GREETINGS !

Welcome to Coven in Tokyo, Japan! If you’ve already gotten past our eagle-eyed bouncer at the entrance then chances are you’re one of us. That’s right, a supernatural being, or a human with magical capacity. ( If you’re not then I’m afraid you’ll have to leave … uh … this place has been reserved for a ‘private function’ and we wouldn’t want to cause a scene. )

Now that technology has advanced so much, it has become rather difficult to find a good place to kick up our talons and relax with social company. You’ll find that we have friendly hosts and hostesses who are here to provide entertainment and comfort (of the respectable kind of course).

Our beverages and cuisine are of exceptional quality and variety, and the club also provides a pool table, a stage for performance and karaoke, and cable TV. Unfortunately there are no private rooms, but we do have some booths which offer a bit more privacy for those who prefer a quieter evening.

Please keep in mind that by entering this establishment you have agreed to our rules and conditions.

CLUB RULES & FAQ !

⒈ All customers and staff are required to keep the establishment's true nature a secret from ignorant humans. The club's existence and location should only be shared with trustworthy supernaturals.

⒉ There is an entrance fee of ¥4710 (Japanese yen), the equivalent of 40 U.S. dollars. Other charges such as for food and beverages including alcohol, and for requesting a specific host or hostess will be added to the bill by the end of a customer's visit for the evening.

⒊ Any persons exhibiting overly-rowdy and disturbing behavior will be forcibly removed from the club's grounds. The use of powers is to be limited. Fighting and violence are strictly prohibited.

⒋ Staff receiving tips or gifts from customers are required to declare these to the establishment's management. Keep in mind that the club is not an escort service so any extra side-jobs taken on by the staff are beyond the club's control and are not considered the owner's responsibility.

⒌ No soliciting on the establishment's grounds.

⒍ Club hours are as follows:
Tuesday to Saturday - 5:30 PM to 1:30 AM; Sunday and Monday - Closed

⒎ Coven first opened its doors on December 14, 2009.

ROLEPLAY RULES !

⒈ Adhere to the Gaia TOS.

⒉ Aim for two full paragraphs or higher every post. Although quality is more appreciated than just quantity alone.

⒊ Your reserve and subsequent profile WILL be subject to scrutiny, and ultimately may not be accepted for various reasons, such as there being issues with style of writing (tense, grammar ect.), personality and biography sections especially, a character being over powered ect. However, it is possible I will simply ask you to edit areas that could be fixed.

⒋ It will be expected that you post at least once a week. If you're going to be away for more than that, notify me in a pm. If you want to drop the rp, please let us know that as well.

⒌ Up to two roles per rper.

⒍ Please be sure to include in your posts: character name, character role and an anime picture of your character. Nothing too large, though be as elaborate with the decoration of your post as you like. However do consider the colors and font sizes that are used, so that reading is not harsh on anyone's eyes.

⒎ When sending reserves to me, title the PM with the role you desire. There is no profiles thread, so fill out the code in a test thread and send me the link to the thread when you're done. Finished profiles are linked to reserve images of the character they belong to.

⒏ Drama and romance are very highly encouraged, however NO cybering, and keep it PG-16. Time skip if necessary. Additionally, not sure if there will be much violence at all in this role play but if it happens to occur, then nothing too graphic please.

⒐ Do not make your character/s op with their abilities.

⒑ Be courteous to one another. No bullies or anyone acting high and mighty here.

COVEN SETTINGS !

Upstairs from the club are suite rooms available for Coven staff to stay in; however, due to limited space, they are expected to share with their colleagues. They are divided based on gender.

Each suite has a private bathroom and everyone gets a bedroom all to themselves. There is one kitchen for all the staff on the same level as the suites, as well as a large living room.

INFO FOR STAFF !

STAFF GUIDELINES:

Waiters and waitresses should divide tables and booths between themselves.

Carrying romantic and/or physically intimate relationships with customers is discouraged. Staff should not feel forced into relationships or into doing special favors.

STAFF DRESS CODE:

Waiters and waitresses are required to wear an apron, along with appropriate attire. Hosts and hostesses as well as the bartender must also adhere to the dress code by wearing semi-formal/formal clothing.

STAFF BENEFITS:

O1.Cleaning services are in place for club floors and windows, and restroom facilities. Staff are not expected to maintain these themselves.

O2. Staff vacation time is flexible in that it can be taken at any time of year if no large event is coming up. This type of vacation can last for up to a week. There is also permanent annual vacation time which takes place in July. The duration of this vacation is three weeks.

O3. There is a staff dinner once every month, though attendance is optional and not mandatory.

CURRENT EVENT: 1930's themed party!

Bring your molls and leave the kids at home. It's gonna ring-a-ding-ding at the wingding in Coven tonight. The canaries are gonna sing and the cats will dance. So get up, come on over and let us pour you a glass.

Tonight is one of Coven's theme nights, and this time the theme is the 1930's. Staff are expected to dress the part, and customers may choose to do so as well. Big band, swing and jazz music will be playing for the evening. Framed pictures of 1930's Hollywood stars and starlets are hanging on the walls, and the club's interior has been set up to look like a speakeasy, with velvet, crystal and art deco all part of the design.

Potato chips, cheese puffs and popcorn in individual bags can be ordered for free. Other items on the menu just for tonight are: cheesesteaks, scrambled egg sandwiches, creamy rice pudding, peanut butter and entire wheat bread sandwiches, ginger bread with whipped cream, fried potato cakes.
