Aldrik had been studying, not even realizing the things transpiring around him. He had finished his cappachino from earlier.

He almost felt bad. he had scare that poor girl Molly, even though he had told her the truth.


He saw Moo out of the corner of his eye and nodded in his direction, not really caring if Moo had seen it or not. He was a bit out of it.

He thought to himself that maybe he was getting hungry. He hadn't eaten in over a week. It made sense that he would be hungry.

Noticing the imposing-looking man in the cafe, Natalie asked Moo, "By the way, I've been meaning to ask: Who's that over there? New regular?"

Moo returned his nod. "That's Aldrik." He said simply, and left it at that.

Aldrik was immersed in the tome, studying every minuscule detail of every single page before flipping to the next one. From a far eye, you could see paintings and writings, but no words or details could be made out.

He hadn't noticed that he was being discussed. He was too busy with his work at that moment.

❖Ok Nuts! I got it all ready for ya!❖
In one arm was a tray with the burger and fries. In the other was a big glass of lemonade. Finally, balancing on her head was a tray of small pastries such as mini brownies, cupcakes and cookies.
❖I made enough burgers for about 3 people. There is a whole bottle of lemonade chilling out in the refrigerator and a secret suprise hiding in the freezer for everyone tomorrow! I also made some little snacks for you, that guy over there, and Moo so enjoy! I gotta go to sleep.❖

Lily came in from the kitchen carrying Natalie's lemonade, as well as trays laden with burgers, fries, and all sorts of dessert goodies. Everything looked so delicious!

"Thank you, Lily! Good night! Sleep well!" she said to the sleepy Lily. "Everything looks great, and I can't wait to see what the surprise is!" Natalie turned to Moo and Aldrik. "Help me eat all this, you guys!" she laughed.

@Moo: That sounds like a fun cosplay! I don't know much about Pokemon, having never seen any of the anime or played any of the games, but Chibi and Malomy keep trying to get me to play it. I actually crochet them little Pokemon dolls for Christmas and birthdays because I found a website that has patterns for a TON of them! XD

I don't really cosplay, but on those rare occasions where I get to go to cons, I usually wear my Lolita stuff. I don't own any brand things, but I make/alter stuff. yum_puddi ))

Aldrik decided now was as good a time as any. he stood and walked over to Moo. He seemed to glide, more than walk, the way he moved.

As he came up beside Moo, he spoke. "Master Moo. I would like to inquire about a room"
He hadn't slept in days and it was beginning to wear on him. "Might there be one available?"

He waited patiently, his book held under his arm, his other hand, draped over the hilt of the sword at his left side in a non-threatening way.

Between bites of her burger, Natalie observed the interaction between Aldrik and Moo. Aldrik was asking for a room, and it didn't escape Natalie's notice how Aldrik's hand was quick to go to the sword he carried, as if he were going to draw it any second. Interesting, she thought. If Aldrik rented a room here, she might be able to find out more about him and his somewhat unusual behavior...

"Sure, I'll get you a key." He said as he wearily pushed himself up. Going over to the nearby key rack, he grabbed the key to room 21 and pushed it into Aldrik's hands. "Here you go bud. I'll charge you at the end of your stay. I am wiped, I'm going to bed. Night." He said as he dragged himself up the stairs and back into his room.

Aldrik bowed gratefully as he received the key and respectfully headed to the room marked '21' as the Moo had instructed.

After casting both physical and magical barriers before relieving the burden of his sword and coat.

Seconds after laying his head down, he was swept into a deep sleep. He needed it after the passed few days.
