As she stepped forward quickly, she lowered her right fist and aimed a punch at his lower left ribs.

Krav Maga was a means of survival. It taught one not only to defend themselves in any life or death situation that was ultimately man versus man nature. It also taught one how to sufficiently use their reflexes in attacks and counter attacks. Before he even trained in such an intense art, he had formerly learned that sometimes you had to take a hit, to deal a hit. You just had to make sure that you're hit was stronger. As the fist was fired, Bishop's eyes would take but a fraction of a second to process the trajectory and speed of the punch. Her jab would hit him in the ribs yes, though as that happened, his left fist was cocked and swung out in a vicious hook punch biting for her temple. This punch would either set her up for the knock out, or straight up knock her out. Though she needed to understand just how dirty this fight pit could get. Her current view of how most or all fights had noble purpose was one he would shred to pieces. She had to understand that sometimes, fighting was just fighting, or even something more such as a sport or a living...Literally someone's life. Some enjoyed it. Some hated it but were still drawn to it. And those that can't fight, love to watch. It was like inside every single human being there was a primal beast, scratching beneath the surface in times of great distress. Bishop had proven the knowledge of his beast within to himself. And since then, he was a completely different person. Did she have what it took to push through the pain and unleash hell upon Bishop, or was this fight finished? The fist would rock the side of her head with extreme prejudice just after her fist made solid purchase on Bishop's ribs. He felt immediate bruising, though he didn't suffer any fractures.

Goddammit.
Elesana had no way to block the punch. It was coming from her right, and her right hand was very preoccupied with punching Bishop in the ribs. Not that she even saw the punch in time to be able to block it, or dodge. She was too close, too invested, too late. As she caught sight of movement in the corner of her eye, she ducked her head a little, turning her face very slightly to her left out of reflex. His fist slammed into the side of her head rather than her temple, but stars still blossomed in her vision. She stumbled to the side with the force of it, then quickly took a few steps back, putting about two feet of distance between her previous and current positions. Pain seemed to resonate through her skull for a moment, and her right ear was ringing loudly, mixing oddly with the cheering of the crowd. She spat out a quiet curse as she pulled herself back together, hands up in a guard. She didn't give herself time to recover. She knew he wouldn't give her the time, either.

She kept facing him, refusing to turn her back to him. Turning her back on him in this pit would be like turning her back on a hungry lion in a cage with her. She knew better. Her green eyes were intense, almost glaring at him though she wasn't actually mad. Perhaps it was just a flicker of the beast he was trying to wake up in her. Her arms were back up in a guard, and she was trying to think through the now dull ringing and throbbing pain of her head. She had a left foot lead now, wondering what step to take now. She couldn't keep waiting for him to move, but she was a bit disoriented now and wasn't sure what to do.

Her head jerked like a rag doll accented with a small but definite move to the side. Though as she went to take a few steps back, Bishop would take two long legged strides diagonally towards the area left of Sana's person. One the second step his left leg push the packed dirt away from him as his body rose into the air. The only sound to indicate his plan was what Sana might here over the screaming and hollering crowd, as his right foot slammed into the fence, repelling it as his body twisted in the air, 180 degrees so that he would be facing her after kicking off of the cage. Coming from between her left side and her back, He came through the air in an arcing patch of gravity, his right hand cocked and firing off an intense haymaker. He was wide open if this attack failed, because he was airborne. And his opponent was a kicker. But would she be able to react with her head all fuzzy. She was getting tired and obviously hurting. Did she have what it took to push past it all and finish this damn thing? Would she give up? Or like a stubborn mule, would she take a terrible beat down.

Elesana whirled around as Bishop went past her and she heard the distinctive sound of a disturbed chain link fence under the cheering of the crowd. Her head was still a bit fuzzy, but her head was in the fight. She saw his fist out for a haymaker and she flashed back to the last time to fought him. She wasn't taking another one of those. She sidestepped and ducked her head a little, getting the hell out of the way and moving to her left and to the outside of the punch.

Sana looked at Bishop as he was about to have his feet on the ground again. He was open, and she could see it. Attacking from the side didn't give her as many options as she would want but she had something come to mind quickly. She moved her left foot a little closer to her right, then shifted her weight to her left leg as her right foot lashed out in a side kick to his lower ribs. She would be putting as much force into the kick as she could to drive her heel and the side of her foot into the same hanging ribs she had punched a minute ago. As she kicked, she gave a loud kiai. She didn't walk into this cage for a beat down. It was a friendly spar, but he certainly wasn't going easy on her so she was giving this her all.

He missed. Good. It meant she was still determined, still driven to defeat him. Though this was a turning point of the match. Once he landed and missed, he didn't continue to straight out persuit her, though he wouldn't give her room to breath either. His right was still in the lead from his last attack as he advanced forward, trying to keep with her for the most part. As soon as she made the formation require to set a proper sidekick, he saw what was coming before it did. This brought a sudden and sadistic smile to his face. even more intimidating with his narrowed gaze. His left shoulder rolled as he dipped the left side of his body down scooping in an odd upper cut manner as he would latch his arm onto her leg, lifting it up as his body rose back to normal level. Keeping his right side in the lead, his right arm prepared to defend him from her left, which was his only real threat in this position.

