Kaito smiled with thanks at the woman as he lifted the glass to his lips and took a few sips. Running his finger over the rim of the glass he picked it up and dumped it onto the bar top. The water moved its self into a perfect circle as Kaito kept his eyes on the puddle of water. Bringing up his hand he began to twirl his finger slowly as the water began to spin into a vortex. As the water spun Kaito lifted his other hand and moved his wrist in a clockwise motion as he twirled his fingers turning the vortex of water into a sphere. Taking both of his hands now he began to move them in a fluid like motion over each other, making the water sphere move elegantly in his hands.

"Can I get a martini? Really dry." After a moment, Jayne added, "In fact, while you're pouring the
gin in the glass, just look at the bottle of vermouth, but don't actually touch it. That dry."

Drumming her fingers on the bar for a few seconds, Jayne looked back to the bar tender. "Do you
have any food here? Or chips? I'm starved. You see, while I was flying over here, I got stuck in a
horrendous head wind, and my trip took almost half again as long as it should have." She
scrubbed her fingers through her hair.

"That's why my hair looks like this. Normally it's not all tangled." Jayne made a disgusted face.
"And I had this seagull that just would not shut up, and he was determined to fly next to me
almost the entire way here. You would not believe how much seagulls can talk about." She
                          made an exasperated face.

"You'd think it was all fish and tides, fish and tides. Well, it is. But he just kept going on and on
and on about this other seagull that he knew. I thought I'd never get rid of him," the female
rolled her eyes and gazed around the room. Briefly, they came to rest on another patron working
                          some water into various shapes.

"Am I talking too much?" She asked as she turned back to face the bartender.

Gabriel had a habit of giving people pet names. Unfortunately, most people frowned upon that. Gabriel wasn't really sure why. It was all in good fun. Sadly, the dragon never thought to put himself in their shoes. He was a bit of a brat at times, but he was harmless. Over all, Gabriel was a good guy, always looking for a good time.
He reached out to catch his drink. Once the glass his the palm of his hand, Gabriel lifted it up to his lips. It was stronger than he expected. This woman new how to make a drink. She also knew how to make this dragon a happy man.
Fiery eyes turned to the other male at the bar. He was ordering a water? Now that wasn't very challenging, but to each their own. Gabriel had glanced away, but when he looked back he was surprised. The male was manipulating the water. How interesting. Grinning, Gabriel began to stand and slowly move closer to the stranger. He reached for the edge of the counter, leaning over the stranger. He moved in close, then let out a breath. Out from his lips came a flame. The sphere of water began to evaporate. It was steaming and had grown smaller, but it didn't disappear. "You shouldn't play with you food... Or... water." He chuckled and shrugged his shoulders.

Then the water froze solid. She could only wait to see his reaction to someone messing with his little playtime. It irked her, when people used their powers just to show off. Then again, when she'd gotten in her last bar fight, she might have won had she practiced her cryokinesis more. It'd gone from hand to hand combat, to her shooting the guy with the fort-five currently holstered on her left hip, to a battle of fire and ice. She'd almost had him. All she had to do was go arctic, but that was easier said than done when the person pinning you was reaching near sun-like temperatures. Then the other woman's voice shook her from her thoughts. "Gin in a martini glass it is." She said with a smile. "...Yeah, we got food. Thankfully, for you, before my mother left she and Carroll taught the imps how to cook." She put her fingers to her lips and one of the imps came scampering out of the kitchen carrying its miniature replica of Carroll's spoon. "Tell the imp what you want. He'll slap the counter with that spoon and it'll poof into existence."

Jayne blinked a few times in rapid succession as the blob of water went from fluid to solid in the matter of an instant. She jerked her head back to the bartender, then the imp.

"Anything? I can get anything?" The little creature nodded and waved the spoon impatiently. "Ooh, what do I want. I know I want some cheesy sticks and hot wings. Those are so good. What else?" She asked the creature. In return, it gave her a look that almost said how the hell am I supposed to know.

"Well, could I get a steak? Oh! And some mashed potatoes! Lots of them!" Jayne's stomach gurgled, and she patted it without realizing. "How about some shrimp, too. Fried shrimp. Oh yum! And clams!"

She was practically salivating now with the prospect of all the foods in the world being at her fingertips. Well, at the imp's spoon's tip.

"And a huge Greek salad with olives and feta and everything!" The woman flung her arms out to illustrate how big "huge" was. "I think that'll do me for now. Oh, wait! Wait, wait, wait! And I want some pumpkin pie!"

