Inn Khaotica

[Ukaia_Dorei]

Ukaia looked confused as Owraii spoke to her. She didn't.. understand. Chear them on? Why.. why not try to stop them. She looked out at the fight. The ice the powerthe battle.. and then jumped nearly out of her fur when Owraii yelled her encouragement to Lindo.

Could she do that? Encourage Mat.. to.. to defeat.. somone? For a pointless stupid battle? She frowned looking more and more puzzled then she hesatated and said
"K.. kick.. his butt.. Mat" she didn't scream it.. but.. she did.. say it. At least right? She just couldn't put much more into it then that. She didn't feel it was right.. Not really. But.. Owraii.. seemed to think it was the right thing to do. ... Ukaia glanced back at Khaotica to see if she agreed or dissaproved of Ukaia saying that.

[Matakor]

Khaotica felt rather...out of touch at the moment. Owarii was...changed. Possibly the odd way Ukaia had touched her? She listened to the conversation, but it didn't register until Ukaia turned to her. Flustered, she motioned for her daughter to come to her, and then she moved to meet and hug Ukaia. "Cheering may not be the best thing to do, but we should support him...she is right in that respect." She gently pet her daughter's hair and looked sadly out to the field. "Do look closely though. It seems the fight is close to the end. Hopefully we'll be able to finally have some piece and quiet after those two are finished. I have an odd craving for some tea.." Khaotica started staring off into space as she thought about which tea she wanted.

Lindo's eyes could barely follow any of Mat's attacks. To many strikes all over the armor to focus properly and heal as the heat ate away at the ice, creating steam. Mat was indeed clever, but so was Lindo. The armor cracked quickly and had no way of defending against Mat's attacks. Quickly the armor shattered and exploded after a roar came form the head of the ice monster, signaling its demise.

As the armor exploded it released what hid inside. Susano'os storm clouds, and Tsukuyomi's rings. The trap was sprung and the clouds blanketed the whole arena, acting as cover. Both rings traveled through the cover of the dark clouds before surrounding Mat on both sides. Mat would be helpless against Tsukuyomi's ability.

Tsukuyomi
Each ring acts as half of a full moon. As far as man reached they are forever distant from the surface of the moon, and so is anyone who attempts to get close to Tsukuyomi's rings. The rings distort space around them and add an additional 238,900 miles in the five feet around them.

Unless Mat could destroy each ring inside the raging storm around him he would have to travel 238,900 miles before hoping to escape the storm the blanketed the arena's floor. Each ring of Tsukuyomi has the density of half of the earths moon, making them incredibly hard to destroy. Could Mat figure out the mystery that was Tsukuyomi? The same ability that thwarted his previous attack.

Above the storm a dark sphere appeared. The sphere unraveled itself as if it was a large ball of yarn with multiple strands that eventually formed both ends of the sash that now acted as wings, keeping Lindo afloat. He looked down from high above the storm. Using the sash he had hid his body inside the same lack of existence that both he and Mat had experienced a day prior. However, it effected him more than he had realized. The gray of his body was now darker. Lindo was almost completely black now. He still needed a great exertion of mana and prana to fully realize the transformation though. Another attack like Susano'os lightning blast, but the storm god was of no use anymore other than for cover. Tsukuyomi had no offensive abilities. All that was left was Amaterasu. Lindo had no choice but to use this one final technique. He hoped that OWARII would protect them all....

Lindo's clawed hands came together and formed a circle. Inside the circle a small ball of light and fire was beginning to form as Lindo chanted a spell of incarnation....

[Matakor]

Ok...he wasn't expecting that. It was definitely a well placed trap. His senses were quite distorted as well. The area that he could see was a bit larger than what he 'saw'. It felt as though he were inside an extremely large place. "Great. I didn't want to 'cheat', but seeing as you've not left me much choice, I suppose my abilities will have to be a bigger part of this fight."

Mat vanished from the spot he stood. Were he moving simply from one spot to another and actually traveling a distance, Lindo's trap would have worked. As it was, Mat's phasing didn't move him a distance. Rather, he 'jumped' from one point to another. Mat appeared outside the rings a good distance away. No need to get caught in that again...but where was Lindo? A quick glance revealed he was in the air preparing a spell. Oh dear, now what?

[Ukaia_Dorei]

Ukaia leaned a little bit aginst Khaotica. She was just.. tired of the fight. She would be glad when it ended. And she could only pray that the laws remained in place. Nobody could die in the Inn.. but the ache in her heart....told her that that might not be true. She still couldn't tell what the ache was from, the image still fogged out of her mind for now.

