Blizz watched Lori walk off with a small smile, though he found that he had a sudden urge to lay back down and go to sleep as soon as she exited the room. Still recovering from the weekend, I suppose he thought to himself as he picked his wary body up off the bed, stretching out so much that his tail stood straight out behind him.

With a final, sleepy sigh, Blizz too made his way down into the bar below, instantly heading towards the refrigerator behind the bar. Sadly, he had to choke down a gag at the sight of the alcohol contained within, a small remnant of his party this weekend. Grabbing a root beer and leaning up against the nearby counter, Blizz decided that this particular substance would be as close as he'd come to any type of booze from now till he died, and as he took a sip of the sweet soda, he couldn't help but feel he made the correct choice.

Adien waved to hi to the two and smiled, "Morning you two."

Blizz took a small sip of his root beer, then smiled at Adien, setting the bottle down on the table in front of him.

"Morning Adien!"
he said, glad to finally be talking to his friend after what had seemed like weeks without seeing each other. "So, how's life been?"

He smiled, "Not bad, you haven't seen a lady in white walking around have you?"

Blizz mulled the question over in his head for a few seconds, trying to remember if he'd seen anyone fitting Adien's description.

"No, I'm afraid I haven't," he finally responded, shaking his head slightly as he spoke. "I take it you're looking for someone fitting that description, then?"

Adien sighed, "Yes, my mother. She left a day ago, I was wondering if you had seen her."

Blizz tilted his head slightly to one side, his ears jutting out at odd angles. Though he'd never really thought of it before, he supposed that his friend had to have a mother, but Blizz rarely ever thought he'd get to meet her.

"I'll keep a look out for her, Adien. I'm sure she'll turn up some time."

Lorienna watched Blizz for a moment, and then she grabbed herself a bottle of water since she hadn’t been in the mood for any other type of drink lately. She leaned against the counter, watching him and Aiden talk, and she smiled, taking a sip, then she sat the bottle down and glanced around the room. It was awfully empty, and she hadn’t seen anyone around since the day that one man had come in. Yeah, that was about a week ago.

Blizz took a sip of his root beer, his eye absentmindedly casting its gaze around the room. The place was empty for the most part, and Blizz couldn't truly remember the last time someone new had entered the bar. As much as this relieved his ever present fears of meeting new people, he couldn't help but think that some new blood would spice the bar up a bit.

With a sigh, Blizz turned his eye toward Lorienna, finding that she too looked to be thinking along the same lines as he was. "You look a bit...bored, Lori," he commented, smiling to show that it was more of an observation than anything else.

Lorienna had been staring at a single spot on the floor for what seemed like a long time now, and she eventually lost interest in everything else and started to space out, without even knowing that that was what she was doing. When she heard Blizz speak though, she managed to shudder only a little before casting her green eyes towards him and smiling, with a shrug. “I guess. I’m not… bored, per say… just… thinking.” She said, with a nod. her ears then stuck out at odd angles, a habit she had picked up from Blizz recently.

Blizz couldn't help but feel that something about Lori looked very familiar at that moment in time, though he couldn't quite put his finger on what it was. It was almost the same feeling he got when he looked into a mirror, but the mere notion of that was enough to dispel the thought from Blizz's head.

"Well, what are you thinking about?"
he asked her, his curiosity compelling him to do so.

”We’re… a lot alike. Don’t you think it’s a bit scary?” Lorienna started, looking very concentrated, “I mean, we’re both part of a set of twins, we both lost someone very close to us, we’re both part fox… we were secluded in our homes for so many years. Isn’t that strange?” she asked, basically revising the question she had asked before. Her ears stood straight up again. She didn’t realize it sometimes, but her ears did weird things without her knowing, as did her tail, whish was just hanging there at the moment, the tip of it brushing the floor.

“Anyway, I was thinking of getting a hair cut. What do you think?” She asked, completely changing the subject when she felt some of her hair tickle the back of her knees, a very ticklish spot on her body. It was also something that made her realize that her hair was too long.

Blizz felt his ears perking up a bit, and his tail gently swayed in the air behind him. "Yeah, it does seem a bit odd, doesn't it?" he asked, a small smile reflecting on his face. Honestly, it was one of the things that attracted Blizz to Lori. He'd always thought that no one else in the world would ever be able to understand him because of his upbringing, but here before him stood someone who'd gone through a childhood that was very similar to his own. As sad as it was for both of them, it felt good to be with someone that knew your situation without having to be told about it.

When Lori spoke about her hair, Blizz let his eye travel up and down her body, taking a rare chance to fully take his girlfriends body in, and one that would only become rarer now that she was pregnant. "I dunno, how short do you want it to be?" he asked her eventually, making sure to establish eye contact before he spoke.

Lorienna shrugged. “I dunno, maybe to here?” She pointed to the space just below her right shoulder, then let her eyes glance down, just to make sure that it was a suitable length. With a smile, she nodded at Blizz. “Yeah, that seems good. All this hair gets in my way- has my hair ever gotten in your way before? Because… you know, you could’ve said something. I know it’s too long.” She said as she twilred a strand of her hair on her fingers, locking eyes with Blizz's eye.

Blizz's ears laid back a bit on his head, his mind remembering a certain night only weeks before. Lori's hair hadn't gotten in the way then, and it really hadn't been much of a problem before of after that either. It was actually somewhat hard for Blizz to imagine Lori without her long hair, but if this was something she wanted, he really didn't have any room to interfere.

"No, it's never been a problem before...,"
he stated, his tail gently swaying in the air behind him. "But if you want a hair cut, I'll be behind you all the way."
