Shawnie turned away from the two and tapping her fingernails on the table waiting for Adien to come.
((Stupid dialup -_-'))

His head tilted to one side, more than a little confused. "Embarrassed? Why would you be embarrassed?" He smiled at her, trying to show that there was nothing to be embarrassed about.

An idea popped into his head, a rare thing indeed. But he didn't take any time to question it. "I know! Here, I'll make you something." He smiled at her, then clamped his hands out in front of him. He closed his eyes and chanted a few small words, then opened his hands, revealing the small ice flower that rested there.

Eyes open and face smiling, he gently placed the flower into Lorienna's hair. "There you go! And don't worry about it melting or anything, they don't disappear unless I order them too."

"I was embarrassed because I had my hand over your hand and-" She stopped mid-sentence when she saw him start to make something with his hands. A flower. An ice flower? Well, that was certainly beautiful. When he placed it in her hair, she smiled, the blush coming back to her cheeks. After he had finished placing it in his hair, she nervously ran her fingers through ehr bangs, then swept them aside, to rest behind her ear. It made it easier to see.

"Thank you."

She then saw Shawnie turn away. Must've been thinking about Aiden... Lorienna almost laughed, since she knew about the two of them during her spying last night.

Shawnie looked over at her. "You know don't you?" She said softly.

"No problem!" He said, leaning back into his chair. Somehow, all of his fear had disappeared...not that he'd even taken the time to notice it. He smiled and closed his eyes, his ears perking apart at an odd angle.

"You know, I've gotten used to you, Lorienna...I'm glad you introduced yourself. I mean, it's not like I would've ever been able to do it myself, what with the crippling fear and all."
He added, smiling as he scratched behind his ears.

"I do know. The way you blush when you hear his name, or see him. It's obvious, hun, and it's really cute... every girl gets like that with a guy that they really like, and you two go very well together." Lorienna said to Shawnie, smiling. "I hope he gets here soon... seems like you need your daily dose of Aiden."

It had only been an hour or so, and Blizz was already used to her. Smiling, she nodded, though he couldn't see it through close eyes. "I feel the same way about you..." then she stood up and went to stand behind him, scratching his ear where he was doing so, "Let me get that for you, mmkay? I have this problem a lot, myself. Itchy ears."

"But how did you find... were you... uh spying?" Shawnie asked confused.

Blizz's eyes widened for a few seconds, surprised by Loriennas sudden scratching. But it didn't take him long to start enjoying it. A sort of stupid smile spread across his face, and he felt his leg start to shake a bit. It was like someone was electrocuting him, but it felt much better than that.

"T-thank y-you..." Was all he could manage to say, his mind lost in the enjoyment.

"No, no... not spying, I just knew from the way you acted around him at the old bar, that's all." Lorienna merely shrugged, but kept going with the scratching of Blizz's ear, "I just- I get really happy, knowing that other people have a chance at love, or something like that. I might envy you for being so lucky to have found a great guy like Aiden, but I'm happy for you... I hope things work out for the both of you." Then she directed all of her attention Blizz, smiling.

"No problem." Lorienna continued to scratch his ear for him, then she leaned over, resting her chin on his shoulder, "I'm not making you uncomfortable by being this close, am I? I'll stop..."

Rivers sat on a bar stool. "Damn this hangover." she said to herself, as she rubbed her neck again. Grabbing the necklace around her neck she sat there thinking about what would happen today.

Shawnie shrugged her shoulders and let out a sigh. "Alright I guess it was obveous."

Snapping out of his trance, he looked sideways at Lorienna, smiling. "Nahh, not really. I mean, why would I be? You're just close to me, is all." He lightly flicked one of his ears so that it bopped her forehead, laughing a bit as he did so.

Shawnie felt something outside coming and she quickly grabbed her sword and went outside to see what was going on outside.

"It's okay, Shawnie. You should be happy, like I said."

That's when she fetl something furry hit her in the head.

"Hey, you!" Lorienna stopped scracthing and walked around Blizz, making sure to hit him right on the chin with her tail as she walked past him. "No more ear scratchin' for you from me!" She protested, crossing her arms over her chest, in a mock-anger manner. Looking over her shoulder, she waited to see his reaction, a frown etched on to her face, as well as her eyes narrowed and eyebrows slanted inward, though on this inside, she was laughing uncontrolably.

I would die in ecstasy.
But, I'll be a bag of bones
Driving down the road alone."

Blizz's eyes grew wide as Lorienna turned away, too numb to even feel her tail brush against his chin. "L-Lorienna, wait! I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that!" He said as he got off his seat, his ears pinned back against his head.

He stood in front of her, ashamed of what he'd done. He grabbed his arm with his hand and bit his lower lip, then spoke, fear etching his words. "I-I won't do it again, I promise! Please...don't take away the ear scratches..."
