she watched as the sun, in all of its glory, lifted up above the lands and brought daylight onto the quaint town of Barton, she had never left Satan’s room. Her sister coming had told her a message, one that she must encounter alone - her eyes, full of water yet never seeming to break into tears watched Satan sleep, she wasn’t running out, oh he mustn’t take it like that. She needed to self-encounter her life, she was mortal and what did mortality mean to her? Nothing. If she could not live a normal mortal life, then she must lead an adventurous immortal one. An opportunity arose, one she mustn’t pass. One which could shape her future for the ages, her stuff had been packed, nothing more than a small, empty bare back-pack. Empty and bare, it was as she decided to leave her stuff at her true home, she would never forget the place which managed to let her live with all of her emotions. Where she met many,
many great friends and even lovers…
Satan…
Oh, she was sorry. Beyond anything she could have ever been but he deserved someone who could care to him, she felt trapped in, enclosed staying here, she needed to, as it were
spread her wings.
One solid tear slowly fell down her cheek as she knelt beside Satan, breathing quietly and hoping he wouldn’t wake up. Just one last kiss… she planted a soft kiss onto his cheek, another tear landing onto Satan’s face before she stood up, no note, no trace she had gone. Even her stuff remained in place, except her money. If one were to check her money, they would know she had fled. She just couldn’t live mortal, it all seemed to pressurizing, death came to the doorstep every day, it was like a whole utter different world - she missed her reign.
Her own life, her own paths, all available. Did it matter? She never wanted to leave Satan but recent events made her mind think otherwise, he held her heart, still. But, she just couldn’t. She didn’t know how he’d react to it, finding the bed empty, finding her gone but the choices were chosen and soon she would be gone, nothing but memories in the old sin café, nothing but old faint memories…
No, she couldn’t leave him with no knowing… she had felt that pain long ago and knew it was something best not to endure. She felt for her fingers, finding her silver ring, old ancient, the detailing and patterns that they did not do anymore, it was one of a kind her great grandmother had made for her when she was only four years of age, after that Eliza had enchanted a spell on it to protect her from the rays of the sun but as she placed it beside Satan’s head on the pillow - it now belonged to him. It was a part of her she could leave with him forever, to show she still cared and did still love, but to show that she was not dead. It had more meaning than what Satan would ever know, but she had to leave some part of her back with him, some part of her to stay beside him forever.
Oh Satan…
What can be is different to what could be, whatever his future will hold, whatever his life will encounter, will she ever be a part of it again? She loved him, more than anyone had managed to touch her soul before but now, their times had come to an end and in those silent minutes, she knew that her heart would never love the same that it had but so many things she had to take care of, her own life just wouldn’t let her stop, rest and have a family of her own. That wasn’t her.
“Hush, my love. Stay asleep for sometime, I will be gone when you awaken but never forget that I loved you… I love you, I will never forget.” she had to hold her breath, stop her tears from out bursting, she was strong and little things such as this shouldn’t be getting in the way but these little things were never so simple, or never so little,
“Goodbye, my love. May you have a pleasant life… I love you…” she bit on the bottom of her lip, and stroke back a piece of his hair behind his ear, her last touch of Satan, her last moment which he would never known to have existed. And yet, the world still went on and life just had to continue…
She left the café at a steady speed, this would be the last sunrise she would awaken to, for once again she will roam the night soon,
goodbye… my darling… Live long and stay strong… may our paths never cross again… They were just destined to meet halfway and halfway only, her life was too strong and heavy to let those loved and cherished get injured because of bad-news one could always bring… This was her life now…
Destined to walk the world alone… Forever.
’Her heart can now, never break…’
