"And as the Ascended One danced into Heaven, the Revenant Guardian returned..."

Raven pressed the palm of her left hand, fingers dipped and curled to push the door open. The Neohuman wore a scowl, her jaw set as if her lips were ready to curl into a snarl. Brows furrowed together, she looked remarkably pissed off. The night had been a vague, colorful blur and before too long, she had woken up outside, slumped against a wall not far from her bike. It wasn't this that upset her so, as she was far too used to sleeping outside in worse conditions. It was the upstart who was marveling over her street bike that spiked her temper so easily. Whether he was attempting to hijack or not, Raven had been on him so quickly he didn't have time to scream. A sickening crunch had been heard as Raven jumped to her feet, vaulted over the seat with an ascending kick and taken the toe of her boot to the man's temple, slamming him into the colorful wall of graffiti, effectively killing him.

Clearly she was not a morning person.

Now with metal case in tow, Raven made her way to the bar, easing into the seat. Setting the case on the table, she unlatched both locks and carefully opened the lid. Syringes and serum neatly lined the inner foam casing. A sterile injection gun found its way into her hand, and Raven tactfully inserted a vial of serum. Screwing a syringe in place, she gently tapped the vial, bursting pockets of air bubbles that would be far more detrimental to her bloodstream. Gently setting the vial down, Raven took a small bottle of alcohol out. Reaching over the bar, she took a small square napkin, and uncapping the alcohol, pressed the napkin to the top and tipped the alcohol, a small dark spot forming. She rubbed a spot along the left side of her neck. Taking up the gun, a careful position of the needle and gentle jabbing with a squeeze of the trigger injected the serum directly in. Swabbing the gun, and collecting the empty vial and the used syringe, Raven wrapped both in the napkin. A bottle of pills remained in the corner, and after a pause Raven decided it was best to take one. Uncapping, a small blue pill fell into the palm of her glove. She cocked her head back and tossed it in, swallowing it dry. The Fallen Engineer had warned her of seizures, but the pill would help reduce the electrical activity as the serum worked to contain the XOK Cells that made her a Neohuman.

"This had better work or I will have that Engineer by his ******** nuts..." Muttering dark and sinister things, Raven stared at the boot that had killed the man. The worst part was her lack of remorse. Her gaze narrowed, the pupils thin, feline slits. That was the part of her she feared the most, the part that did not care. That had been her life. No family, no friends, no allies, very little emotion, and love of all form forbidden. OXY had trained her that such things were hesitations, and hesitation was death. Raven had not stopped to think about that man, his life, his family, his friends, his allies, or if he had anyone he loved. He was involved with something she was charged to look after, and she was trained to kill anything that got in her way. The thin rim of gold around her irises seemed to expand and grow, and Raven felt the combat of emotions. It suddenly occurred to her that Corvus was the part of Raven most effected by the XOK cells. If this serum was there to mute it, Corvus would rebel fiercely, perhaps violently so. That at least explained why she felt murderous at the moment. She really didn't like it when people touched her coveted things.

Murderous intent. It was the same feeling she felt when Corvus was so dead set on killing Bishop. A very wild, fierce sensation that burned and ached and struggled. Bubbling and welling up, a guttural growl passed through gritted teeth. Something so small and trivial as touching her street bike now seemed like a very absurd, ludicrous action. How dare they? Had she not promised Bishop she'd smear them along the wall if anyone tried it? Now the burning desire to pick a fight was threatening to surface, the slender digits coiling up as the serum worked its way through her. Her heart rate was alarmingly fast, and she knew it was all because of Corvus making one last stand, fighting to break the seal, fighting to tear someone to pieces.

The door gave way once more as possibly the smallest man entered. Standing at 5'6", he couldn't weigh much more than a buck 70. If it hadn't been weeks, he may have noticed James at the bar with some red head bar tender, though the watered down James wasn't recognizable with the metal arm and all. Besides, Jinsoku was just getting back on the scene, crispy and clean. Though he had help speeding up the process, it took some time for his chest to heal up from his loss in the first round of GTB. That slipper little Djinn caved his chest in something awful, almost killed him. Since then he had been hitting the gym to get back up to speed physically. Sporting his usual Adidas track suit, his hands adorned in fresh boxer's tape. A pair of black and white high top Chuck's hugging his feet.

Though it wasn't his usual style, Jinsoku was here to pick a fight. Prior to GTB, James knocked the s**t out of him. And the two losses were weighing down on him like none other. Jinsoku had been on a few winning streaks, but this was his first official losing streak. And he was itching to end it. Despite not usually praying on girls, he managed to see the woman at the bar, talking s**t to herself. The vibe radiating from her was an intense anger. One he couldn't phathom but had probably experienced even in his last fight. Taking her muttering as an opportunity, he wouldn't hesitate to let his right hand shove her shoulder, expressing himself as if he was angry...As if she had insulted him.

"You got a problem b***h!?"

