Welcome to Gaia! ::

Ok, so this is something that I've been wanting to do for a while now, and I know both of my brothers would like to see this place up as well. My brothers are Zeke_Lnez who is a little older than me, and Azbogah, who is a little younger than I am. Well, now is the time for the place to be unveiled and to be shown off. This is our place and we wish that you will respect the rules and restrictions that we will set forth.

The place has two floors. The bottom floor is for everyone, and the second floor has rooms for the guests. The bedrooms have Queen sized beds with a night stand beside it, and a lamp sitting ontop of that. There is also a comfortable couch in one corner, with another lamp close by for reading or other things like that. Every room has an attached personal bathroom equiped with a shower as well.

The first floor like I said before is for everyone to enjoy. We have a bar that stocks the best of drinks. A dance floor is in one corner, next to a DJ booth. There is a small stage for a band, or singers to perform on if they so wish. There is another stage for dancers and ect. Poles are already equipped to that stage, usesage is not required. To the right of the front door is a dart board, and the score board is just to the right of that. The barstools are cushiony, not plain flat wood that tends to chafe the butt. Smoking is permitted, but must ask for an ashtray, they are kept behind the bar.

Behind the bar is a door that leads back into a VIP room, no one is allowed in there unless told so by Me (Rekol) or by my brothers. Those of you that are allowed in will know before hand usually. Basically our closest friends.

This is a full discription of all of the runes drawn on the ceiling, walls, and floor, and waht they all do:

Day 1: Front Door and Walls
As Zeke continued on the front door the grand scale of what he was carving was slowly becomeing aparent.
Though at first it appeared to be chicken scratch if one stepped back and looked at the whole thing you
could see that it was several thousand tiny runes that were all intertwining together that would eventually
form one big giant rune that would consumed the entire door. Zeke was almost done with the front door. The general shape the pattern was taking looked like this:

α

With several crisscrossing thin lines of runes but all holding to the general curve and shape of the pattern. He ran in a perfectly straight line to the opposite wall from the door. Once again, Zeke looked to his book that was still open to the same page but completely different shapes and images were all over the pages constantly changing. He placed the transparent silver chisel against the wall and started to carve. Once again it looked like random chicken scratch his hand skidding this way and that, jumping around seemingly randomly. The lines of tiny runes were starting to take shape. If you looked at it from a distance you could see it was taking it's own pattern and shape but would exaclty mirror the space taken up by the front door. There would even be a blank spot for the door knob.
Once it was finished it took the shape of this:

Ω

Zeke picked up the toolcase and put the chisel back in, which it promptly vanished. Zeke walked to the middle of the room and placed the book open on the floor. As soon as the book left his hands it went blank. Zeke reached inside of the toolcase and pulled two huge crystals out each one shimmering silver. He placed each in a different fist. Zeke extended his hands out in a T formation. With an earsplitting boom two strokes of silver lightening shot out from each crystal impacting the wall and carving into it. Each side started on the right side of the two door sized rune patterns and slowly worked there way acrossed as Zeke spun and as the bolts of lightning continued to jump up and down sizzling and sparking and popping the marks left behind began to glow blue, silver, red, and black in seemingly random places. The pattern they were forming was an extremley intracate set of celtic knotwork all the way around connecting the front door with it's partner on the opposite wall. The lightening flashed away when he finished his curcuit, but the air still hummed from the power that had just been used. It was like a series of holographic images. One moment you would look at the walls and would see the word 'Omega' repeated over and over again as part of the knotwork and then you'd see 'Alpha'. Another time you'd see 'Trinity'. Another time you'd see 'Unity'. And lastly you'd see 'Tetsumi', 'Metsumi', 'Astralaka Darkata', and 'Holensen' respectfully over and over again. It was still yet to be understood what angle, if it was an angle, showed which words. Then Zeke started work on the ceiling. He quickly floated up to the roof with his empty toolcase and book. In a few moments he reached the middle of the top of the wall directly above the front door. Now Zeke was carving furiously his arm going up and down faster and faster. Even though Zeke's arm was moving now blindingly fast he started floating almost imperceptabley slow towards the door's right. He was slowly drifting around the entire roof this way. The pattern he was carving was just that complicated. This was going to take quite some time. As Zeke moved enough along his path some of the carving became visible. It was 7 different sets of celtic knotwork patterns that were randomly intertwining among each other each time in a different way. The entire thing seemed to be telling a story but you can't quite tell what it is yet. Zeke kept furiously working never wavering a bit. He had almost reached the 1/4 mark. At this point it seemed the seven different knot-patterns intertwined alot, almost every two inches, where as before it had only been occasionaly and the top four almost never intertwined, except for here. Zeke moved farther along the ceiling edges continueing to carve his arm moving up and down a mere blur. The frequency of the intertwinements leveled out until it was only once or twice per foot except the third and forth from the top kept intertwining about every 3 inches or so. The story whatever it was unfolded more. Zeke was almost half-way done. Zeke continued his curcuit. He was approaching the 2/3 mark. All but one of the knot-patterns had leveled out, however the second one from the top was going all over the place finding ways to intertwine with all of the others almost seeming to take them over. This continued to almost the end. At about the 7/8 mark it would level back out mostly. Zeke finished the ring the knot-patterns coming into a perfect seem with the begining of themselves. Zeke then flew back to the middle of the ceiling and started carving. Now he was swiftly flying all over the place, not unlike a bee would within a hive. He would carve one cluster of runes in one place then fly off to a seemingly random place and carve another cluster of runes. Zeke moved faster and faster since it was a relatively similar pattern of runes he carved each time it didn't take much concentration so he could move faster. It started to look like this:

