"It looks particularly fantastic at night. All the lights glow. It's almost like a second set of stars." Barra grinned, leaning against the doorway. He had an almost identical view from his "room".

"I live up in the attic, so if you ever need any help the staircase is at the end of the hallway." Barra pointed in the general direction of the object in question. "Oh and the kitchen is open to tenants at anytime. Clochette, the owner, is usually in there if you need help cooking."

The girl's smile remained, thought she tilted her head when he mentioned other people. She hadn't heard anybody else. Still she nodded to his mention of his proximity to her room.

"It'll be good to have a friend nearby." Turning back to the window, she pondered aloud.

"Are there many other patrons here?"

"Most of them are pretty busy during the day but yes. Though we could use some more!" Barra clapped his hands together cheerfully. "Hopefully all the advertisements we sent out will draw some more patrons in."

He yawned, stretching backwards. "Do you have any questions?"

Nodding slightly, she then peered over her shoulder to look at him, eyes shimmering.

"What do you do for fun?"

"Well... I draw as you already know. I love to explore around the town; I hangout in the park nearby after work most days. I'm starting to like cooking. I suppose I'm not that interesting." Barra tilted his head. "How about you?" He moved to sit on the rug in the center of the room, tail curling up next to him.

Merida twirled one foot around the other so she faced him before taking another step to sit on the bed.

She pondered for a minute, crossing her ankles, hands in her lap and her eyes trailing the room.

"I used to cook with Mum a lot..." She began, still pondering, "And my sisters and I would play card games quite a bit as well."

"I'll have you know I'm very adept at card games." Barra grinned, leaning back and supporting his weight with his hands."You seem like the kind of person that might like exploring. You should try it sometime. Unless you're the kind of person that gets lost easily." The demon rubbed the back of his head, laughing.

"We'll have to play sometime." She said simply.

Then the girl laughed about his suggestion for her to travel.

"O'course! How do ya think I got here?" He was spot on with his assumption, Merida did love it so. It had taken quite sometime for her to convince her parents to let her go though.

"See! I knew it. You just have the look of an adventurer about you. Is this your first time out on your own or have you run around before?" Barra chuckled, smothering it with one hand. "Obviously I'm a seasoned traveler. You know, considering how long I've been alive." He forgot if he had told Merida his age yet, but it didn't really matter in the long run.
