12-23-09: Thanks to a wonderful gift from the snow fairy Aoi, it is now snowing within the tavern, but don't despair, it seems to be enchanted to not make a mess and it still seems to be plenty enough warm inside.
12-01-09: Lilith's is decorated for Christmas! The tree is up, lights are strung and tinsel is making quite the mess. The pool tables have been temporarily removed to make room for the tree, but they will be back after the holidays.

One will always find a safe haven here.
The light is low and as you enter, you see a large room with high wooden rafters and customers laughing among themselves. Scattered around are various comfortable couches and lounging chairs interspersed with tables and chairs, enough to accommodate a larger party, yet comfortable for a few close friends to gather for the night. On the right, there is a large wooden bar, scarred from time with many bar stools lined in front. Along the back wall, you see a few doors, one of which leads to a spa area and another to storage. The others? Who knows, perhaps the owner will tell you one day. Make sure to check up above your head for a strange looking teen, who often rests or performs acrobatics among the rafters.
Also along the back wall and to the left is a large staircase leading to the guest rooms in the floors above. Directly to your left, along the left wall and nearly in the front corner, there is a door leading out to a large garden, enchanted to stay green and beautiful all year long.
Opposite from the bar, across the way, there is a fireplace that often has a warming fire and conversations going about it. Scattered about, there is all the entertainment you need in pool tables, karaoke, and dartboards.
Many have come and gone and those that have just moved onto other things that we still love dearly. If you perhaps have a ken to wander, the lake is but a bit away, through the forest. The path is well worn and it should be easy to find.
This thread is a continuation of one that was created for the Halloween 2008 event in the Vampire Base forums.

RP Rules:
1. We are a very very casual RP, mostly those that love to chat as their characters and spend their nights in a warm tavern and inn. No profile is needed!
2. Regarding Quote Towers: Sometimes they are easier to organize a conversation, but please, no more than six quotes in a post. Too many gets to be too confusing, stretches pages and makes Gaia mad.
3. No God-Modding, included in this is no killing other people's characters unless it is agreed upon between both rp'rs.
4. Romance is allowed, but nothing too explicit. Follow Gaia's TOS and keep it PG-13.
5. Try and keep language and gory descriptions to a minimum.
6. Different RP formats are accepted, however please make a clear definition between a character's words and their actions.
7. Please no Net Speak.
8. Use (( )) for Out of Character speak.
9.. Speaking of OOC, NO large OOC conversations are allowed. Short blurbs such as ((I need to go)), ((I'll be right back)), etc are acceptable, but otherwise bring all OOC conversation to the OOC Thread.
10. If you have a problem with someone, keep between yourself and that person. DO NOT bring it into the thread! In thread bickering over people or characters will NOT be permitted. If there is an extreme problem, please bring it to A Leading Edge (Ailyra) for moderation.
11. Here, A Leading Edge's word is law.
Tavern & Inn Rules:
1. If you are a creature that does so, do not bite or turn another unless both parties agree to it.
2. Fights are allowed, but please take them outside or to the arena.
3.If for some reason one were to occur inside, whatever you break, you clean up.
4.If Ailyra tells you to cut it out, cut it out. You don't want to cross her. She can be mean. Really. I swear.
5.Respect the staff. Rudeness to them will not be tolerated.
Otherwise come in relax, heal, gather with friends or enjoy a safe haven. Have a drink, meal, or even a relaxing trip to our spa. Everything here is free and all one must do is ask.

A room list is held behind the bar. There are three floors of rooms available in the main building, each consisting of ten rooms and three floors available in the new wing, each with fourteen rooms. If you are a patron planning on staying, please send a PM to A Leading Edge, and she will get you settled. Employee rooms are interspersed on both floors. (Employee's please PM me if you would like to be assigned a room also.) Remodeling may be in the future if the inn starts becoming full.

Month: December
Season: Fall / Winter
All of the leaves have fallen and the days are increasingly becoming cooler. However, the first snow has yet to fall, so everything is a bit bleak. The garden and its balmy tropical air is still in full bloom if one needs a break from the gloom.
Weather: Sunny one day, cloudy the next, day temperatures range from 25 degrees Fahrenheit to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Night temperatures are considerably cooler, sticking right around 10 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit.

There are currently no events planned, though we may have a party for the holidays towards the middle of the month and a 10,000 Pages party after that happens.
