(( oh wow! Ive had it since i was a child!! lol ))

She grinned and took a sip of her drink."yummy"she said, licking her lips,"Strawberry banana."
-]"Definitely a good flavor," X said, agreeing with her. He ate some more of the eggs and smiled. "Have you tried the smoothie with pineapple in it too? Amazing..."[-
Flushing and smiling sheepishly was the only response Candi could give Julie. Her fingers tightened around Paco's, like she was trying to show him how much she cared just by touching him. Her blush deepened before she decided to change the subject.

"Paco knows but I haven't told any one else yet, but I won the International Dance Competition, I walked out first place in Jazz and Ballet only second in contemporary. I didn't compete for anything besides those so thats it" She was mentally ticking off all her competitions and was sure it was only the three that she had preformed in.
-]"Wow, that sounds so amazing," Julie said, and awed tone in her voice. "That must have been so much fun!" She looked over at Paco with a grin and said, "You know, Candi...I think we should see a demonstration of a first place dancer's ability..."[-

-]Paco's eyes lit up at the mention of a demonstration and he looked at Candi hopefully, almost begging her with his eyes.[-
Candi's blush renewed it's self on her cheeks, flushing her face a bright red, and making her squirm in her seat. She hesitated and looked to Paco cracking underneath his pleading gaze. Huffing softly she got to her feet and walked across the floor to the stage. She went through her selection of CD's then paused. "What do you guys wanna see?"
-]"Hmm, I think maybe the Jazz..." Julie said, winking at her. "You should save the other stuff for when you and Paco are alone..."[-
Candi scrunched her face and stuck out her tongue. What did Julie think she did in contemporary, swing around a pole, but good naturly she smiled back and plopped the CD into the player. She tossed Paco the remote so he could hit play when she was in the correct spot on the stage.

Candi walked to the middle of the stage, her face carefully blank trying to give them the real time experiance. She took three teps to stage left then sat down cross legged, arms behind her supporting the upper half of her body, while her head tilted up to face the roof.
-]Julie stuck her tongue out at Candi in return and leaned back against the bar to watch the dance.[-

-]Paco was excited that he would get to see Candi dance again. Watching this was always a treat and he greatly enjoyed it. His eyes were glued to his bride-to-be as she moved onto the stage, and when it looked like she was ready Paco let the music start.[-

-]Julie noticed the intensity with which Paco was watching and laughed. "Hey big guy," she said, "Pull your eyes back into your head...you might start drooling on the floor..."[-
" Pineapple is good in almost everything!"She smiled at him and took another bit out of her toast."Im glad you like your breakfast"
-]"Yeah, Pineapple really is," he said, grinning back at Elizabeth. He finished up his steak and eggs and then wiped his mouth before saying, "I didn't just like it," Xavier said, "I really liked it...the food was amazing Elizabeth. I don't know why you say you're only good at cooking breakfast. lunch and dinner foods aren't all that different..."[-
Candi hadn't heard Julie's remark to Paco but if she did Julie would have received the look of death. As it was the music had began before she had even spoken. Candi had decided to preform one of her gold winning performances from her last competition. Unfortunately Paco would be seeing alot more of the routine in coming events. He was going to be her husband so her sponsors would now dish out the money for him to join her at competitions. It was only unfortunate because she never wanted him to lose his sense of wonder for her dance. He always seemed eager and almost child like when people spoke about or he got to watch her dance.

Candi's body automatically flowed and swayed with the gentle rhythm. The dance started with some simple upper body movements, making her torso, arms and head look almost detached in their fluid stretching movements. Slowly her body seemed to uncoil and spread it's self out, seeming to get bigger as the rhythm picked up.

Her bare feet moved delicately beneath her graceful figure as she used all of the space the stage provided. Her body twisted and coiled, stretched lunged, and flipped through the soundtrack, telling the story of a a great heroine the roamed large lands had intense battles then fell in love and had her heart broken. By the end of the dance Candi had returned to her original position on the floor, only this time her head was in her hands, her body folded over her crossed legs, in a visibly defeated position. When the last cords of the song had faded away Candi slowly unfolded herself, stood gracefully and gave a deep bow to her two person audience then waited.

