Eirian had put the babes down to sleep. She seemed a bit tired, they had kept her awake all night. She sat at the bar and buried her face in her arms, and sighed loudly.
Arianna heard her and said 'Are they sleeping now?'
'mmmph...' Was all she got as Eirian simply nodded, with her face still buried in her arms on the table.
'Did you finish that portrait yet?' Arianna asked, trying to change the topic of conversation.
'Yes...' Eirian muttered, thinking of how nicely Cherimoya's portrait had come though she was not feeling very excited at the moment.
'Would you like anything to eat or drink?' Arianna asked
Eirian lifted her head up and said 'No. Im good...'
Arianna could tell Eirian was not in the mood for talking, so she decided to let her be. She was a teenager anyway. They all got moody from time to time.

Eirian started to feel suffocated, so she got up and put a jacket on, boots for the snow, put a hat and wrapped a scarf around her neck, and went outside. She started going into the forest that durrounded the Inn. The snow crunched as she walked but she didnt pay attention to that. She came to the clearing in which she had ran into Aerla one day. There was a big elk in the middle of it. Suddenly, she felt the urge to attack it...her fangs grew and started pulsing...
'Oh no no no!' She told herself, not wanting to taste blood...but her vampire side wanted it. She had denied her body blood since she had left the lab. She tried to stop herself from walking over to the animal but she simply kept going after it. The animal bolted further into the forest, amd Eirian followed it.

Silver watched the short conversation, watching Eirian all but bolt out the doors after a few moments. He suspected she might be tired from taking care of her siblings, but if that was all, she seemed awfully upset about it. He looked up at Arianna. "Is she alright?" Maybe she knew what was the matter. He could only guess, having been secluded in his room for the past several weeks.

'I honestly dont know...she did seem exhausted...but there was something off about her...I just let her be. She'll tell me whats wrong when shes ready...' Arianna replied though she looked towards the door with worry.
'mmm I hope shes Ok. Its very cold outside and I dont understand why shed bolt straight out to the cold...' Arianna said.

Eirian pursued the elk and when she was close, she jumped after it and knocked it down. She sank her fangs into its neck. as she sucked its blood, she had flashbacks of Jade's memories when she fed. Eirian drained the animal from its blood. She then leaned against the animal, panting loudly and wondering how the hell she had lost control. She had blood on her face and hands.

"I see..." Silver didn't reallt know what else he could say beyond that. He didn't know the first thing about teenagers at all let alone a teenage girl. When Sayori began growing up, she wad closer to Salen, and after that if was Zeno. Either way, he had never handled his little sister growing up. He didn't know whether to check on Eirian of leave her be. He sighed softly and looked down at his gloved hands.
Sage had kept to herself for a while, not really caring to seek out the company of others. She made her way to the library that had the piano and sat down on the bench in front of it. Her fingers slid gently, lovingly, over the keys. A soft sound came from the instrument as she pressed the keys lightly. The song was something she used to play often, soft and whimsical, but as she progressed she let her thoughts go, something she always tended to do when she played piano, and the feeling of the song transformed in to something a little darker.

Mai faded in from the shadows near Eirian, his form hidden in the darkness. He looked her over before moving closer, out of the cloak of darkness that the trees provided him. His white fur shined in the light of the moon.

'No..no...NO!' Eirian exclaimed as she looked at her hands covered in blood. She sank them into the snow. She knelt down on the frozen ground, her forehead almost touched the ground. She shut her eyes and whispered 'I dont want to take life away from anyone...'
She hated her vampire genes sometimes. Her gums were hurting, and her fangs were still pulsing. They did that every month, during the full moon, and she was usually able to deal with that...but not this time...and it was probably because she had really pushed it for longer than usual. Eirian laughed bitterly and said 'What now professor? You couldnt foresee Id have this problem...I am not the perfect being you thought you created...'

Arianna excused herself and went upstairs to check on the babies.

-eeegaaads sorry guys-

Winter. The dreary weather and lack of nature caused the fae to mellow out. Like half her head went in to hibernation with her tree's. This caused Tess to have headaches and feel slightly less then her normal, making cleaning the Inn take much longer then normal. Her poor fingers still ached slightly from the scrubbing she gave the library the day before. With a sigh she pulled a light summer dress from her wardrobe down over her head, adding only a cardigan to cover her warms. She tied her sandals to her feet and fluttered down to the main floor. A bright smile bloomed on her face when she spotted the familiar sight of a head full of orange and white hair. Of course he wasn't alone in the room and she recognized Silver, Osena and Sayne but the warm fuzzy feeling she felt came from Riquozi and Riquozi alone. Unsure if Riquozi had shared their current change in status with anyone Tess kept herself in check.

"Evening, Lord Sayne, Lord Silver, Mistress Osena, Riquozi"

She flitted to the other side of the bar and made herself a mug of bloodthorn tea.

Trin flutter from one foot to the other as the smell of blood filled her bird nose and sent the bird side of her into a frantic panic. Some what used to this side of herself Trin morphed to her human form and promptly fell out of her own nest. She hit the snow hard, even though the white stuff blanketed the ground and made it look cloud like it did nothing to prevent you from hitting frozen earth beneath. The bird girl groaned and rolled up to her feet, she rubbed her backside and swore.
Her vibrant teal eyes landed on Erian and she smiled. Trin had met this girl once maybe twice before, not being a patron of the Inn just of the land she found this was often the case with the residents. Trin made to enter the clearing but her bird instincts were still going half mad making her hesitate and take in more of the scene. The dead elk and the teen covered in blood gave her some answers, enough for her to ask before coming any closer. After all predators were predators no matter the hide they wore, the guardians knew this better then most.

