She smiled as she watched Vladimir zone out into thoughts, maybe of a past memory and continued to look outside until the taxi actually started to slow down. When Vladimir got out she waited a split second to give him a chance to help her out of the car, and sure enough he came right around and opened her door.

She smiled graciously and tilted her head in thanks as she put her hand in his and was helped out of the car. The place she saw in front of her was charming in all its own, A dance studio eh?...This is quite the surprise a most interesting one... She turned her head over towards Vladimir, "Can you dance then? Most guys I've know as of late have lacked that particular skill.." she grinned.

She laced her arm through the crook in his shoulder and inclined her head, " Let us, im quite curious to see just what exactly you've brought me too.."

"Well, I fortunately had to pleasure of learning such a skill and used it to pay for quite a bit of my schooling." Vladimir grinned at Scarlett as he led her to the front door of the dance studio and opened the door for her to enter. Going through the front door, he continued to lead her inside and down a hallway decorated with many large photographs of people dancing, most black and white while some were in color. Under each photo were small golden signs with the names of the dancers engraved into them and the years they were taken along with a small description. Small vases with beautiful flowers were placed on top of narrow side tables along the walls inbetween photos.

"Now there will be some eccentric people here, some of them rather brilliant but aloof. There should also be a few individuals that could help you get into that teaching position depending on whether or not you impress them. Isabella has quite the list of friends in high places..." Leading Scarlett up the stairs slowly, he reached the second floor and finally saw an assistant waiting up ahead. "Good evening, Mister Putin. Lady Isabella has been expecting you greatly. May I take your coats, sir and madame?" Waiting for Scarlett to release his arm, he took off his longcoat and handed it to the genteman and waited for Scarlett to do the same before leading her into the party.

Inside the main dance room, there was at least four dozen people some dancing about while others talked and mingled. On one side of the dance floor a few long tables were set up with plenty of food and choices of fine wine and champagne. A small band of string players dressed in matching black suits were playing in the corner performing classical pieces. Much larger black and white photographs were framed in this room with much more elegant frames. One photo seemed to stick out more than the others as it had a few small trophies next to it along with vases of flowers. The photo was of a handsome and familiar young man and a gorgeous young woman in a long but passionate looking pose caught during a dance. Under the photo, in large beautifully engraved font were two names. Vladimir Putin and Isabella Auditre.

There was something irritating the skin above Henry's navel. Whatever he was laying on had the consistency of the wrong side of a sponge. It was only when he turned over that particularly uncomfortable pricking at his abdomen dissipated. The relief felt overwhelmingly good, so much so that it incited an arbitrary moan. He resumed his repose afterwards.

Where was he, he wanted to ask. Why did he feel so good? He no longer trembled under a nonexistent weight, nor did was his body being licked by hellish flames. Sound and scent were clear to him now, and touch had become differentiable from mental delusions. However, he dared not open his eyes. He didn’t want to see that damned tunnel whose walls of shadowy graffiti tasted of sweet, seductive sulfur.

A dull longing began to throb in his throat.

                                                  What am I?

He saw himself in his mind’s eye asking the question with the naivety of a child.

…like me, Henry. Just like your brother…

                                                  …killed Mom, and…

…We’re sorry, Henry. If you need anything—

Smothering his face into the mattress, he stifled an agonized cry. He begged furiously for sleep to overtake him, to grant him mercy. It was useless, he knew. The only thing that would satiate his sickly need was the very object of his desire.

Without another thought, Henry flung himself from the bed and found himself at the door faster than any normal person could’ve gotten there. By the time the detached knob had hit the floor on the other side of the room, the auburn-haired man was already clawing at the wallpaper at the end of the hall. His heightened sense of smell alerted him to various bodies of blood, all waiting to be devoured completely and wholly by him.

She grinned over at Vladimir as he told her about the party and as they walked down the hallway she enjoyed looking at the pictures there. When they got up at the top of the stairs she waited for Vladimir to give his coat over to the person who was taking them and then she took off hers too.