Zeke came to rest for a moment to admire everthying so far.

Day 2: Ceiling and Floor
Zeke picked up the toolcase. The book obediently lifted up off the ground floating near his left hand. Zeke placed the tips of the fingers of his left hand against the floor and thin silver lightening shot across the floor lifting everything that was against it into the air about 3 feet. Chairs, tables, shelves, people, all into the air and floating there. Zeke started to fall forward as if to fall flat on his face. Zeke stopped less than an inch from the floor. he then lifted up away from it until he was about a foot away parallel to the floor. Zeke zoomed acroosed the floor to the middle. He reached inside his empty toolcase grasped his hand around apparently nothing and pulled out a silver transparent chisel. He opened his book to an apparently random page. The page swarmed with shapes and symbols all constantly changeing and seemingly completely random. Glanceing to the book once or twice Zeke began to carve. Sometimes he would carve furiously other times he would carve just a few strains of runes. As Zeke continued on he picked up speed. Working with the same furvor as before the general pattern of the floor was begining to take shape. It was the top view of a spiraling downward funnel cloud. Jagged straines of runes going this way and that on the outer edges could be seen, the apparent beginings of lightening. However, the whole thing looked kinda sketchy. Zeke stopped and stood up from his carving. The funnnel cloud now looked simply breathtaking it almost seemed as if it was actually slowly rotating. Each different strain of runes glowed a different color making the twister look almost real. Zeke swiftly walked to the center and replaced the chisel in the toolcase which it promptly dissappeared. He reached back into the toolcase and pulled out a pure clear crystal the size of his chest. Zeke then fell upwards coming to a rest standing on the middle of the ceiling looking down on the floor holding the crystal out above his head(or below?). All of the furniture and what not slammed into the wall and slidding up the wall giving a clear view of the floor.((place a mr.green in your next post to show that you read this, it is important)) Zeke's grin faded away lost in a sea of concentration. A few seconds later three huge silver lightening bolts slammed into the floor from the crystal with a boom that shook the entire inn, rattleing glasses, bottles, and such. The lightening kept swirling and where it was touching the floor sparks were shooting everywhere and a sizzleing and popping sound could be heard. The lightening was blindingly bright, but it only lasted for a few moments. The three bolts came to a point in the center as another boom and shockwave emited from the center of the room twice as powerful sounding, but there was no force, however you could feel the thump deep in your chest as it hit your soul. Hazy smoke filled the room. The crystal was nowhere to be seen, but where it had been with Zeke was now a crystal chandelleir which the entire array of runes seem to focus on that point. The runes were quickly fading out dissappearing into the fabric of the place.

