The creature of only vaguely humanoid appearance, covered in a motley coat of mixed black fur and feathers, with ears almost humorously large on its head and eyes so pale grey they nearly glowed against the background of his otherwise dark features, had taken up part time residence in the now abandoned two-legger abode. It spent the vast majority of its time outside, but frequently enough could be found sneaking about inside, though usually there was little or no trace left behind to tell of its visits. Cobwebs and dust held no attention for the creature and went undisturbed. It just so happened that today, of all days, the creature had sought shelter indoors from a biting wind that just made keeping warm more difficult than the creature liked.
It was exploring behind the bar when it noticed a subtle shift in the ambient light, in the hue of the colors around the room. Wary, but curious, the creature pulled itself up on its hind-feet with the use of its very hand-like five-fingered (no thumbs) fore-paws on the counter. Ears flipped back, laying flat against its skull, and every hair and feather flattened as tight back against its body as possible, the creature watched. It watched, peaking over the bar, mesmerized by the light, as a fine tingling sensation began in its talons and 'fingers.' Its ears began to buzz and little spots started to pop in and out of the creatures vision. Then there was a sound! A two legger sound! With the quiet click of claws, and only slightly louder clink of the metal rings around its 'wrists,' the creature dropped back down behind the bar. Uncertain how to proceed, the creature crept to the end of the bar to peer over at the two-legger from a less conspicuous position.
