Welcome to Gaia! ::

"Lady Eirwyn...," Remora played with the name on her lips. "Lady Eirwyn...," she repeated, only to be brought out of her reverie by Ciserio's true appearance. She'd never seen anything like him before in her life, but it bore a likeness to her favorite toy after it fell in a vat of red wine.
"What in tha'heck are ye, little thing?"
Ciserio smiled a face-splitting smile and leaned in conspiratorially. "I'm an imp," he whispered, with one hand beside his mouth to cup the sound and cover his lip movements. Then he sat back and looked smug, as though he expected the woman to be amazed now that she knew his true nature.

Eirwyn finished drawing and writing and slid the parchment over to Remora. There was a rudimentary sort of map of a forest outside of the city Solistone, and very precise and specific (to the point of almost being obsessive) directions to the tower that lay within the forest.
"The 'eck is an imp?!" Remora asked. "I thought imps were 'em small children, like." she said, exasperated before receiving the written directions. Her bright green eyes reluctantly veered away from the new creature to the directions to Solistone.
"Mmm...." she hummed, pursing her lips together. Directions, her sworn enemy.... She'd have to keep the map close, for all the details would soon jumble in the poor woman's head.
Ciserio looked shocked. "Y'mean you don't know? Imps are demons, lady, and a fine spessymen of 'em indeed." He puffed out his chest and sat up straighter in his chair, correcting his posture. "Wizards 'n the like use us for errands and thin's."

Eirwyn ignored the imp and looked at Remora. "Any questions?" She had thought about bringing up the chance for revenge, but the warrior had acquiesced so quickly to the idea of working for her, Eirwyn seemed to have no need- so she would save it for later as a sort of 'bonus' or in case she needed to persuade Remora.
"Ye can't have m'soul, like." Remora announced, frowning at the small demon with a childish puff of cheek. The expression was almost laughable on the fully grown, powerfully-built woman.
"And, M'lady... are there any others in tha' place ta' which I go?"
The imp let out a wild cackle of a laugh and swung, nearly toppling out of his chair. "Ha, if only I had that kin' of power! Imps can't take souls."

Eirwyn shook her head. "At the moment, it's only being populated by demonic servants. I assure you they will let you be. I'm still recruiting. If you know anyone, I'd like to know about them, but don't tell them about me unless I say so- I'm very picky."
The woman looked uneasy at the thought of living only with demons, but soon got over the idea. It was for her lady, after all. And, in response to Eirwyn's question pertaining to Remora's connections, Remora couldn't help but chuckle.
"All of em' that I know are foreign, like. They wouldn't be keen on leavin' the island...,"
"All right," Eirwyn said, letting the matter drop. She did better finding people herself than going by recommendations, anyway. Like she had said, she was extremely picky.

"That is all for now," she said. "Unless you would like me to take you to the encampment and show you around?"
Remora waved off the assistance with an abused gauntlet.
"I'll be on m'way soon. But... if y'don't mind, maybe y'could check to make sure I reached the destination in a week r'so?"
"Certainly." Eirwyn would likely have done it anyway. "If you need to speak to me again, you can always come here and see Ciserio."

"If that is truly all you wanted to know, I will leave now," Eirwyn said, standing and gathering her staff.
"I'll see you again soon, M'lady." Remora announced, bowing before dropping her last gold coin as a tip and making her leave.
"I think... this will be fun."
