Dante De Stephanoxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxMafia Bad a** with an Attitude

Dante left the question about what he did to the air, just shaking her head and looking back. He didn't want to talk about it. He'd just escaped from years of grueling training only to be set up as an assassin from his father. You think he enjoyed that? It was killing him. The guilt sucked. The nightmares sucked. It all sucked. He'd rather be well... behind that back, there.

Only thing was, dad would kill him if he quit now.

He sniffed and looked up at her last statement. "Saorla?" He got the accent spot on, picking up on the Irish hints. With a smile, he lifted his glass to her. "Dante De Stephano." the family name was famous, but not his name. He wasn't even really a person. What, you thought he'd give the don his real name? Hell no. Technically, he was dead.

Saorla got out another wine glass and poured herself a glass of the red wine that she'd first served him- her favorite. She pursed her lips when he avoided the second question she'd asked, though she didn't push farther. Obviously, he liked his secrets. "Dante?" She echoed, trying out the name just as he had done with hers. Saorla lifted her glass as well when he did, though she didn't tap them together. Some people were weird about germs, after all. She should know... She was one of them. "Nice to meet you~"

The fae sipped from her glass of wine once she pulled it back, enjoying the bitter taste he hadn't liked. "Will you need a place to stay tonight?" Saorla asked, noting again how the alcohol already seemed to be affecting him. He wasn't a small guy, either! Taller than her by at least a few inches, and much more muscular. Hell, she didn't even have muscles. Not toned ones anyways. But it would take a lot more alcohol than that to start affecting her. "We have several spare rooms that are right next door, if you'd like to rent for the night."

Dante bit his lip unconsciously, glancing off to the side. Spare rooms? Sleeping by the ocean? Listening to the calm rushing water as it resettled before the next current all night long? That same repetitive swish that grew addictive as-- "Sure." He cut off his thoughts there.

With a smile, he pulled out his wallet, popping it open, then handed the simple black card with the De Stephano name crossing it in silver. "You take AMEX?" He asked. His credit card. He wasn't sure how long he'd stay, but he guessed it'd be until his dad saw the charges and sent a few men over here to drag him off.

He sniffed and glanced along the alcohol racks, sipping at the mimosa all the while. He wanted to get drunk, right? "What ese is good? Besides wines?"
User Image

"Mhmm~" Saorla nodded and took the card when he handed it to her, staring over it for a moment with a bit of surprise. People could have their names engraved on these? ...Learn something new every day, she guessed. The fae scanned it through the card reader next to the register on the inside of the bar before holding it back to him, smiling a bit. She picked out the key to the first available room and handed it to him as well, its number written on the tag it was attached to. "It should be easy to find."

As for what other drinks were good, Saorla wasn't entirely sure. She knew her wines, since that was all she ever drank, and the occasional popular drink. Other than that, she really wasn't a bartender. That was Aidan's job. "I could try to make a daiquiri?" Saorla offered- it was the only thing she could think of. "Blended strawberries and rum."

Feeling; Ugh

Uriel lifted a gloved hand to block the sunlight. He grumbled to himself as he walked along the beach. Go on vacation they said, you'll like it they said...pah! This vampire was the equivalent of Ebenezer Scrooge...well...minus the fact that he could care less about money and that it wasn't Christmas. He shook his mane of hair irritably. At least the sun was going down and he didn't have to sweat to death forever. He'd spent enough time wandering around, it was time to get a room and drink. Since they'd forced him to go on vacation, he mine as well attempt to enjoy it. The sounds of the squawking birds and the lapping of water didn't really help to sooth his mood, as he walked away from the beach and towards the building. He'd be back later to roam the beach once he was a bit calmer.

Dessa walked up to the tavern on the beach. I suppose this would be it,she thought to herself. A few days ago, Dessa had filled out an application for the tavern, seeing it needed a new chef. She walked in the front door and noticed what looked like a barmaid and a customer at the bar together.Excuse me? I applied for a job here. . . could somebody please help me out?She asked, interrupting the two.

Dante pulled his hand back the first moment he could. He just didn't. Like. Women. Pursing his lips again, he looked down, trying to think of something. He knew drinks; he just didn't know what tasted like what. finishing of the Mimosa, he licked his lips, looking over it. "Mmmh... how about a shot of something? those are popular, right?" He asked, giving her a smile.

And then something really annoying happened. There were one too many v****a in the room. A moment ago, he was even on the standings. One man to one woman. But now... now he was out numbered. He immediately went silent, dropping his gaze and tapping his fingers on the counter.