With no hesitation his right leg lifted from the ground, and swiftly moved his right foot to stomp kick the side/back of Sana's knee. This would hurt more than what the damage was to it, but more importantly, it would remove that leg from under her, making the limb give out so that her entire body would fall. He viciously wrenched up on it, threatening to dislocate the limb at the knee as opposed to breaking it. Either way, she was going to tap out and lose, or she would have her left leg dislocated, and still lose whether she gave in or not. He pleaded with her as he applied the right pressure in the right places.

"Give up!"

H
e didn't ask, he demanded.

Elesana did not like that smirk, but she couldn't take the kick back now.
She spat out a curse when Bishop grabbed her leg. Goddamn the fuzziness in her head, she should've seen that as a possibility! She aimed a right handed punch for his jaw, more out of desre to get free than actually thinking it would be effective. It wasn't, considering the block he put up. She gave a small cry as he took her other leg out and her left elbow and shoulder hit the packed dirt of the pit. She thrashed once or twice until he yanked her leg up. She bit back her cry of pain, clenching her jaw tightly as Bishop made the threat of dislocation very clear. It was even the same leg he had taken out at Hell's Stride, though that injury was fully healed now.

Between that and his demand for her to give up, she was reminded vividly of the last and only other time he had told her that. She had spat in his face and refused twice, and two haymakers later, she woke up in the med ward with a worried Xavier attending to her. She hesitated now, narrowed green eyes glaring up at him through the pain of her leg. She needed that leg. She couldn't deal with a dislocated leg with the tournament coming up.

She wanted so bad to just spit a [******** you" at him, but she had to weigh this. Some part of her was screaming at her to keep going, to keep fighting, to not give up. Maybe she could kick him with her left leg. Maybe she could get out of this.

But the more sensible part of her knew that she was in no position to take more risks. If she even showed signs of kicking, he could dislocate that leg. Her jaw set and her lips pressed into a thin line, she kept looking up at him. Then she used her left hand to lightly slap the ground twice. She wouldn't say 'yes' to giving up. She wouldn't speak it out loud. But she tapped out nonetheless.

As soon as she tapped out he dropped her leg. Pacing around a little he offered his right hand to her. His face still carried the hunger for more violence, more bloodshed. Though he was calming down slowly but surely. His smile now wasn't of his own arrogance. No, he was proud that he had gotten his point of how the cage works across, as well as tested her improved mettle. And most of all, he made sure she wasn't like him, dumb enough to not know when to give up.

"Smart girl. A few more fights in the pit an' you could be somethin' else."

H
e mused. As the crowd cheering widely with screams, shouts, and whistles, Bishop would help Elesana up. Just after he would grab her right fist and pull it up into the air. He was paying her some respect. A few different decisions and this could have easily been her match. After a moment Bishop would exit the cage and before even going to his belongings to gather them, he went straight up to Cici and pulled her close to him. Some bruising around the ribs, but other than that he was fine. With no words initially, he would embrace both Cici and the moment, kissing her in his moment of glee...Oh if only he knew how short that moment would be.

Elesana gave a small gasp as her leg fell to the floor. The pain was dissipating like a bad cramp that didn't want to leave. She laid on the ground while Bishop paced, taking deep breaths and trying not to feel so...annoyed. She had made the right decision in giving up, but she was reviewing all of her decisions in the fight. Where had she gone wrong? She sat up and rubbed the side of her head gingerly. It still throbbed a little, especially under her touch. It would be fine after a bit though, she was sure.

She took the offered hand and got to her feet, muttering something about "I'll show you something else". As Bishop raised her hand in the air, she gave a wry smile. It was nice, but she had still lost. That loss was hanging on her shoulders like a weight and probably would stay there until she had come to terms with her own choices. She followed Bishop out of the cage, walking with a very slight limp in her right leg. It really did feel like a stubborn cramp. She sat down next to their things for a moment and rubbed her leg, massaging some of the pain away. After about a minute, she pulled her hoodie back on. She stood up and looked around...

And saw Bishop kissing some blonde girl. Elesana's eyebrows twitched together as a slight confusion set into her gaze and the set of her mouth. She vaguely remembered seeing this girl upstairs. Was she his girlfriend or...? She blinked and shook her head a little. If he had gotten himself a girlfriend, good for him. It wasn't really any of her business. She checked her phone for messages before moving it to her back pocket and then started walking towards Bishop and the blonde. It wasn't like she knew anyone else here after all. She gave a smile and nod to those people from the crowd that spoke to her or gave her a pat on the back. Then, purposely checking her phone for email, she stood a couple feet from the couple and waited.