She was anxious and worrying her bottom lip trying to judge their reactions to her dance. This is what she did, how she made a living a defined herself as a person. But somehow dancing in front of the people she loved the most was harder then dancing in front of all the judges in the world. Her confidence always faltered, especially when she danced in front of Paco. Her mind always going to the worst scenario's of him falling out of love with her cuz she screwed up and lots her talent. She knew of course that it was Paco and it would never happen. She worried less of Julie's reaction, not because it meant less but for the simple reason that if she messed up or Julie didn't like it teasing was in store until Candi had something to hang over her friends head instead. Then all would be forgiven and returned to the way it was before.

Candi finally raised her blushing face to read their reactions. "Well??"

{{ I thought I had writers block before I started this but then it kinda unwound in my head and turned out okay... Sorry it's so long and not that well put together, like it's missing the details but sorry!! }}
Zahira double checked the address written on a small crumpled piece of paper. Yup this was the right place, this was the place she hoped she would be able to find a job. Zahira was a masseuse, and a pretty good bartender. Bar tending was how she paid for schooling. Zahira pulled her long dark curls away from her face tying the strands into a bun on the nape of her neck. She opened the door to the Bar and Grille and stepped gingerly inside.

Her violet eyes roamed the scene before her. On the stage was a little lithe women standing somewhere between a bow and actually standing, she was facing a small audience of two with a worried look on her face. Zira's eyes shifted to the two veiwers, One male and one female, both lounging against the bar, eyes trained on the performer. She looked past them spotting a couple out on the patio aswell. Slowly Ziri entered the bar and headed in the direction of the two on lookers hoping to ask for a certain Mr. X, the name scribbled on the crumpled piece of paper that had led her all the way here.
-]Paco had been watching the dance in a state of awe as if he had never seen anything quite so amazing. It was true that he hadn't but after seeing her dance Paco had no doubts in his mind about how Candi had won the parts of the competition that she'd entered. Her movements were so smooth and beautiful that Paco knew he could never get tired of watching them, especially since he couldn't dance at all. When Candi was finished her routine Paco got up from the bar stool that he had been sitting on and walked over to the stage, smiling. He climbed up onto the stage and put his arms around her whispering, "That was absolutely amazing, Dulce...I...I don't know how else to describe it..." A small worry began to creep into his mind that kept nagging him. It consisted of the thought that such a good dancer would probably tire of someone like him who had two left feet when it came to dancing. Paco tried to push the thought out of his head because he was sure that Candi would never do anything like that and so he hugged her tightly, a smile on his face.[-

-]Julie was rather impressed as well. When Paco got up, and the routine was over, she began to clap loudly, showing her appreciation for being able to see the performance. She was paying attention to the one on stage, so Julie was a little bit startled when a woman approached her and asked about her brother. Julie's gaze went shifted to out the window where X was having breakfast with Elizabeth and she smiled. "Sorry, Love," she said to the woman, "But X is a little busy right now. Maybe I can help you though..." Julie looked the woman over for a second and smiled, "My name is Julie," she said, holding her hand out to the woman, "What's your name?"[-
Elizabeth shrugged and finished her toast."I just like cooking breakfast. I've always enjoyed cooking for my parents before we all went out for the day.Even Shawn liked my cooking."She looked away at that particular name and thought for a moment before looking at X and smiling."Im really glad you liked it."
-]Xavier didn't fail to notice her change in tone when she mentioned the name Shawn. Apparently even just mentioning the name was painful to her. "Well thank you for making breakfast Elizabeth," he said, "it really was wonderful..." He had an idea and smiled. "Come with me," he said, holding out his hand as he got up, "Let's go for a short walk."[-