Day 3: The Implementation and Explenation
The Implementation:
Zeke stood from the stool he had been sitting and set his drink on the counter. He stood directly beneath the chandileer and thrust his arms upwards as twin streams of pure Astral energy poured from his hands into the chandileer. At the same moment there was a audible thump to the air and Zeke was completely transparent, energy seeming to easily bleed off of him in wisps. Silvery wings 86' feet in span, eminating indiscribable amounts of power appeared from Zeke as he shifted to his essence, that of an Astral Elemental. As the energy hit the chandileer the runes on the walls, floor, and ceiling flared to life. There was a soul wrenching scream echoing through the inn and it would take a few moments to realize it was Zeke's voice crying out in strain. There was one last thump that shook the building as the chandileer vanished and the runes remained on the walls.
The Explenation:
The front door was the simplist and most straight forward. It bound psionics and weakened muscles and reflexes to normal human means. It's balancing partner on the opposite wall removed any form of elemental touch, but was etched with a custom exception that if you were in fact an elemental it just caged your essence so as to make you impotent in that respect. The connecting celtic knotwork was a bind on all forms of weapons, be it natural or artificial. At first it simply sealed the magical properties of the weapon so as to not embarass newcomers. It then had a program like thinking proccess that analized the danger of the weapon after the seal and if it was still potentially lethal to anyone present in anyway, the weapon was then placed within a dimensional pocket to be released upon speaking the command word. The walls were also the power house of the runes. The used four different extremely powerful essences to power the runes. The power of the Omega, the power of the Alpha, the Power of the Trinity, and the power of the unifying force. If a patron was naturally strong of build and still after this desided to be a problem there is an exception built in for the four weapons that are under the possesion of the brothers. Technologically based weapons are immediately placed in dimensional pockets.
The roof's edge was carved the story of the seven major gods/goddesses of the Realms all the way from the begining to now. It then procceded to seal their presence and calling out of the inn, thus striping any priest or cleric of their power. Underlying in a hidden pattern was a pathway that if any god or goddess attempted to touch or contact anyone it would channel the power into the walls to strengthen the runes further. The Center of the roof was an intertwineinig, overlaping set of symbols for all of the major gods/goddesses which serves a duel purpose of buffering the seal against the dieties and preventing teleportation into the inn(yes you have to use the front door, that's what it's there for *wink*).
The floor was a simple power drain. If anyone was analyzed by the runes on the wall as dangerous and didn't fit any of the previously stated criteria was channeled to the floor's runes which drained every trace of power from the dangerous marked person to be returned to the person upon exit through the runes on the front door. The floor also provided a gateway conduit to the Astral Plane and the Abyss to people with the true name of Tristen Zinthos, Zeke L'nez, and Tyrael L'sol and anyone they escort.

Please note, that though harmful levels of power are sealed and contained non-lethal abilities are not. Things like a water elemental's ability to make an ice-flower still works, but on the same page if you tried to make the flower usably sharp or tried to freeze someone then the runes would activate on you. If there are any questions please ask either Rekol or Zeke ((preferabley Rekol, I already went through enough headache making these things))
The Inn is located on the second floor and their are 20 spacious rooms. You could stay nightly or possibly get a room to live in. 2 of these rooms are already owned, one by me and one by my brother Appreciative so there are only 18 to spare.

The rooms are adorned with a Queen sized bed, a dresser, a nightstand with a lamp on it. A cozy reading chair and a small bathroom.

Behind the bar is also a trap door that leads to a secret underground arena. You walk down a flight of stairs and come to an old wooden door. When you enter there is a large sparring ring in the middle and some benches and seats around the walls. The back of the door is enchanted with a barrier from it being destroyed, and for it to be soundproof as to not bother the people upstairs.

The entire room is enchanted by runes so that magic and other powers can't be used unless you are inside of the sparring ring. Once stepping in the ring your powers will once again work, their is an invisable barrier around it that protects the other people in the room. No attacks can leave the sparring ring, the barrier is inpenatrible.

"ok so...you put me in the rules but I don't have a room?... Oh, I get it I have the mansion down the street right?" He chuckles as he looks around.
"You have yet to ask for a room, which room would you like?" Shakes his head as he lounges into a chair and relaxes.
"The thirteenth room sounds good...So...what's happenin' here?" He walked over to a barstool and sat down immediately starting to spin.
"Nothing yet, just gotta get the word out that is place is up and running. Need to get people here so it's not so quiet."
DaGubba entered through the front doors and looked around. he liked the look of the place.
Rekol smiled at the man that came through. "Well hello there, and welcome to my place. Is there anything I can get you to drink?"
Zeke attempted to glance over but he didn't want to stop spinning so he couldn't quite get a clear picture of him. " He-...ll-...oo!..."
"Hello my good sir. a beer if u may." he said with a nod to each of them.
A young girl walked in smiling sweetly. She soon made her way to the bar, and sat close to the end. She then looked around curiously. " Hello?"
Rekol went behind the bar and grabbed a bear. Setting it on the counter for the man. Looking over at the girl at the end he smiled and bowed his head. "Hello there ma'am."
