Holly snorted softly at his words. "Oh, isn't that how it always is." She laughed softly, before she gently trailed her fingers under his chin.

"There are still plenty of rewards if you ask for help, sweetheart." Shaking her head, she retracted her fingers to sip at her mudslide with a devious look. "So, how about doing something a little more exciting?"

Her bare toes wiggled against his thigh. "Challenge you to a Karaoke match." She motioned with her head to the stage where the machine was.

Jason grinned at her words.
"I'm always up for excitement but I don't think Kareoke falls into that category."
He trailed his fingers along her leg, starting at her ankle and moving upwards. As his hand brushed just past her knee a buzzing came from his belt. His sly expression turned aggravated at the noise as he unclipped a device from his belt.
"Damnit."
Jason got up and grabbed his coat, pulling it on with a growl.
"Sorry, but I'm going to have to take a rain check on our little stand off. Seems the scum of the city decided to rise today after all. Figures."
His last comment had a jaded tone to it as he turned back to Holly. He stepped up to her, brushing hair lightly from her shoulder.
"I'll show you excitement, next time."
He grinned and grabbed his motorcycle helmet from the stool and hurried out, pulling it on over his head as he climbed onto his motorcycle. The engine revved to a start as the back wheel kicked up dirt, the bike spinning around as he went speeding for the city.

Holly shivered softly to his touch, her lashes fluttering briefly before she chuckled at him. "Are you sure, Karaoke could be...interesting." However, when he got up, she pouted at him, watching him with an almost predatorial stare.

"Promises." She chided at him, wrinkling her nose before chuckling. She watched him go, before sighing. Her hand outstretched and the Raven flew into it, and she grasped her Scythe before shimmering from the Tavern to return to Tartaurus.

Jason stood outside of a motel complex, the entire building roaring in flames. His eyes were narrowed in an enraged stare before he finally kicked the trash can beside him in frustration.
"AH! I was so close! Damn it!"
The trash can was uprooted then thrown towards the burning building as Jason growled.
"Well, can't stay here."
His tone had finally settled some those his anger was still apparent by his clenched fists. Fire engine sirens grew close and by the time the trucks arrived, Jason was gone. He drove off into the underground, the one place he could stay and stay hidden for the most part. He pulled up out front, parking his motorcycle beside the entry and setting his helmet on the seat. Jason stepped in the door, his entire figure covered in ash and soot from the fire. Even his white waft of hair was now a gray color from the black dust.
"Hello? I was wondering if I could rent out a room."
He called out so see if the owner, Xenthara or any workers were there to assist him.

"Eyes are on the bed. Just find a room with a key on the pillow and it's all yours." Xenthara's voice came from above as the red haired neko would be laying on the rafters. She had a headphone in and was twirling the other quickly around her finger. Her long black fluffy tail unraveled from around her legs and pointed towards the stairs. Apparently she was trying for a Cheshire cat theme today. But thankfully her calm good mood was still floating about.

Jason looked up at the sound of Xenthara's voice before looking to the stairs.
"Thank you."
He stepped up to the floor of rooms, looking down the hallway of doors. Jason stepped quietly in case anyone was sleeping and finally found and empty room with the key on the pillow. He entered and shut the door behind him, dusting the ash from his shoulder before removing his coat. The man took a quick shower to wash away the soot from his hair and face, walking back out and getting dressed again after giving his clothes a good shake. Jason exited the room, locking it behind him before he descended the stairs with the key in his pants pocket.

By the time his shower was finished Xenthara would be laying on a couch with one of her long blood red feathery wings stretched out and laying along the floor. It moved some tables aside as it's feathers quivered and pulsed with energy lightly. the wing was damaged though...badly. And yet Xenthara's mood couldn't be better.

Now sitting at the bar was a woman. Her hair Lunar white and fell down to her shoulder blades. Her eyes were black with silver color and her lips were a natural shade of black to match. She wore a red and silver leather jacket that was open to show a black tank top. On her legs was a pair of black jeans with special harnesses that held knives, daggers and pouches and strapped to her belt across her backside were two hand guns. On her feet were standard black combat boots. At the moment she was simply reading from a magazine.