In one brillant sweep of her arm it was off and she was already handing it to the greeter. Her long red dress was revealed in all its glory and she turned back to Vladimir and gave him one of her brilliant smiles. "So your a dancer, i admire that in a man..." she winked and then continued to lace her arm through his elbow again..."and is one of the women I'm suppose to scare away this Isabella?" she joked with him as he lead her into the party. Scarlett's grace and poise immediately out shinned every other person in the room, and she also spotted the picture, as it was not hard to miss. "Looks like the two of you have an interesting history, that's for sure.."

Vladimir continued to smirk and grin at Scarlett as she spoke and shook his head. "No no...she is just an old friend who helped me pay for my schooling and it has been quite a while since we last met..." He said then stopped as Scarlett noticed the picture and so did he. His eyes widened at the sight of the picture and his mouth dropped slightly. "Oh..."

Already a couple of the guests began taking notice to Vladimir and his guest to the party, causing a small bit of chatter about the two. Out of the crowd, a woman's voice breaks through the chatter and the music. "Vladimir! It's about time you arrived! How dare you keep me waiting of all people?!?" Parting the crowd, a woman who stood only an inch shorter than Vladimir strode forward wearing a very form fitting black dress that was a bit revealing as her long black hair flowed elegantly behind her.

Disregarding the fact that Vladimir had brought a guest, Isabella quickly walked up to Vladimir and cupped his face in her hands gently before leaning forward kissing him. Vladimir was incredibly embarrassed by this but could not resist as the kiss brought back the fantastic memories of when they were partners even when they weren't dancing. Still keeping most of his composure, he kissed back for only a few seconds before raising his hand to her should and pulled her away from him. "My dear Isabella...still as passionate as ever I see."

Many of those at the party were already snickering at what was going on while others returned to their drinks and conversations. The music continued once more and slowly everyone turned back to what they were doing. "Isabella, I would like you to meet my guest for the party tonight, Scarlett. Scarlett, this is Lady Isabella Auditre." Vladimir said and hoped that the moment wasn't too awkward.

Just as Kaos was about to attempt to wake the unconscious vampire, he flipped over on the bed, followed by a very weird moan. 'Good. He's awake.' the musician thought with a sigh as he ran his fingers through the short black hair on the back of his head, "wonder why he was passed out from before..."

Scarlet eyes ran across the lanky male form sprawled across the bed. He had a certain hidden grace to him, but that was soon lost when he rolled over and muffled a loud scream. The Lasombra stepped back, obviously weirded out by the sudden outburst. It wasn't too long before the vampire he was catering to, flew off the bed, and bolted out the door.

"--the hell is going on!” Kaos growled, "Hey, dude!" Just using the word 'dude' reminded him that he hadn't learned the newcomer's name yet. The confused vampire strode quickly out the room and into the hall where he found the Ventrue clawing at the wall at the dead end of the hall.

"...Why are the Ventrue so weird?" the aggravated musician groaned as he watched the weird sight. 'What the hell am I doing?' Kaos had been so distracted by the situation, that he had forgotten that he could simply try and read the newcomer’s thoughts, instead of asking questions that he knew wouldn't receive answers anytime soon. He reached out mentally, easily taking in the strangers thoughts. It was always easier when he read the minds of those from other clans and humans, usually because they lacked the ability to put up a mental guard. Or at least a strong one.

The results he received were quite interesting, after he had recovered from the way the thoughts literally screamed in the male’s head. First off, his name was Henry. For some reason, Kaos expected a name more 'out there' for someone with such a weird personality. Next this guy was thirsty. What made things worse: he was new. Even though fledglings were...stupid in Kaos's opinion, newbie vampires of the Ventrue along with Toreador were often very strong early in their vampire lives. He didn't want anything bad to happen with this kid, Henry, around, so he took the chance, and tore his own wrist open with his enhanced canines.

"Hey, Henry. Get over here" he called, hoping that the mere scent of his blood would get the fledgling's attention.

Blade eyes widened from the vampire standing in front of him. Standing up he looked the vampire up and down, "What do you want? Your not the kind to attack humans." Crossing his arms he knew he was still in danger but refused to back down since he knew Luna was in the building. He just stood there waiting then a blur was in front of him. Rubbing his eyes there was Luna with her arms wide open. He could tell by the way she was standing that she was upset.