H
is narrowed charcoal eyes watched intently for any reaction. The mean mug on his face showing his lack of fear or regret from his action. Though he was well prepared to take an a** beating. At least the woman rivaled him in size. It would be an even match. Or so he thought. Little did he know who or what she was, or how dangerous she was. Regardless, the half Japanese half Caucasian man stood ready. This was Babyface as he was called in the underground fighting circuits. Named for his small size and lack of ability to grow facial hair even though he had achieved the age of twenty.

User ImageUshiko stayed behind at the club that night. It wasn't that hard for her to find a place to sleep.

She...

Slept standing up.

...

What? It's a cow thing.

Ugh. That fight last night was a disaster. She didn't even know who won. Just part-way through her fight with Bishop, she vomited her half-digested veggie burger up again as cudd. She attempted to chew it up fast and swallow it, but then her new boss made the mistake of punching her in the gut when she was busy chewing...

And she promptly spewed the cudd all over him.

She felt so bad about it... The fight was stopped then and there, and Ushiko still wasn't sure if Mr. Bishop thought she had what it took for the Beatdown.

Her dreams that night were a bit restless as a reslt, but she was ultimately awoken by the the sounds of movement. She opened her eyes to find...

The entire bar was hopping with the beginning of a new day. Whoops! She had falling asleep standing right in the middle of the bar area.

Right. She had to get a few things ready before customers arrived. Seemed like it was only Jay, Mr. Bishop, and Cici here so far. So, the minotaur ran to the kitchen and made a big pot of her special black coffee, even setting out a pitcher of milk for it. Just... don't ask where the milk came from. The less people knew about her... problem... the better.

She hurriedly wrote up a list of their breakfast specials and set it propped up on the bar counter. She could cook almost anything, but her chef's muse meant these were the things she was eager or inspired to make today.

Raven slowly, slowly craned her neck, her head swiveling to leer at the upstart that pushed at her shoulder. The anger that roiled had reached its zenith, and now threatened to explode. Raven fell back into that stoic, laconic demeanor that made her so dangerous. Any time she fell into a one on one means of combat, the Pentalaws of Guardianship swam around in the back of her mind, reminding her of no room for error, no room for mistakes. But they were gone now. In fact, she did not have to keep a mental barrier, the white noise of everyone's thoughts that often drowned out her ability to think was deadly silent. By now, Raven was too far gone. Too deep in the side effects of the serum to retain a notion of caution against who this man was, and what he was capable of.

All at once, the steel case she grip was swept from the bar, launched and hurled at the young-looking man's face, and Raven threw herself back from the bar and off the chair, backpedaling to place three feet between herself and the brawler. The slender digits of her petite hands curled, the knuckles and digits popping under the pressure. Raven noted the manner of which his hands were bound. He preferred his fists, and perhaps his upper body versus his feet. The material of his track suit hid most of his body, yet his size gave her a small indication of what he was capable of. If he were anything like her, the appearance would be deceiving. Raven's gaze was critical, the leer taking in the entirety of his features. He was of Asian descent, and more than likely had some training for the sake of culture, or perhaps love of fighting. She listened to the way he spoke, the strain of vocal cues, how he paused, breathed. Something was amiss, there, yet Raven hadn't a clue. His stance was different, perhaps because of his footwear; either traction would prove useful or hindering to her.

"Don't waste your breath. I can either reintroduce you to the pain you felt when you were last injured, or I can ******** you up far worse."

Raven was known as the Demon's Eye for her remarkable ability to study her opponents. Though it began with the use of the abilities as an Empath, as former spy master, she was trained not to overlook the small minute details. Often times she took a wild guess, smoothly bluffed her way through, and got her answer. She had no idea who this man was, save that he was a fighter she had never seen before, and had no idea what he had gone through or what he was capable of. It was logical all fighters suffered a defeat. Raven would eventually get her answer, but fighting was a game of chess, and she had to stay ahead of the game.

Cicily smiled as she wrapped her arms around Bishop, her hands caressing his back. She nodded as she shrugged playfully, her heels made her about even with his height. “I guess you can tell me more every now and then.” She giggled as she snuggled up against him. She turned when she heard someone enter the door. She raised an eyebrow at his appearance, and she knew that this was going to be interesting. She stepped back from Bishop, and slid from his embrace with ease. She figured that he could take care of this, but for now, she heard movement in the kitchen. Ushiko was probably awake. She smiled as she reached into her pocket, and dialed a number. She spoke briefly, with a few adjustments, she told she wanted an outfit at the club in no less than an hour. She smiled as she hung up, and made her way to the back of the club to the kitchen. She smiled at Ushiko and nodded, “Good morning Ushiko. Heard about that fight last night. I found it rather amusing.” She giggled as she smiled warmly at the young Minotaur.

