Another night of feeding. Another night of shame. At least Myu had just rid the world of another *****. After she had wiped the tears from her eyes, she began digging through the cabinets in the kitchen for candy. It was the only thing she really looked forward to after she sucked a man's emotion's dry. She finished checking the lower cabinets, and it was now time to check the higher ones. There they were. A whole stock of candy, including her most favorites, Pixy Sticks and Pocky. She grabbed as much as she could and shoved them into her pink schoolbag she had obtained a few years ago. When she had finished plundering the kitchen, her bag was so full, it looked like someone had stuffed two whole pillows in there, and aided by her vampiric strength, it felt the same as well. It was now time to leave.
Of course she could stay in the man's apartment until the next time before she moved on, but too many scarring memories had followed her there, as it did with the residences of her other 'victims'. How strange, she still felt like the victim, no matter who benefited more from her visits.
Myu poked her head out the door, looking both ways before stepping out onto the sidewalk. There weren't many people out at this time, but she didn't want to be seen, just in case someone like the guy she fed off of was hanging around. She took another look around before sneaking into an alley, spotting a girl who seemed to be hugging a tree, or at least, that's what she thought she saw. People like that didn't hang around at this time of night.
Now she cruised the back alleys, hopping over trash cans, and dodging garbage puddles, as well as avoiding stray dogs. She didn't know where she was going, she didn't have any plans, just to find somewhere comfortable to stay when morning hit. After a while, the alley had ended, dropping her in a very quiet and empty part of the city, where a large old abandoned hotel seemed to grace a whole block. That could work.
Little Myu approached the door, and turned the old knob. The door welcomed her with a creak as it opened. Hm. It looked a lot bigger inside. Then again, there wasn't much decoration except for the ancient paint peeling off the walls, and the faded cracked tiles beneath her shoes.
It seemed a while as she wandered the halls of each floor for a room. She wanted to find one with a bed, which many seemed to lack, and at the first one she saw, she hopped onto it, and dumped out her candy. Myu picked out a lollipop, and sucked on it thoughtfully, finally observing her new surroundings. By the looks of it, it almost seemed as though somebody lived in this room. . .