Luna turned around quickly and picked up Blade and ran. She began to mumble curses under her breath but she kept her mind blank so he wouldn't find her later. Running toward her safe house she knocked Blade out so he wouldn't find the place later. She went to a apartment and laid him down. Beginning to pace she sighed knowing that this would mess up the one relationship she had with a Vampire. Sitting down next to Blade she looked down at his sleeping face. She brushed her fingertips against his cheek and couldn't help but smile, "Blade wake up," she whispered to him like she used to.

The saliva pooling from the corners of his lips overflowed tenfold as Henry turned his head at neck-break speed. Live meat was being dangled in front of him, the sinful juices exposed to nostrils like a mesmerizing perfume. An animalistic cry ripped its way out from within him, and he lunged voraciously at his meal.

…is how your mother was eaten.

He stopped painfully short of the first bite, his fangs so close that bits of spittle flew onto the exposed flesh. Abruptly, the beast in him fell back as Henry toppled to the side, taking chunks of the flimsy wall with him on his way down. The ever-present black tunnel pulsed around him with countless voices, the demons he thought he’d overcome so long ago. Some came as sharp curses while others attacked as a crescendo of shrieks and sobbing. The cacophony began to distort his remaining senses. Even the tantalizing scent of blood that had been commandeering him just seconds before now cut through the skin between his fingers and toes like tiny blades. His body jerked in multiple spasms yet he was unable to muster enough strength to cover his ears or even scream.

                                                  Be a good boy, Henry.

His own mental cries were rendered as memories that exploded away in brilliant flashes of light in the dark tunnel. He saw himself falling off his bicycle. He saw his mother struggling to get into her wheelchair. He saw his bones crunch under the wheels of an SUV. He saw his sister-in-law scream until the blood streamed down her chin—and with the territory of blood, the memory of feeding for the first time; that intense, savory smell.

Henry crinkled his toes and clenched his fists as the blades cut deeper, but the familiar throbbing in his throat gave rise to a new cause for concern. The unbearable thirst began to consume the last of his conscience until his vision turned as red as the sudden rage that ignited in his heart. He no longer saw the fragments of memories or felt the offending blades; the voices began to falter. Right before Henry slipped away entirely, he caught sight of a lone figure fading away with the spiraling tunnel. His mother stood there, shrunken in and pale. The skin around her lips cracked and fell off the bone as she smiled at him.

All at once, the voices were silenced. It was temporary as a few straggling words darted passed the barrier. Still, they were nothing against the immaculate madness that moved the man now. The beast had been resurrected. Its drive for blood would no longer be questioned.

This is who you are now.

The vampire got up as the delusion came to an end. His violet eyes were dull and empty save for the thirst that guided his sight back to the bared wrist. He eyed the crimson for a split second more and finally clamped down on it, gnawing through as many veins as he could despite the wound having already been open.

As expected, the fledgling threw himself at the musician with ferocity. His desperation was obvious as a ferocious growl ripped from the depths of his throat. Kaos actually took a step back, a very rare occurrence. Henry's reaction had been the most extreme he had experienced in the five short immortal years of his life. The Lasombra tightened his fist, and braced himself for the bone crushing bite that he was soon to receive.

Just as he thought he was going to feel the other's jaws enclose around his wrist, the Ventrue stopped just short of the thick undead blood that trickled sluggishly down the side of Kaos's arm. Probably the closest the vampire ever got was the spray of saliva on the Lasombra's wrist, which he really did not take delight in. He already had trouble letting someone else suck on his arm. It was just insulting to have him just drool on his arm. The least the fledgling could do was get his fill already. Instead, he flew back, crushing the already crumbling walls, and the musician watched, eyebrow raised as he twitched erratically on the chunks of wall he had landed on.

Kaos buried his face in his hand -the non bleeding one- and shook his head. This was going to be a waste of time. He just knew it. He had never seen anybody act this badly, and he knew that Lua definitely hadn't seen something like this either. It this situation, his twin would have most likely fled the scene. The scarlet eyed brother on the other hand, was still wondering why he was trying to take care of this fledgling who looked like he was doing everything in his power to further destroy the already disheveled Crimson Rose.

It was more dangerous curiosity than concern that drove his next thought. 'What exactly is causing this guy to act so stupidly' but it was quickly followed by another nagging thought: 'Do I want to know? Do I really what to know?' Of course, he allowed his curiosity to overtake his senses, and as soon as he took the chance to reach out and touch the other's mind, thoughts rushed into his head like a flash flood. The thoughts were random at best, flashing between awfully skewed scenes that seemed to be pulled straight from a 'slice of life' movie gone awry.