Why so quiet, everybody? Dessa asked with a little smile. She walked over to where the strangely quiet man was sitting, and sat down on the barstool next to him, enjoying watching him act uncomfortably. What's your name? She asked in the most polite tone she could muster.

Uriel opened the door and immediately took in his surroundings. There was a bar, "Cha-ching!" two women and a taller "I hate being short..." male who seemed to be rather uncomfortable. He raised an eyebrow in curiosity and strolled over to the others. "Can I get a glass of vodka on the rocks with a splash of pineapple juice? While you're at it, throw in one of those cute little umbrellas." He plopped himself down next to the uneasy looking man. Hey, maybe he'd be eating dinner a little early tonight.

Dessa sucked in her breath in an attempt to make herself look skinnier and her breasts look larger. And who exactly are you? She questioned the newcomer, surprised by her unusual lack of shyness and now a feeling of superiority at being able to question this handsome young stranger.

As the sun hit her face Melody found herself walking thorugh the sand barefoot, her sandals in her hand swaying to the natural rhythm she had created. Her dark green eyes peek up under her lashes to find a nice place to retreat from the sun and refresh herself. A drink. The tan woman enters into the establishment and blinks to adjust her eyes before stepping to the side to avoid anyone else coming and going. With her free hand she leans against the wall and bends slighty to place her shoes back on her feet. With each one placed on she taps her foot on the floor to ensure they were tight enough then stands upright to gaze more attentively at her surroundings.

"A shot? Are you sure you can handle that...?" He didn't even like the wine that she had served him, and that was pretty weak in terms of alcoholic content. But if he wanted to try, she wouldn't stop him. A paying customer was a paying customer, after all. Saorla set down her own glass of wine to get a small shot glass out, pouring it nearly full with vodka. The sound of the door opening caught her attention while she set the vodka bottle down, and as she placed the shot glass on the counter in front of Dante, her eyes met the blonde woman who'd walked in.

"Great timing!" She chirped, lifting her hand in a wave. Saorla remembered seeing her application, and the girl had seemed friendly enough. "What do you need help with?" The fae was grinning now- she'd enjoyed having a quiet night originally, but she had always preferred being in groups and found it nice to be surrounded by even a small group of people.

So when two others showed up- another man, dark haired, and a woman with equally dark hair- she seemed much more in her element. "Hello!" Saorla greeted pleasantly, nodding at the second man's request. The vodka was already out, so she poured it into another shot glass, adding a little pineapple juice to it. She even had one of the little umbrellas, and after tossing it in, she set it down with a little smirk. "Is there anything you'd like?" Saorla asked the woman next, glancing her way.

Leaning forward, Uriel's piercing green eyes stared the girl down. "A patron. I didn't know I had to give you my social security number and all my information before I could get something to drink." He rolled his eyes after his sarcastic comment and shook his head in disbelief.

Dammit! she sat next to him! Dante shut his eyes, trying to push her out of his mind. You dont just sit next to a person! Do you...? Well, in Italy, no one sat next to him unless they were damned well his friend. He rubbed his forehead, sighing deeply. He was so tempted to bite her head off with a 'none of your business', but instead finally glanced to her--

Blond curls... white dress... Not fair.

He went dead silent, a sad fear twitching in his eyes. Finally, though, something graced his ears. The low rumbling of a male charcter. Whom she immediately flirted at. s**t... and they were sitting on either side of him. Wasn't he the popular one today? "That shot..." He murmured.

The man's snip at the woman and the way he shot her down-- s**t. Now that was a way to get them to shut up. He blinked, staring at the glass Saorla laid down for him. He just stayed silent, taking back the shot without another-- GHRRK!

He swallowed it, then dropped his head to the counter, looking like he was about ready to keel over. "God..." That was disgusting..

When her vision adjusted to the dimmer lighting of the indoors she took note of the blonde woman who was apparently giving some sass to a dark hair man, which made her smile a little, then she noticed a fae who had spoken to her. Giving a casual glance to the other male in the room she heads to the bar as she chews on her lip ring. When she was close enough to the female that had offered to take care of her needs she smiles at her.

"A small glass of water and a glass of merlot shall do for me."

Another side long at the last male she had peeked at and she began to wonder. He carried himself almost the same way the men in the mafia did. Almost. Blinking she looks back to the fae and waits. Mel didn't want to cause undue attention to herself, she was pretty sure she was breaking a rule by leaving the estate property to go sight seeing.