Before she could add anything else to her already massive meal, the imp slapped the spoon down and all the food appeared with an impressive POOF. The creature then scurried away.

"Oh yum! It all looks so good!" Jayne practically squealed before downing three quarters of her "martini" and fiercely tearing into the salad.

As Kaito continued to move the water in his hands he felt heat pass his face as a flame hit the sphere in his hands and slowly began to evaporate, but not fully. Moments later the sphere froze. Raising an eyebrow as this happened he looked over to the woman behind the bar and frowned slightly. He must have upset her. Moving his hands in a brisk yet elegant motion the ice evaporated. Looking to guy who was hovered over his shoulder he began to speak. “I wasn’t exactly playing.” Kaito stated as he turned in his seat to the man. “I was practicing.” Kaito spoke simply and softly, a slight smile turning up the corner of his mouth. Kaito’s voice was filled with childish innocence as he spoke, his words so elegant and smooth. Looking back to the woman now he nodded his head. “I didn’t mean to upset you miss.” He said in a respectful tone nodding his head once again to her.

Still hovering over the younger male, Gabriel lifted his gaze. Whatever water was left had been frozen by the woman behind the counter. He grinned and slowly relaxed back into his seat. "Cute." He said to the woman with a chuckle.
He remained seated next to the boy, hoping he could have a little fun. This boy was so polite, it irked Gabriel a little bit. Gabriel was a nice guy, but he was far from prim and proper.
The rest of Gabriel's drink went down quickly and smoothly. The glass was placed back down and Gabriel tapped the edge of the glass with his finger tip. "Y'mind filling me up?" Gabriel felt like indulging himself tonight and hopefully not with booze. He'd start with a cigarette.
Gabriel reached in his pocket for a pack of smokes. He picked out a thin cancer stick and brought it to his lips. He snapped his fingers and from it came a flame that hovered over his thumb. He lit his cigarette and immediately took a drag from it.

    [[ Sorry, got distracted @__@ ]]
Alaster slammed the door so hard behind that he could have sworn that he felt the entire house shiver underneath his feet. "Well, isn't that an odd little feature?" Alaster commented to no on in particular as he dusted the sleeves of his tailored red suit. It was obvious from the labored breaths which left his thin red lips that Alaster had been doing more then his share of running before he ran up those flight of stairs which led him into this strange home.

Alaster took a moment to let his bright pink eyes scan the place around him. As his long slender fingers ran there way through his short cropped stark white hair he began to realize that this was more then just a home it was a tavern of sorts, the type of taverns that he once had the pleasure of spending all day in. "Oy, well isn't this bizarre." Alaster commented, once again to no one in particular.

Out of nervous habit Alaster ran his fingers along the edges of his horns, of which he had two pair. One which grew out of the center of his forehead and grew up in a rather classical style and one which grew out of temples at curved forward much like those of a bull. Both were no more then a few inches long and a looked like they were made out of silver, which was indeed the case.

After a few moments of doing this Alaster let out a long sigh of relief and slowly moved his tall, slender and powerfully built frame to one of the wing back chairs that were placed near the fireplace. "This seems like a good a place as any to hide." he commented as he melted into the one of the empty seats.

"Rose doesn't like when you misuse what she gives you. If you want to play with the water, go to the baths." She pointed to the doors to her right by the stage as The draft hose and bottle of rum started to refill Gabriel's glass. Then she clapped her hands together in front of her. "Lady," She gave the other woman a nod, "And gentlemen. Formal introductions. I am Kimiko Vylos. I am the owner. I am a United States Marine Corps Sniper from the year two thousand twelve. I have killed a lot of people, and I have nearly been killed. I have seen things in this place that sometimes I wish I could unsee, and in the same respect wish I could see again... I can be, one of your best buds if you let me. However, if you disrespect Rose, I'll put a bullet between your eyes before you can blink. Stop what you're doing and close your eyes. Listen for just a second..." She held a finger up and waited for the silence to fall. When it did, and trust her, it would, you would hear the creaking and light shudders of the inn. She lowered her finger. "This in, like the rest of you, is sentient. So long as we take care of Rose, she takes care of us. Do not make a mess just to make a mess. Do not do stupid s**t. Do, however, enjoy your time here, k? We are in something, that is essentially," A fangirl nerd giggle escaped her momentarily, and she got a drink of her Jack minus coke, "A T.A.R.D.I.S... That never gets old, it really doesn't... We just aren't a police box, we're an inn." If none of them got her reference, they weren't worth the time of day in her book. "We are everywhere, and everywhen at once, and it is because of Rose, that we're able to do this, so yeah, show the old girl a little bit of respect." That long-winded Kimiko-ized version of her mother's little speech given, she brought her drink back to her lips.

