Vee couldn’t help but to look at him and smile as she wondered if he knew the origin of her name. “Thank you. My mom named me. All credit must go to her,” she simply stated though fought hard not to roll her eyes at her mother’s wicked sense of humor. She watched from the corner of her eye, so to speak, as he ran his finger around something. She tried to think of what it could be but was given the answer when the smell of water hit her. She wondered if he had done the same feat again but left the thought behind as she became distracted in his words as he spoke about the Inn. She looked at him in amazement as his kindness seemed to know no bounds. “So willing to be so helpful to a very large and diverse crowd of people. Not just people but complete strangers. I'm sure everyone simply adores that big heart of yours.” The second dish seemed to disappear faster than the first one as she wasn’t being so self conscious in the midst of conversing with G.R. “Three things,” she stated in a matter of fact tone with a playful smile, “First, please tell me you are going to join me in dining. Even if it’s just to nibble on something. Eating alone but within the presence of company feels a bit awkward. Second, what do you mean by it’s a way for it to recognize its customers? Is the Inn alive? And, last but not least, I’m an assassin.” The smile never faded from her face and her easy tone never changed as she admitted her profession, though mainly because the term wasn’t what she preferred to use. She thought herself a predator, for sure, as that was just what she was born as. Though, in this land people obviously called what she did assassination so she had adopted the term.
