Not having much else to do, Sage followed Eirian out.

Mai stared at Sage's form from across the garden. Something wasn't right, he could sense it. Slowly, he stood and crept over to her, nudging her hands with his head. Her touch was pale and clammy, not warm like normal. He wasn't sure if she was sick or what, but he just had this feeling of unease around her as well as an unexplained detachment.

Lamia startled a bit at the sudden presence. She really must be a bit weak to not have sensed the wolf in the room. Looking at him and smiling a small smile, she patted his head reassuringly as she noticed the wary expression he had.

When Sage looked at him, he noticed her eyes were not grey, but a soulless black as though her irises had disappeared completely and her eyes were one solid pupil. Her touch was different also, not as soft. Confused and more than a little unsure, he bared his teeth at her in warning and backed away a few steps before letting out a loud growl from deep inside his chest.

Eirian noticed Sage sitting at the foot of the stairs on her way outside. She noticed Mai was there and seemed a bit agitated. She looked at Sage again and didnt see anything wrong with her, though her gut was telling her something wasnt right.
She dismisses her uneasiness reminding herself she didnt really know anyone here so she couldnt really say whether something was wrong with the people here. She shrugged it off and called Mai to come outside with her. Maybe what the wolf needed was a morning stroll.

Riquozi didn't really know what to say besides a quiet, "I'm fine." He still couldn't bring himself to look at her and those limp wings. Here Tess was healing while Osena was upstairs sleeping the day away. He turned and walked down the hall, heading down toward the bar. Tess was likely hungry and it wouldn't hurt to get Sayne some food. There was a tenseness in his muscles and in the air around him and Riquozi quickly realized he was falling into very old habits. With a sigh, he made an effort to relax his muscles. While that worked, everything else was still tense. How strange it was to feel like this.

Tess didn't follow him right away, she was lost in thought and staring after him. Something was the matter, of that she was sure, but whatever it was she couldn't place her finger on it. The first spark of anger ignited in her. What had happened between yesterday in the garden and today? If she had done something to displease him why wouldn't he just come out and tell her? No one had ever had a problem spouting their displeasure with her before.

The anger brought a bit more strength into her. She was able to hold her wings up even if they still couldn't be used to fly. Tess didn't know what his problem was and knew that until he spoke it she probably wouldn't figure it out so she followed him down to the bar. The short trip was silent and filled with tension but she carefully schooled her features so that no one would guess anything was wrong.

Tess noticed the company change and a bright smile lit her face when her gaze landed on Trevelyn in the kitchen. It must have been good food to get the tiger to do such chores. Tess ambled into the kitchen area just as Trevelyn finished up her duties. The Tiger took one look at the fae and blurted.
"What the HELL happened to you? Did you find another collector to attach yourself to? Or did HE do this to you?"
Tess sniffed, anger already burning in her the last thing she wanted was a confrontation.
"O can it Trev. It is not that bad and I was healing another, doing a little bit of good that I can."
Trevelyn rolled her eyes
"Not that bad! Can you use those wings of yours or are they just fancy ornaments?"
Tess's face heated. What right did she have? It's not like it was her that was hurting! When it had been Trev, she'd been all to happy to horde Tess's healing hands.
Tess ran out of words but her temper made her continue anyways.
"What is the matter with everyone today? For the Mother, All I've done is what's right and now it's cold shoulders and pompous tigers!"
Tess stormed from the kitchen and through the bar, breaking out into the fresh air by use of the front door. She scurried up the tree by the library windows, where Riquozi had spied on her once, she pushed her face into the bark of the higher branches and closed her eyes. How long had it been since she lost her temper like that?

Riquozi was surprised at Teshika's reaction to her tiger friend, but he couldn't muster up any sort of reaction from himself. He was a mindless observer, only half listening and half seeing what was going on around him. After Teshika snapped at Trevelyn and stormed out, he only glanced at the tiger guardian before grabbing a plate and taking a little bit of everything for Sayne.

Ailm appeared on the horizon just in time to see a small woman run out the main doors and to the side of the inn. She wasn't flying, but the clothing and the long green hair must mean it was the Fae, Teshika. Odd, why did she seem so upset? He sensed many presences, among them an angel from his realm and his own Alpha, Riquozi. But what he sensed from Riquozi was unsettling. Guessing Teshika may have an idea of what was going on, he walked toward the tree she had disappeared into, his hair and eye color deceptively changing to match Riquozi.

Arianna notices Tess's distress as she stormed out of the bar. She looked at the Tiger woman and sensed distress on her as well. Miss Trev was simply concerned for Miss Tess and she could tell the tiger woman loved Tess very much from the concern radiating from her. It seemed Miss Tess was very sensitive today and may have misread the concern as something else.
Arianna packed a paper bag with chocolate treats she had made and headed outside to look for Tesshika. Maybe some sweet treats and some company would make her feel better.
Once outside, she couldnt spot the direction Tess took off to, so she headed to the pond and would start the search from there.

Eirian had sat down by the flowers and started to sing 'Edelweiss'. She smiled as she sang because she could have sworn the flowers were swaying as she sang. Maybe she was imagining, but she rather liked the idea that the flowers were enjoying the music.
Sage had followed Eirian to Mai and when she saw the source of his distress, she didn't know what to do other than stare at... Herself? It took her a moment to register that that was indeed her body, and someone else was inhabiting it.

Lamia stood and looked at the wolf, a touch terrified. She looked toward the girl and relaxed when the wolf followed her out. She waited a few moments to be sure they were far enough away before walking out of the garden and to the bar area.

Instead of following Mai and Eirian out, Sage watched her form proceed to the bar. Her eyes were locked on the figure. Looking down at her chest she noticed the cord of white light that was now beginning to fade as her soul become more and more detached from her body.