POOF.

A puff of pink smoke appeared in the room, five feet in the air, and down from it came a young child. She landed on the black, leather recliner, looking startled. Oh! What a nice landing! The girl giggled, wiggling her bum into the seat.

The small girl had icy blue eyes and light pink hair. The stands came down to her waist and her bangs were cut short, sitting above her pink, almond sized eyebrows. The young child had sheep-like attributes. Just above her pointed ears were a pair of black, curled horns and started at the knee down was a cream coloured fur, ending at her feet... or rather, her hooves. The only non-sheepish thing about her was her black spaded tail, which suggested that she was of a demonic species.

The girl pushed herself off the recliner, landing on the floor with a couple of clicks. With both hooves now on the floor, she began to wander.

The child wore a baggy, white button up shirt. The sleeves were long and covered over her hands, the rest of the fabric came just below her rear and out from behind was her tail. She wore a pair of black undergarments, but they had yet to be seen due to the sweater itself. The sleeves were large as well, longer than her own arms.

Click, click, click.
Off she went, hoping to find someone to... play with.

Jayne paused in the middle of devouring her steak and listened like Kimiko said. She could almost
hear the building's heartbeat and breath. "That's so cool!" The red-head burst out in the middle of
the speech, then silenced herself with a small "sorry."

She let out a snort when the bartender and owner made a reference to the show Dr. Who. She was
never a huge fan of the show, but Jayne had seen a few episodes in her time. "Neat, so the tavern
is actually a time and space machine?" The female asked, cocking her head and nibbling on the
hunk of meat perched on her fork.

"I'm Jayne. I'm nothing fancy like a marine sniper. Just an air elemental with an endless stomach.
She is pretty though," Jayne looked around the inn briefly with admiration, and she went back to
                          nibbling on the steak.

Kaito nodded and looked to the direction she had pointed. Looking back to her as he spoke he listened and closed his eyes when asked and opened them when she finished. Looking to the man next to him he raised an eyebrow as he snapped his fingers and produced a flame. Kaito watched and smiled with interest. Kaito was young, yes this much was obvious. Kaito was very polite, that much was obvious as well, but you would be positive and polite if you were raised by monks too. Though he was still just a young boy, he was still learning. He had not been from his temple away from his family since he was born. He did not really know how to act around other people who did not possess his same up brining. But he was not one to judge, it was not his place, nor was it in his blood to do any harm to anyone without valid reason.
Demyx did his level best to shut the door quietly, he really did, but somehow the entire building seemed to quiver when he did so. The last thing he wanted was to make a big deal of his entrance...but the room seemed crowded enough that it wouldn't make much of a difference. His usual luck was holding, it seemed; this looked like a bad place to hide. The only logical place for him to go right now was right back out the door and hope no one had noticed the building shaking...one hand was already on the doorknob when he felt something tugging at his pant leg. His first instinct, when he saw what was doing the tugging, was to whack the little imp with his staff and run for it, but fear had him frozen in place just long enough to realize it wasn't a threat. Or at least, right now it wasn't. "...Could I get a shot of tequila?" he asked in a soft voice, when the imp asked if it could get him anything. "The best tequila you have available, please...because dear Gods, do I need some right now."
Being who he was, and more importantly, what he used to be Alaster did indeed listen to the owner's speech. While he had no idea what she was talking about when it came to calling the sentient home a TARDIS, he did understand the concept of what she was. He was after all a very old man, relatively speaking.

Alaster, again being the man that he was took upon himself to introduce himself, seeing as the owner had so graciously done the same. Alaster was nothing without his manners. "Thank you miss for the lovely introduction." Alaster said as he ran his fingers through his hair once more. "My name is Alaster MorningStar." he said without being prompted "And it seems that I owe your lovely friend Rose a thank you." Alaster said as he bowed his head in thanks. "I found myself in a rather nasty pickle only a few moments ago." he added.

"I too come from Earth, although I would wager that it is an alternate version of yours." he said as he pointed on lazy, clawed finer at the owner. "The year was 1940 and I called Los Angeles home. Until events there forced me to leave rather quickly." At that Alaster grew silent once more.