Kaos felt himself stepping back a few more paces. He was becoming overwhelmed, sinking into the chasm of memories that flickered mercilessly, screaming through his mind. The raw pain of Henry's became his own, and he choked out a ragged howl that had unconsciously clawed itself from his very throat. This was enough. Too much for the young Lasombra to handle. He squeezed his eyes shut, only realizing that they had already been, and his eyelids mashed together tighter as he concentrated harder to pull himself from the dense tide of memories that he had been drowning in.

When he had finally managed to drag himself out of Henry's mind, he found himself back in the broken shelter of the Rose. The cellist had actually found himself trembling, his back pressed against the wall, cracks forming from the force of his body pushing against it. It was quiet, though. All the voices gone, the shredding memories faded into the darkness. The only noise was that of heavy breathing coming from the thirsty Ventrue nearing him, and even Kaos himself found his chest rattling as he pointlessly gasped for the useless air.

The oddly familiar sensation of teeth burying themselves in his flesh had compressed his wrist, but it was more agressive than he had ever experienced. Henry seemed intent on cutting through any possible vein hidden beneath his skin. Kaos allowed the fledgling to get a decent fill, but the Lasombra knew his energy was limited. He was stretching himself too thin after he had let Luna get a sip from earlier. He knew he going to have to stay inside a lot more often after this, and maybe avoid a few fights...

When he decided that Henry had enough, he ran his fingers smoothly through the other's silken locks of air before grasping tightly near the scalp, and tearing his head away from the arm. He grasped for the nonexistent sleeve of his trenchcoat, and realized that he had left it with Luna. His next defense was to pull the exposed arm behind his back.

Henry clung to his head, panting heavily and licking his lips clean. The beast withdrew a bit as did the crimson monochrome of the vampire’s vision while the nourishment circulated through his body. However, the arduous throbbing of his throat lingered as a warning that he needed more.

“P-please—“ Henry plead hoarsely, warm tears stinging his eyes. He raised his head to try and meet the other man’s gaze. “Let me have more. It hurts so much. I-I can’t take it!”

The mouthwatering scent of blood was more concentrated now, even as the other man hid the gash behind him. Without thinking, Henry flitted around the man so the wound was once again in sight. The beast let out a ghastly snarl at the spectacle.

                                                  “I want…”

He didn’t finish. He couldn’t because the more he smelled the blood, the more the blood didn’t smell like that of all his other victims up until now. There was an alien element laced in the sanguine fluid that almost put it into a class on its own. Was this man that he just fed on even human?

The omnipresent thirst, on the other hand, wasn’t afflicted in the least. Once again, Henry moved to complete his meal. His arms flew out, one latching about the other man’s shoulders and the other tightly around the mutilated wrist. He had barely adjusted to bring the wound, the beautiful bloody oasis to his mouth when a simple phrase reverberated through his mind.

                                                  Be a good boy, Henry.

Not even the beast could threaten the emotional tidal wave that rocked Henry’s heart. He threw the other man from his embrace and unleashed a bloodcurdling howl.

Why was his past tormenting him so? Why couldn’t he move on? He’d already accepted everything—death and rebirth as a monster. So why?

“WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!” he bellowed until the rickety walls shook with him. Tears of anger streamed down his face as he continued. “I don't have any regrets! None! ...I just want to live. I can’t give up like you guys did. I can’t let go when there’s so much to do.” He slammed his fist into a nearby portrait, succumbing to a pitiful series of sobs, his thirst momentarily forgotten.

                                                  “I’m not even married yet…”

He expected the memory of the doomed wedding from a week before to come to mind, but instead, a strange silence played out. His heart felt tremendously heavy, but he couldn’t change his feelings over that. Really, he was alright with being a monster. Really.

                                                  Liar.

Henry laughed between hiccups and continued to stare at the damaged portrait.