Cicily watched the fight below. The girl knew how to move, but she knew that Bishop was going easy on her. She leaned forward, sipping her water and watched as the fight started and soon was over. She raised an eyebrow, surprised at how the girl was able to keep up still though. She cleared her throat, sipping the water, and looked up to see them coming from the basement. She was about to tell the girl she was doing a good job, when Bishop came up to her and kissed her. Smiling, she didn’t care anymore, and she wrapped her arms around his neck. Linking her arms around his neck, she kissed him back. Smiling, she drew back from the kiss and was glad that Bishop was the one to kiss her first. Not wanting to see rude, she squeezed his hand, and turned to the girl and looked her up and down. “Feel free to help yourself to some food, or cook is amazing, and the next two rounds are on me.” She said as she looked at her with a bright smile. “You are an amazing fighter! I am definitely impressed.” She looked up at Bishop, and then back at the girl. “So you two seem to know each other. How do you guys know each other? Did you guys used to fight together?” she asked as she wrapped her arm around Bishop’s waist, smiling up at him. She was so proud of what a great fighter her was, and how compassionate he was to others. She was so lucky to have a guy like him in her life. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, as she waited for the two to speak up.

Elesana slipped her phone in her back pocket as the blonde spoke to her, looking up at her with a polite smile. At the mention of food, she gave a grateful grin. She knew she was going to be hungry soon after this. She hadn't eaten after training, so she had burned enough calories to earn a decent meal. When the girl complimented her, Sana gave a pleased smirk, pride flaring up in her though it soon faded into a dull feeling. It reminded Sana that she still had to talk to Garen about that. She knew something was wrong there, but she had no idea what.

She couldn't help the laugh that bubbled up when the blonde asked how she knew Bishop and if they fought together. "You could say that," she told her. "He shattered my knee in a tournament. Naturally, we become some sort of friends," she said with an amused tone, glancing towards Bishop. It wasn't the whole story, she supposed, but it was definitely a highlight from their last fight.

She brushed her fingers through her bangs, idly fixing them so they swept to the side. It was almost amusing noting the differences between herself and the blonde. Her black skinnies were dusted with dirt from the pit, her hair was in a messy ponytail, her eyeliner was smudgy now, and if not for the hoodie covering her shirt, she was sure she would be showing a swatch of dirt across her back from hitting the ground. The blonde, however, was undeniably pretty and well put together. Sana almost felt like a tomboy next to her. It didn't really bother her or anything, it was just interesting.

She realized she hadn't actually been introduced to her. "I'm Elesana, by the way," she told the blonde.

Makar entered the place once more clad in the same attire as last time. His eyes stared about as he walked through the crowd and made his way to the bar. This was a man that people allowed to pass unmolested. His colors alone were enough that people wouldn't mess with him. They may not always rolled deep, but The Front of Armament always backed those who were ambushed and revenge would be taken in spades. A small smirk formed across his lips as he saw Bishop and some women. His head shook as he held up a finger. A drink would shortly be coming his way.

A portly gentleman enters the establishment and wades through the crowd intent on reaching the bar. His watery eyes survey the surroundings as he murmers pardon me and excuse me to whoever he brushes aside, his light english accent drowning in the noise of the place. Finally reaching the bar, he pulls a stool a good distance away in order to accommodate his large gut.

Raising his left hand, he tries to flag the barkeep with pudgy fingers. This man wanted a drink.
James Howlett, a dark-haired gentleman in a grey punk rock tee, ripped denim jeans and sneakers, sat at the bar, sipping on a beer.

Bishop allowed Elesana to explain their meeting. She did quite fine doing so. As she introduced herself he felt a bit rude for not doing that. It had slipped his mind so to speak. Though he would chime in and apologize for that.

"Oh, right. Elesana, this is my e'rythang, Cici. Cici, this is Elesana, hopefully a sign on fighter for the club after this tournament."

H
e mused with some seriousness, though ultimately he wanted her to be the next soldier in TRS. It would be hard to do, but she would come around eventually. Releasing any grasp on Cici he had, he floated down a bit behind the bar to get a fresh beer. His s**t was still down somewhere, but he was fine without it for now. Returning to the girls, he would be sipping his beer before chiming in again.

"Either of ya' wan'a drink?"

As he pushed the door open, the Cleric first opinion of the place was that he'd come to the wrong place with his crew.... this looked like your normal dive bar and not a place supposedly filled with fighters and warriors.

But that was quickly dismissed by his second opinion as he heard the sound of fist hitting flesh coming from the pit that was in the center of the room. Well that was nice.... at least he didn't get lost.

Straightening the shotgun that was over his right shoulder as he stepped within the darkened walls, Zantara muttered.

"Alright.... seems to be the right spot. And it seems that the pit just might be opening up if you two want to go play."

He said to the men who were coming in behind him.

As he straightened his black and white leather vestments, the pouches and handaxes bouncing from their attachments on his belt. As his long white hair billowed out from under the black and silver leather cowboy hat, the old Cleric took in the foodspread over by the pit which might interest him later.

But what was more important was finding a barkeep.

He needed that drink if he was going to have to deal with any more of these crazy s**t happening outside.