"Have a nice shower?" Xenthara's voice came as she lifted a hand and waved towards Jason. "Also hungry? Thirsty?" She then looked to the woman who got up and headed into the kitchen to get ready to serve.

Jason looked at the white haired woman at the counter, his interest turning to the weapons she had strapped to her. He was impressed, seeing as that he'd wear his own armory. His attention was brought away by xenthara's voice as he turned.
"Yeah, it was refreshing."
The thought of food actually made his stomach gurgle in response.
"Yeah, I could go for some food I guess."
He took a seat at the bar, trying to shake what remaining water still sat in his hair.

Xenthara gave a chuckle as his stomach growled. "Just tell Morhana what you want and she'll make it for you. She's serving for me today." She said with a slight masked grin as she covered her eyes with her arm and began to hum to herself. The rest was a more then welcomed one for her. It felt too long overdue. She let out a cat like yawn as she folded her wing up causing it to slip back into her back as she turned over onto her side.

The woman stepped out of the kitchen eating a piece of coffee cake as she waited for the man's answer. The sound of clanking metal came from behind her though she stayed perfectly still.

Jason nodded before turning forward again to face the woman named Morhana.
"Could I have some eggs and toast, please."
He heard the metal clanking but saw no source for the sound as his gaze turned questioning for a moment. He looked past her slightly to see if there was something hanging from her belt to cause such a sound or if there was a swinging item on the door. Seeing no such thing he looked back to her face and smiled lightly.

Morhana nodded her head pushing off the door frame. The cake she was eating already gone as she turned on her heels and headed back into the kitchen. She placed her plate in the sink as she began to make the man's eggs and toast. She paused though as she looked at the eggs a moment but placed the bread in the toaster. "How do you want your eggs?" Her voice smooth but husk as she looked out the door again. "Or should I just go with sunny side up or scrambled?" She questioned as she rolled her shoulders causing them to crack a bit. She sighed as she let a small black smoke out of her lips.

As the woman returned to the kitchen, Jason let his eyes wonder down her form until she returned a moment later asking about his eggs.
"Scrambled please."
As the woman cracked her shoulders, jason unintentionally rolled his own shoulders slightly, a faint grin forming on his face as he noticed his actions.

"Alright." She said as she watched him roll his shoulders. The sound of metal clanking came again before she slipped back into the kitchen and began to whip up his scrambled eggs. She caught his toast as it popped and cut it diagonally and placed it on a large plate before she added a bit of salt and pepper to the scrambled eggs and scooping them onto the plate before grabbing a fork and knife. She headed back to the bar placing the plate down before grabbing a napkin placing the fork and knife on it to the right of the plate.

"Anything to drink?" She said before she opened one of the mini fridges and took out a dark red bottle.

Jason waited as his food was being cook, running a hand through his less damp hair once more. He sat up as the plate was set before him, the man looking over the food with a satisfied expression.
"Thanks, a glass of orange juice please."
He picked up one of the sliced of toast and took a bite, taking in his favorite kind of food before starting on the eggs. His eyes trailed away from his food once more to the guns on Morhana once the woman turned around.

Morhana nodded as she reached into the fridge again taking out a pitcher of fresh orange juice. She grabbed a glass and began to pour his drink.

Morhana's guns could easily be seen as hand made and not of an earth metal. Etched into their bright silver color were strange symbols and pictures. The handle of the guns we're different. One was black and the other silver. On the black handle was a silver rose with a skull that had a heart in it's jaws though it's eyes looked to be bleeding. And on the silver was a black rose with a skull that also looked like it's eyes were bleeding but this time in the skulls mouth was a dark red gem that flickered with a black flame within it.

She turned back around and placed the glass next to his plate before she opened her bottle and grabbed a taller thin glass for herself. She poured a honey colored liquid into her glass before capping it and placing the bottle down before taking a sip. "Your'e welcome." She finally said to his thank you.