Luna got up and brushed her fingers against Blades cheek and sighed. She hated to leave him alone once again but she knew it would keep him safe from her. She looked once more behind her and was gone.
Using her speed to get to the manor she didn't see what time it was but she had a feeling that she should get there quickly and try to make Kaos understand and not be upset. Soon members of her clan jumped in front of her. Three male vampires and one female looking to only be one or two years older then her but in true age they were older vamps. Stopping in front of them she had a straight face and had her held up straight. She noticed she was only a few blocks away and she already knew that these simple fools wanted.
Rolling her shoulders she didn't even bother getting in a fighting stance knowing it would piss them even more off. "We want to demote you." Just tilting her head she was quite and they moved going there full speed. Circling around her she closed her eyes and yawned, one male losing the pattern they were doing charged at her.
Stepping back she grabs him by the back of his shirt and slams him down so he landed on his back. Spinning she did a drop kick hitting him in his jaw, opening her eyes they got a bit redder. The male below her foot laid still knocked out from the blow.
Crossing her arms she waited the female vampire looked down at the male on the ground and Luna smirked since it looked like he was her mate. The female vampire became savage and used her nails to cut Luna. To the woman it looked like Luna was just standing there but Luna was just moving to fast for a this vampires eye to catch. The female vampire became more upset and cocked her arm back to aim for the heart. Luna moved back and shifted so she was to the woman's left. While she moved forward Luna swung her leg back bending it at the knee she swung to hit the girl. Luna's knee contacted to the girls side and sent her flying to the ally's wall.
Luna lowered her leg slowly, "This is why I'm the Clan leader of the Ventrue," she stepped over them and walked the rest of the way to the manor.

Kaos glowered, his eyes half-lidded and tired. Henry hadn't exactly drained the Lasombra of all his recently acquired energy, but the combination of being overwhelmed with those twisted memories as well as allowing the fledgling to feed was exhausting. The cellist forced out an exhausted sigh his hand still clamped to the Ventrue's hair. The man was begging- pleading to drink more. Wasn't what he had offered more than enough?

”No, Henry." he said firmly, although words meant nothing to a hungry vampire, "You've had enough! Get yourself together." The man didn't listen. He tore himself from Kaos's grasp, and seized his arm. 'Out of all the ******** guests we get, I had to meet this one' It was obvious Kaos was not enjoying this. He was in a situation where was weakened temporarily, and about to be drained until he turned to dust, judging by the way things worked. Usually, he was always lucky to have Lua nearby, but now his brother was far away, and had kept his distance ever since he had brought Luna home. Then there was that fight, and afterwards, he had passed out. The only one there when he woke was Luna, who had taken him outside to regain his energy. He hadn't even made up with his twin, who was out chasing that immature emotion feeder, Ether.

Kaos was suddenly pushed away, hard, by his captor. He wheeled back a few steps before regaining his balance. His eyes flicked back to Henry, who began screaming hysterically again, smashing the walls in his tantrum. He was one of those fledglings. The ones who were filled with regret, and wanted to die. God. How annoying.

Kaos had enough of this. He had a lot more important things to do besides deal with this baby. With a steady but aggressive pace, he stalked over, the scarlet hues of his eyes burning. He grabbed the man by the shoulders, spinning them around so that they were face to face. The Lasombra said nothing, but built up enough anger in his right arm to fire it off as a hard punch to the face.

"Goddamn, Henry! Suck it up you whiny little punk. You're a vampire now. All you can do is just get over it and live your new life! If not, then you can just kill yourself, and I'll be more than happy to help you." he yelled at the vampire, a cruel smile tailing his last sentence.

Yeah. Kaos was pissed.

-{OOC| Sorry for the crap postage after such a long wait. @Alice-this isn't exactly the correct ooc format, I just make it like this because I think it’s pretty. Yeah, I need to stop joining so many roleplays. I just get lonely over here...@AngelLe- Its fine. Sorry about ditching you. I'm just trying to accommodate for everyone. I might had to break the cap off the charrie limit, and make a new character -_-;}-

Scarlett reached out her hand and inclined her head at Isabella, "Splendid to meet you, I hope you don't mind my intrusion on your party, Vladimir insisted that I come with him..."

Scarlett smiled beautifully and turned to Vladimir, "Would you like me to get something for you to drink so you can catch up with your old friend?" Scarlett inquired with a raised eyebrow. She truly had no idea what was going on here.

Life isn't always what you plan it out to be...

