With a soft sih his shoulders relaxed. All around he relaxed a bit more. Getting comfortable again and feeling ok here. "I was trying to stop her. Since nobody else got hurt, it worked too." She was worried? Hm...he couldnt help but smile at that. Someone worried over him. "You didnt cry did you?" While he was grateful for her worry he didnt want to cause any tears that may have been there.

"I did, but don't worry. I told you I'm easily hurt and get scare and blah blah blah..." Lorienna dismissed it with the wave of her hand, then she went back to sipping the water she had gotten for herself earlier.

Shawnie just sat there not really trying to listen to what was going on around her. She was more worried about if something were to go down that night or any other night.

The Perfect Denial

With a soft sih his shoulders relaxed. All around he relaxed a bit more. Getting comfortable again and feeling ok here. "I was trying to stop her. Since nobody else got hurt, it worked too." She was worried? Hm...he couldnt help but smile at that. Someone worried over him. "You didnt cry did you?" While he was grateful for her worry he didnt want to cause any tears that may have been there.

"I did, but don't worry. I told you I'm easily hurt and get scare and blah blah blah..." Lorienna dismissed it with the wave of her hand, then she went back to sipping the water she had gotten for herself earlier.

He felt guilty for it as he rubbed his head. "I'm sorry. I know." He walked over to her and put an arm around her in a hug. It was the least he could do for having her worry so much and for him causing it. "I'm glad you're ok though."

"It's okay, really-" Before she could finish, he was already hugging her. Hugging him back, she closed her eyes an smiled, resting against him. "I knew you only did it to make sure the rest of us would be safe." Afterall, he did make sure that she was okay before anything even happened, when she was cowering like a baby near the bar last night.

Shawnie closed her eyes and leaned back in her chair. Her ears twitching to the noise around the room and some of the outside.

"I was gonna come up to see you but I didnt know that the little brawl would take that long." He admitted, holding the hug for a few more moments. "I'm glad you're ok though. I should've went up to you earlier." He did regret not doing it. The girl probably wouldnt have found the money anyway. Dumb decision is all.

Lorienna was glad that he held the hug. Even though she was sitting, and he was standing, she felt really comfortable in his arms, much like how comfortable she felt lying against him when he was carrying her on his back yesterday... which, unfortunately for her, didn't last long enough. "It's okay, really, it is. Don't think about it anymore." She pulled away, but kept her arms around him, so that she was able to look at him.

"You're not hurt, are you?"

"I cant help it. I think about things I care about." Things he cared about. Yeah. He moved his arm from around her and sat down beside her, staying close but giving her space as well. He was happy that she wasnt angry with him for fighting like most he knew might've been. He liked this much more. "No, I'm not hurt. I'm alright, Lo." He was smiling at her now, didnt know she would worry this much in such a short time but he did like it. Not making her worry at all, but worry comes from somewhere.

Lorienna almost laughed out loud when she heard him say 'Lo', he had said it yesterday, but she hadn't really caught on since he didn't say her name much to begin with. "So, is Lo like... a nickname for me, or something?" Lorienna smiled, taking her arms from around him, but staying close as well. She liked being this way. "Is Lorienna too much for you? Imagine how hard a time I had trying to spell that my first day of school! I wasn't exactly as swift as I am now..." She started to blush slightly.

"Not at all." He replied with a smile up at her. "However if I forgot your name, I'd feel really bad. Lo is short...two letters...easy to remember. I can call you by your full name if you prefer though." He hadnt really noticed that he'd replaced her full name with a shorter version. But now that she pointed it out he did. "That'd be a fun name...'Anyone who can spell Lorienna's name gets an automatic pass from kindergarten.'" The blush made him smile more as he teased her. All in good fun.

"I remember sounding my name out once, out loud, all the other kids laughed at me. It's not like it's my fault..." Lorienna sighed, starting to take this a bit serious, but she did have a slight smile on her face. Well, now it was time for some randomness. Things were getting a bit boring and she had a lot on her mind, after all her spying last night and whatnot.

"So, Rev, are you... interested in someone right now? Got a lover?" She leaned closer to him, narrowing her eyes as if trying to read his mind. Yes, random questions of the day. Her spying last night had led her to know that last night seemed like a full out love-fest in the new bar. Aiden and Shawnie, that one woman... Air, she beleived, and the strange man who had come in earlier.

Wow. That was straight forward. Random. And it made him smile sheepishly. "I think so. At another place. Uh...it hasnt been announced or anything, but its a mutual feeling." She seemed to rather like this question and with his playful nature returned, he questioned her. "And what about you, Lorienna? Got a lover I should know about?" Now that he was thinking about it, the other moment everyone seemed to confess feelings for one another. He heard it when he came in. New place. Guess why not?

Lorienna sat back on the stool, not completely shocked or anything, but she was a little surprised. Sighing, she shook her head. Not everyone was so lucky. "Nope, not now, never will, I guess I'm... perpetually single?" Well, someone had an interest in her, at another place, but nothing more was made of thier friendship aftre sharing one kiss. It seemed they were both more comfortable being friends than anything else, so Lorienna didn't consider anything to be going on between them.