"Eirian..? Is everything hunky doory?"

Trinna found her human nature wasn't very afraid, more curious as to weather the blood was all the elk's or if she should fly to the inn and retrieve Tess.

Eirian felt sick to her stomach when she heard Trinna's voice. She knew someone had seen her at her lowest and she felt sickened and embarrassed. Without looking at Trinna, she said 'Im fine...I will be...'
However, her instincts kicked on again at the prospect of a new victim. She was horrified as the thought crossed her mind. If she was thinking like this, then she was not safe to be around her siblings. She felt the blood she had just consumed coming back up. Turning away, she bent over and threw some of it up.
she shakily stood up and decided shed go to the pond to maybe wash up a little before she went back in. She wasnt feeling so great.

Arianna came back down the stairs with both babes in her arms. They were wide away. She placed on a play mat. They simply sat there with some toys, not being able to crawl much yet.
Arianna noticed Tess had come down and smiled at her, then said 'Good Evening, Tess. Would you like something to drink or eat?'

::[[ No worries. I'm going to try to reply more often. Things have been really busy at work since we're moving xp ]]::

"Good evening Miss Tess." Silver smiled at the fae before falling quiet again. Silver sat at the bar in silence for a few more moments, thinking to himself until he heard the faint sound of piano music drifting through the inn. Thinking it might be Sage, he stood up and wandered to the source of the sound. He was used to hearing her play the piano, and how the music changed the more she lost herself in her thoughts. When he made it to the library, he stood in the doorway and watched and listening. He didn't want to disturb her while she was playing.

"Evening, Miss Teshika." Sayne nodded to Teshika and looked at her as he drank from his glass. She seemed a little different. She wasn't her bright and chipper self. Perhaps the cold weather and lack of plant life made her depressed. He looked at Riquozi for some kind of hint as to what might be a little different about Tess. He didn't gather what was different about Tess, but he did see an obvious change in Tess Riquozi just by the way they looked at each other. He chuckled, a knowing smile on his lips as he continued drinking his wine.

Riquozi set his indigo gaze on a familiar happy face. He smiled and watched her. "How are you this evening, Tess?" He hadn't really told anyone about the change between Tess and himself, mostly because he figured anyone he would tell would already know or would find out fairly quickly. Glancing at Sayne's sly smile, his assumption was confirmed.

Since Arianna didnt have much to do, she sat down on the floor with the babies amd played with them. Jumana and Argene giggled excitedly as she tickled them and played peekaboo with them.
Sage hadn't noticed him at first. Her eyes were fixated on her fingers as they danced along the keys. It was a few minutes until she became aware of the feeling of another's eyes on her that she looked up, her fingers stumbling over themselves as she became distracted by his presence. Stopping the song at mid-climax, she let her hands fall in to her lap and she gave him a small smile. "Hey."

Tess held up her cup of tea, a small smile tugging at her lips.
"Got myself taken care of already but thank you mistress . Is there anything i can do for you m'lady?"
Tess strong suit was more geared to adults not babies but she still coo at them trying to make them giggle.

Arianna smiled at Tess kindly and said 'No thank you...'
Argene and Jumana looked up at Tess curiously as she cooed at them. Then they both smiled at her. Jumana snuggled against Arianna shyly, as she peeked at Tess. Argene was not too shy though. The boy gurgled at Tess and said something that sounded like the word 'Pretty'.
Arianna looked at Argene with alarm, and picked him up to look at him closely, and said
'What did you say? You spoke didnt you?'
Argene refused to repeat the word though, suddenly feeling shy and started to squirm in her arms. Sighing, she put him down and he simply sat on the playmat, playing with some foam building blocks.
'I shouldnt be surprised by anything they do...they are genetically manipulated after all...' Arianna said sighing as she sat picked up Jumana. She liked being held, and so, she snuggled comfortably in Arianna's arms.

"You didn't have to stop." Silver smiled slightly and walked over to Sage. Just the words and actions gave a strong sense of deja vu, having said and done the same thing many times before. And oddly enough it was more relieving than unsettling. So much had changed, and with his recent stumble it left him feeling disconnected in such a way that it seemed impossible to bridge the gap. The familiarity gave him reason to believe that it was still possible to eventually achieve some sense of normalcy. "How are you doing?"

"We are all creatures of a design, Miss Arianna. Some designs are just more obvious than others." Sayne walked over to Argene and knelt down, reaching over to his right arm and taking off the rose gold band and offering it to the little one to play with, making sure all the while that his wine was well out of reach.

Riquozi was content to stand behind the bar and watch Teshika interact with the others. He sat on a stool and finished the wine he had been drinking with Sayne. He wasn't particularly fond of wine, but it was something he had no problem drinking while chatting with Sayne. But with it now finished, he began putting some thought into what he would drink next.
Sage moved over on the bench, making more room for him to sit beside her. "I know I didn't have to stop." She lowered her eyes and thought about how she felt for a few seconds before smiling somberly. "I'm okay." Sage wasn't really certain how she felt as of late because, while nothing was ever specifically wrong, there was something off that she just couldn't place. Her eyes drifted back up to meet his. "How are you doing?"