"I know some lovely apple spice tea that would probly make everyone happy " she murmmued quietly to her. She winced at the roar of the creature falling. She'd only thought it was ice.. But.. it was so hard to see everything. The storm and the lights and the chaos.... she didn't know exaclty what was going on.

She wondered...if she would ever understand why they were fighting. Ukaia looked at Owraii.. she seemedto understand it... why couldn't Ukaia.

He focused. Putting as much mana as he could from the sash and himself into the small ball of light. The flow of mana and prana was sloppy though. Lindo would have to use every technique of balancing he knew as a Magus to control the flow and form a clean and raw magic. Lindo stood completely still now, slow breaths came from his lips as he controlled his breathing. He could feel it now. His mind was calm. His body was balanced. All Lindo needed now was outward balance. Slowly Lindo spoke words that would echo across the Colosseum.

"Message of the blowing wind"

"Erasing memories"

"Stars are the witnesses of our existence"

Lindo stopped and winced as both his hands burst into flame. He could barely feel it after the initial burn. The sash was quickly taking over his senses now. He had little time left.

"Reaching out to catch the sun"

"To hold it in our hands"

"Longing for something strong to hide our weakness"

"Soon the light may disappear"

"Nothing is meant to last"

"Yet we believe our world"

"Searching for happiness"

"The Darkness burns away...."

A moment passed as Lindo finished his incarnation. Flames raged out from the small sphere. The only thing that contained its immense power was Lindo now. With one tear that fell from his cheek Lindo flung his hands out to his sides, and with them the power of a new star. In an instant the whole area would be erased. Burned to ash and beyond as a new star formed inside Khaotica. Lindo had let loose the power of the sun....

[Matakor]

Mat's eyes went wide. Was he MAD?! This needed to end, and now. No more wasting time. No more holding back anything. He flew, building up as much energy as he could. The heat bellowing from the new star was intense. Mat's clothes began to light up, daring to burst into flame.

He flew directly at the star, and at the last moment, released all the energy he built up. The energy flowed from his core, to his feet and propelled him into the core of the star. Before the star would grow to more than about 50 feet in diameter, Mat had entered the core.

Lindo's creation would end it's growth. The inferno of the star did indeed cause intense destruction around the arena. All of the sand immediately flashed into glass. The star stayed as such for a moment, before destabilizing and collapsing on itself. The power of the implosion was just as great as the creation of the star.

In the end, there remained not but a small sphere of light, occasionally blinking.

[Matakor]

Khaotica threw up protection as soon as Lindo began to finish the chant. Too much power was in that incantation for it not to cause damage elsewhere. As the star formed, she knew it was a damned good idea. The sphere surrounding the four girls held off the onslaught, for the most part. Khaotica was brought to her knees almost immediately. She wasn't expecting that, or she would have prepared a much better shield.

Then she saw Mat's response. Initially, she expected him to just collapse it...and he did...but...where was Mat now?

[Ukaia_Dorei]

Ukaia gasped startled. The sight .. the sound..the energy. She couldn't beleive it.. it made her heart skip several beats. Unconciously she sent energy into the barrier that Khotica had put up, helping her protect them with out even knowing she was doing it. But the sand in the arena being turned to glass.. it was an amazing thing.

Her eyes were locked on the star though, the way it flashed and breathed, and then the way it colapsed and fell into a small blinking.. thing. Ukaia had a funny feeling, but she wasn't paying attentionto it right now. She was simpy.. in awe of what she'd seen.

"Where are they?" she finally asked a terse worried whisper. Mat...she didn't know where he was. Lindo she finally spotted hovering in the air. He looked so... wrong, she could only hope they would be ok. She didn't know what would happen now. As much as she loved what she had seen... she was afraid.

Shadow. Darkness. Quite. All of these things consumed him now. He could see nothing. He could hear nothing. Lindo remained in the air, floating where he was when he had first cast the spell. Steam at first was emitting off of Lindo's skin, but it quickly came to a stop as his entire body was turned jet black. From a distance detail was impossible to see. From Ukaia's perspective he would seem as a shadow, lacking any and all detail other than his outline. Lindo could then suddenly see blurry visions, however they flickered back and forth from sight and then darkness. He could go on no longer. From his spot in the air he began to fall. Descending down until he finally crashed against the glass below him, cracking it as he impacted. He felt no pain from the fall, all he felt was the lack of suspension as he was now grounded. Mat must have stopped the star or he would have fallen for much longer.... Did that mean Owarii was safe? Were all the others safe? Surely Khaotica would not let them die...