Mai followed Eirian without much hesitation, but he kept looking back over his shoulder until they were out the door. When they reached the flowers and Eirian started singing, Mai calmed and laid down, resting his head on his giant paws and watching the flowers seem to dance to her song.

Eirian noticed Mai didnt seem to be completely OK, and noticed when he kept looking over his shoulder after Sage. She set the guitar aside and came to sit closer by him, and scratched him behind his ears.
'I know buddy, I had a weird feeling too...' She said softly. She loved how soft his fur was and said 'Did you get something to eat yet? Arianna made tons of food this morning...'

Tess peeked through the branches and noticed both Arianna and Riquozi had followed her out. She frowned a little confused as to why it was those two that had chosen to follow her. However curious she might have been Tess refused to be the first one to speak. She shut her eyes again, gaining a weird sense of calmness from the tree.

Ailm had no hope of passing off as Riquozi, he wasn't even going to try. As he jumped from the ground below Teshika to a branch slightly above her, his hair changed to a fall leaf orange and his eyes to a matching green. Settling into his perch, he sat and leaned back slightly, looking at the Fae through the branches and what leaves still clung to them. "Why the long face, my dear? It doesn't suit a pretty one like you to look so bothered." Ailm's face showed a cool confidence as always, his eyes observing more than one might guess. However, his face remained unreadable but for the fact that he seemed to have a friendly curiosity for what was the matter.

Arianna missed Tess' hiding spot and kept walking. She didnt notice Ailm either. She reached the pond and didnt see anyone around. She sighed and hope Tess was all right.
'She probably wants to be alone anyway' she thought and sat on a boulder close to the pond.
Mai licked at Eirian's chin. He hadn't eaten, but he wasn't too hungry either. Mostly, he just wanted to be outside. The fresh air was nice. His nose twitched as he sniffed the air.

Lamia saw Sage's spirit, though she made sure to ignore that fact and kept her eyes on the ground as she walked. When she got to the bar, she took a seat and just looked around, letting her face fall expressionless and making sure not to stare off in one direction for too long.

Sage followed closely behind her body, keeping pace, which wasn't too hard since she was moving so slow. She stood next to her form and touched her own chest. Her hand simply went through it, like it had before. Feeling defeated, she willed herself to drift up to the ceiling and waved her hand back and forth through the bulbs in the ceiling lights, causing them to flicker. "At least there are some things I still can affect..." she thought to herself.

Uya returned from her workshop nearby, her bag full of finished trinkets to sell and trade to the warring demons in Purgatory. It wasn't the most fun work, but at least it was something. After all, she had to find a way to afford her own materials for her special projects. Her grey and black cotton work short kimono was covered in dust from carving and polishing stones and she quite honestly was ready to go home and take a shower and get into a finer outfit. Her soft black leather boots drug through the dying grass, her feet protesting being stood upon any longer. Softly sighing, Uya crossed the meadow toward the inn, glancing with her piecing bright blue-violet eyes at the woman at the pond, and at the woman to the side of the inn in the gardens that looked oddly like her uncle before pushing open the doors of the inn and stepping into the main area. However, all thoughts of a relaxing shower snapped from her mind as she saw the source of the strange mix of colors she saw earlier. There was a woman sitting at the bar, but her colors did not match the colors of the body she was in. Narrowing her eyes, she focused on the colors and found the source of the body's colors near the ceiling. The colors looked exactly like the woman sitting at the bar.

"Would you like anything to eat or drink, Sage?" Silver smiled slightly at Sage, again getting that nagging feeling that something wasn't right. Before she seemed content being here. Now she seemed...out of place. He closed his bottle and put it back under the bar, watching her all the while.
It took Lamia a second to notice that he was talking to her, because she was Sage now. She shot him a quick glance and a smile before shaking her head. "No thank you." She folded her hands awkwardly in her lap and sensing eyes on her, she looked toward the door at the woman who entered. Feeling a little uncomfortable, she gave her a nervous smile before lowering her head and brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.

Silver only nodded, his gaze following Sage's to Uya, who seemed to be staring holes through Sage. Normally, he would scold the girl for being so rude, but normally Sage also would have been friendly, had introduced herself. Maybe she would even comment that she looked like Sayori. Remembering how easily Light accepted Uya and her gift, Silver decided to go with an instinct and motioned Uya to come behind the bar to speak with him.

Uya glared at the cowardice acknowledgement from who she was beginning to think of as "Bodysnatcher". She didn't belong in that body, and she knew that. She stared up at the ceiling at the colored woman causing the lights to flicker before catching her uncle waving her over to him. Brushing off her work kimono and purposely ignoring Sage, she walked behind the bar and over to her uncle Silver.

Silver almost bent down to speak to Uya, but he realized she was a little taller than Sayori and wasn't a child anymore. Instead, he sat down on a tall bar stool and leaned close, keeping his voice low. "What do you see?"

Uya took comfort in the fact that Silver didn't scold her when she came over to him. Instead, he asked her what she saw. In her mind, that was just the same as politely asking why she was staring. Something was wrong, and he must at least sense it a little bit. She pulled out her bag and opened it, tinkering with her random finished trinkets and pretending to be showing them to him, all the while she gave Silver an equally quiet response. "That woman sitting at the bar, her colors are different than the colors of her body...And you see that flickering light? There is a woman there, made of the same colors as the body, and she looks just like her too."

Did she mean to say someone else's soul was in Sage's body? When Uya referred to the flickering light, he chanced a glance up and indeed found it. Of course he didn't see anything else, but he knew Uya wasn't the type to lie about what she saw. There were a few ways he could know for sure. He sighed softly and looked back at Uya. "Alright. Let me handle this."
