The Plot:
XXXXXXXXHello and well met traveler, welcome to our humble home.
Our names are Aya and Kit, snow and fire, and we are the owners of this not so humble bar. Come, let us tell you a little of what you have stumbled across.
Years ago after an exhaustive battle the queen of vampires, Aya, lay injured near a distant forest. A kitsune, Kit, traveling nearby felt her pain and found her. Kit healed her of her wounds and gave her enough energy to battle the exhaustion. Once Aya awoke the two of them spoke at length and struck up an instant friendship. As both were traveling the world they decided to travel together and did so until Aya's two guards, Alex and Demetri, found them.
The four of them traveled for a while longer before the weariness of the road set in and they decided to settle at one of Aya's mansions. After some discussion Aya and Kit decided to set up part of the mansion as a bar and home for those like themselves.
The Mansion:
XXXXXXXXUpon approaching the mansion the first thing one would see is tall wrought iron gates inset in gray stone walls that stand open. A walk lined with flowers leads to the intricate double doors that lead into the large, Victorian style mansion. There is something dark about the place, whether it is the colors that it carries or something else one isn't sure, but there is a welcoming feeling none the less.
The doors open into the main bar, along one wall is a wood bar, hand carved with vines and matching stools in front of it, the rest of the room is a mix between tables and couches. Opposite of the bar is a large fireplace that dances cheerily in the candlelit room. In the back of the room are three doorways, two of them are opening without doors while the other is closed.
The one on the right leads to a ballroom, granite floors and beautifully walls covered in beautiful murals reflect the soft light back on itself from the chandlers above, a grand piano stands to one side for any that wishes to play.
The center doorway leads to a dining room, small intimate tables line the walls along with large ones in the center of the room, all of which have candle sticks in the middle of them to provide lighting in the dim room, above the room the ceiling is painted to resemble a clear nights sky, the full moon and the stars a sliver that reflects the candlelight. In the back of the room are two large glass doors that lead out back.
Through the closed doorway on the left are stairs that lead to the rooms that are currently open on the second floor, of which there are currently thirty open to those that wish to stay. The stairway continues up past the open floors to lead to the rooftop which is covered in a gorgeous garden with benches tucked here and there for those who wish to sit and enjoy the beauty.
Behind the mansion is a hedge maze, the walls of which stand 10 feet tall that leads back against some cliffs. At the center of the maze backing up against the cliff in a small clearing where a waterfall pools before turning into a stream and wandering off to the side and under the hedges.
