankly wouldn't give a s**t, and looked to the tigress before her. "Welcome. What can I get you?" Her silky voice sounding sickly sweet accompanied by her hardened stare. Unlike the other, her left eye was marred and the iris stood creamy white with no pupil.
Long jean clad legs took the beauty back 'round the counter and she placed her long nailed hands delicately on the counter. She hoped to herself this wouldn't be like the customer the other day ordering ice cream and soda pop.
"Whadd'ja say if'n I rename this place the Pet Shop, Kitten?"
[. He called once she'd placed herself behind the bar. A laugh found its escape and his gaze swung to rest upon the new woman, a feline like Tig, and his grin shifted into a smirk before he tended the wounds of age with more rum straight from the bottle. He was curious to see what the new patron would order and therefore fell silent to listen intently. ]
A low feral growl was sent his way. What a way to get to her.
Her tail swished behind her, hidden by the counter she stood at. "I suppose it's better than the current title." Her retort was weak but she didn't care. She wasn't going to show him the full extent of the rise he had gotten. "Why are you so happy anyway?" Her hands came to her hips now as she spoke with an accusing tone. As if being jovial was unacceptable.
Tig laughed at his gesture, the angered growl turning to a simple purr.
She made her way back to his table, deciding if the customer ever pied up she would be there to serve her. The temptress sat and eyed the demon with her good eye, looking over the bridge of her nose. "Could have fooled me.." Her alluring voice said this in a way to mean, 'C'mon there must be something up'.
Aries smiled at the other tigress, although she was something more. Her scent wasn't fully feline, it was more. A slight grin spread across the girl's face, "4 shots of your finest vodka, when you get a chance miss." Her voice was smooth and indifferent.
Her head turned slightly taking in the other man in the room. Her eyebrow lifted slightly at the half empty bottle next to him. She turned back towards the bar her green eyes half lidded. Her right hand fished a small notebook from her pocket and a pen. The old leather creased with familiarity of years of being opened. The writing inside was in a language only Aries knew.
A soft sigh passed her lips. The pen in her hand tapped against the slightly yellowing pages. White brows furrowed, trying to figure something out.
She flashed her crystalline gaze back to the other feline and nodded, lifting herself once again from the chair and moving 'round to fetch the booze.
Four shots seemed a little hefty for the other female, but Tig let her judgments remain silent. She took down a top shelf bottle and two tall shot glasses. She poured a double into each glass and placed the bottle back before bringing them to the girl. When she set them down she noticed the notebook containing strange script and caught herself before she stared too long without saying anything. "Here you are," She said with a devilish smile before retreating back to the table.