Isabella still focused most of her attention on her old dance and life partner, Vladimir, and continued to smile just for him. It was until at Vladimir's nudge and looks to his guest, Scarlett, that she turned and acknowledged Scarlett's presence. She was taken aback slightly by her seemingly unnatural beauty and seeming grace. "Oh, I do apologize, my dear. I must have gotten caught up in the moment of seeing my old dance partner..." Isabella pulled herself back from Vladimir and turned fully to Scarlett then took her hand and inclined her head. She had to admit that Vladimir still had good taste in women and was slightly jealous. "Intrusion? Don't worry, girl. It would be rather for Vladimir to arrive alone to a party of mine anyway."

Vladimir was still blushing slightly from the way Isabella approached him and kissed him like she used to. Thanking God that the two women were seeming getting along just fine for the moment, he breathed a sigh of relief and nodded to Scarlett's question. "If you don't mind. That and you can have a chance to meet some of the professors and no doubt some directors of education that are here. Am I right, Isabella?" Looking to Isabella, she nodded and waved her hand out to the crowd of guests that were still chatting amongst each other. "Of course, Vladi. You know I always have at least a couple of people of interest at my parties. I was always to more social one remember?" She said and smiled flashing her eyes back to Vladimir.

Waiting until Scarlett turned and went off to get drinks for them, Vladimir wrapped his arm around Isabella's lower back to her side and waved her to walk with him. "So, are you still dancing, Isa?" He asked and looked around at the room then to the framed picture of the two of them. Isabella lowered her head a little and nodded. "Yes, I still dance and even teach now. But I don't think I'll be able to dance like we used to...those days are gone unfortunately. Are you still striving to learn the history of the entire world before finally accepting any of the jobs those world known universities and museums are offering you?" Vladimir chuckled slightly at this and nodded. "Still striving...as always. I'm was happy to hear that you had opened this school and live in the world of dance. I just wasn't expecting for it to be here in America..." This time Isabella laughed and nodded. "Of course I still live in the world of dance, you silly man. I only breath, eat, and sleep in it every day. That's why when I met someone who could appreciate it and keep up with me, I couldn't just let them slip by."

Vladimir sighed deeply at this and lowered his head. "I am sorry, Isabella. I truly am." Finally reaching the painting, Isabella turned and brought a hand to the side of Vladimir's face running her finger along his cheekbone ever so gently. "You have nothing to be sorry about, my dear Vladi. It wasn't you who was hit by a car and injured your leg enough to not be able to dance like we used to. I just wish that you were there more for me right after the accident but I know now that you were unable to because of your trip in South Africa and the lack of communication equipment in that region." Vladimir looked directly into Isabella's eyes and smiled. "Thank you, Isa. I truly do cherish the time that we shared together and will remember it until the day that I finally leave this world. Just know that I still have a special place for you in my heart..." Reaching up, he took her hand in his and placed it on his chest where his heart was. Leaning forward, he pressed his lips against Isabella's ever so gently and smiled as he pulled back. "Now let's enjoy this evening party you have thrown and have some fun. Besides...I still have a guest I have to entertain."

Scarlett smiled at Isabella and nodded to Valdimir and then walked straight over to the tables with all the food and drinks on them, she smiled at the people as she walked by. She took two glasses of red wine for herself and Vladimir and she sipped at hers as she waited for him to be done talking with Isabella.

While she was waiting she struck up and interesting conversation with a local art history professor and found there were actually a couple of teacher openings she had not heard or read about yet. She made a mental note to keep them in mind, of course, she always had time on her side, she was never worried about when she would teach again, it would start back up again in due time.

She didn't like staying around to many places for long though, so thank god New York was such a big city. Hopefully she could stay around here for more than 20 years, by going to different teacher positions, if someone else from an old school saw her they wouldn't take a second glance probably, so it would be safe to assume no one would suspect her. Yes, she could probably stay around here for quite a long time, she smiled into her glass, a plot already whizzing through her head.

Scarlett watched out of the corner of her eye the two of them underneath there picture. The love between the two was unmistakable, and they most certainly had a past. The lighting in the room was romantic and Scarlett's wine red dress looked stunning on her as she walked around conversing with all the guests, she was a natural at parties. It came naturally of course after being to over a thousand of them.