Owarii quickly put her hands up to cover her eyes as the star formed and illuminated everything in sight. She was afraid that the sun would burn her alive... but it didn't? The flames came short of her as she moved her arms away. Then the sun was gone in an instant. Had Lindo saved her from the sun? Kept her safe? That must be it.... But then Owarii quickly looked up to find Lindo. She saw him in the air still, but his body had gotten much darker now. Still, Owarii smiled. He was ok.

Those happy feelings were quickly doused as she watched Lindo fall. Her eyes grew wide. Something was wrong. Very wrong. Just before Lindo hit the ground Owarii jumped down into the glass floor of the arena. She slipped and fell to the ground, not expecting the glass. She heard the loud crash, the shattering of glass, and she was forced to look up. There he was. Laying on the ground. Without thinking she picked herself up and ran towards Lindo. Owarii was a mess. Her arms flailed as she ran to him. His body seemed so distant now and it felt like an eternity before she finally reached him. There was only one thought that went through her mind.

"No."

She repeated it over and over, a thousand times screaming it in her head. Owarii fell to her knees over Lindo's shadowed body. "No...." Owarii sobbed, her voice cracking as her tears fell down he cheeks and impacted his chest. He wasn't moving. He wasn't breathing..... "No. No. No. No. No......" She muttered on and on. He couldn't die. He was to strong. He was to smart. He was the only thing that kept her going. The only thing that made her whole. Owarii couldn't even breath now. Small sounds crept up from her through as she tried to cry out, but nothing much.... Owarii did not know what to do.

Lindo waited, holding on for as long as he could. He had to. For the longest time there was nothing. His vision flicked less and less now. He could sometimes hear what he thought was sound, but he wasn't sure. Crying? A flash of form came across his vision. Owarii? It was almost to blurry to tell who it was. He had to focus just a little more, but he could tell it was definitely her. She was probably worried sick. He knew her mind was very fragile now. Her mind was likely vulnerable to any influence.... Especially his. He had to focus. The last of his existence was needed, here and now. One last push and he could finally let go. With the last of himself... Lindo's hand raised from the ground and touched Owarii's wet cheek. Lindo finally said his last words...

"Lets go home...."

Owarii tried to close her eyes. Tried to retreat to a different place. Tried to pretend no of this was real, it couldn't be. He was still alive. He was still in the same world as her, always and forever. No matter how hard she squeezed her eyes, the tears still fell. She couldn't stop them. She couldn't change anything. As hope in her died she felt the sudden touch to her cheek. Her eyes opened. He was alive.... her parted lips smiled and she let out a sigh that was almost like a laugh. Hope again. She was filled with purpose. It was almost enough to make her heart stop entirely. Before she could get a word out she saw his lips move. Then everything stopped. Owarii felt a pulse inside her. Her mind was blank.... and then her stomach began to move on its own. Her teeth ripped through her clothing and her second mouth was now open, breathing a foul breath of death. Owarii was worried at first as she was filled with a need to consume.... But then she saw him. He was calling out to her and suddenly she felt calm. Peace. Owarii knew what he wanted.... To go home. She looked down at him, smiling slightly. Her tears had stopped and her wet cheek began to start drying. "Mmmh Hmm...." She mumbled as she caught her breath happily during a moment of pause.

Then furry. Ripping, shredding, and consuming all at once in a show of bloody violence that was almost to hard to watch. Owarii delved down into him, her teeth piecing his flesh and taking in all of his body. The tongue flashed from he second mouth and pulled in any and all pieced of black flesh that were severed from Lindo's body. Sound of bones snapping, of flesh being ripped apart along with muscle and fat. Owarii's body was taking in Lindo, absorbing him instantly into her body. First consumption.... Then corruption. Owarii leaned over what small pieced were left, her hands holding her up as they pressed down on the glass. Her breathing was heavy, for both of her mouths. Her second tongue still slid across the ground, lapping up any black blood and flesh that was left behind by her teeth.

After it finished Owarii sat up. She looked up into the sky, into the flickering light left behind by Lindo's spell... Tears began to fall once again as she realized what she had just done. As the tears dripped down her body a blackness crept up on her. Slowly she lost feeling. She lost the ability to move her arms, her legs, or anything else. Looking up a the sky she finally understood and accepted it. She could be together with him forever. Short small laughs that were more like gasps of air left her mouth before the darkness in her skin crept up her neck and then consumed the last of her. One last tear fell before Owarii had turned completely black..... And then started to fall apart like ash. The wind blew and Owarii's body was quickly swept away. The petrified form that looked up at the sun faded with a smile on its face.

OWARII still stood next to Ukaia and Khaotica up in the spectators seats.... She said nothing and didn't even breath. Her hair covered her eyes and her mouth gave off a blank expression.