Cicily heard a rap at the back delivery door, and she knew that it was the call. She always knew that her clothing person would never fail her. She knew that the man had everything on hand. She ducked back into the alley, and soon returned with a huge bag of stuff. She cleared off a space on one of the prep tables. “My designer has a strange amount of clothes for magical beings. He just so happened to have a stock of minotaur women clothing.” She said as she motioned to the two large bags. “Help yourself to whatever, I hope they fit. I estimated on your measurements, but I am sure they will fit you splendidly.” She said as she smiled at the woman. She stepped away from the clothes, and checked out the menu for the breakfast time. She nodded in approval, as she stepped back, brushing her hair from her shoulder. “This menu looks great.” She called out over to the woman. She sighed in content, things were going so well. She stretched a little, and then she heard the bang below, and she knew that Jay and Hideo were fighting. Did those two ever quit? She laughed to herself, as she looked out through the doors to see if she could read what the two men were saying at the bar.

She looked over at Ushiko. "There should be all sorts of clothing in there for any occasion." she said softly as she smiled at her. She folded her arms over her chest as she looked about. She was glad that she wore the outfit she wore today. Of course she would have her change of clothes in the back office, but she always liked to dress up though. She tucked some of the loose hairs from her face behind her ear. The earrings she wore danced and sparkled in the light. She looked at Ushiko and then spoke up, "Oh and when you are done. I wouldn't mind some of the Belgian Waffles, Bacon, Sausage, Hash browns, oh and some eggs." she giggled as she smiled up at the woman. She had a great appetite. She reached over to the sink and soon had a water bottle, and a glass of water on her. She set the water bottle aside, and started to drink the from glass. She had not taken enough water last night, and was feeling a bit weak.

As the metal casing was thrwon at Jinsoku, he simply moved out of the way as his right arm dedicated to Mister Miyagi's wax off maneuver. A light pang echoing as he knocked it away from himself. He allowed the broad to space herself and assume her stance as she began to talk s**t for real. Well, he arrogance was more insulting than anything really, but he would surely teach her a lesson. He would be sure to take in everything, about her, and around her. Including to her back and left, just passed the bar, there was a pool table. Directly behind her, a Jukebox. To her left, the bar and stools, and to her right, windows. At her last remark he would refrain from slashing a smirk, displaying his competitive personality. He had to remain focused.

"Bring it!"

H
e exclaimed. As he barked his word his fist came up into a basic guard, leading naturally with his right. ******** south paw, for real. His feet would maintain a distance of about shoulder width apart as he moved forward into tow swift steps. If she made any indication to attack first, before he was able to, he would react accordingly. But if she just let him get into striking range he would break the ice with a feint right jab. Following it up with the real threat, his body torqued right on it's center of gravity as his legs propelled him forth, his shoulder's twisting as he delivered a fierce left overhead punch. He didn't expect to hit anything with this punch, though he had to get things going. Hopefully she didn't use her legs too much, and if she did, hopefully she made a mistake. Otherwise he would eating s**t real soon.

User Image He looked up as Raven pointed about her home."Ahh so your not of this plain either ey? My home is or was the Jade Palace". He told, he wasn't sure if she would recgonized the term but he didn't care. There was no point in thinking about home right now as it was far out of his grasp, he was strained in a city he did not know and in a place with people he did not know...but he sure was going to get to know them espically this Raven girl. It had been awhile scene anyone outside his home had given the proper name for his spear which meant this girl had experience with fighters like him.

He reached for his shot glass of Whisky as well. It wasn't rice wine like he was use to back home but it would have to do.He smiled at her as she proposed a toast."I can drink to that" He said as he clasped his glass to hers and chug down the the whisky. It hit him like a tone of bricks. The whisky burned his throat slightly as it went down, indeed stronger then rice wine but he liked it all the same. The night became a blur as he drunk as much as he could with Raven paying for it,after that he briefly remember going over to the sign of she and slopply writing his name for The BeatDown.

After that He passed out thankful for the numbess to his aching bones. Quan woke up to be staring at the sky and quickly closed his eyes as the sun stung them."ohhh my head". He groaned loudly as he rolled over on a hard and gravely surface. It took him a minute to right himself as he sat up and looked around. He had somehow got himself on the roof the bar! "What in the nine hells happen last night!?". He said to himself as one hand was planted on the side of his head in a mock attempt to steady his vision and sooth the pain of his hangover. He carefully got to his feet and began to walk unsteadily to what he thought was the later to get down but just over the edge that lead to the front of the bar.He soon felt his foot touch air as the who world shifted when he went over the edge.

His eyes saw the straight away path suddenly turn as he saw the ground coming to meet him. Well he wasn't going to let it happen again, As he fell over he quickly twisted his body in mid air, his torso going one way and by physic which he was bound now so did his waist until he turned in a full halftwisted to land on his feet facing the bar. Or halfway on his feet as he landed but couldn't keep hos footing and fell over on his side. His legs spraying in the air to the right of him.He groaned again and got back up and enter the bar. He was meet with the fact that another person about Raven's height was in her face and he didn't look like he was a friend."Morning Raven....you got anything for a hangover?". He asked in a scatterbrain way of not reading the mood in the place as a fight basically was about to break out juding from the postion the young man took with his fist.

So that was the game...

Raven had to test him, as much as he had to test her. At this, she did the crazy thing--she went straight at him head on. He was a close-combat fighter--she knew that much right away. Fair game--she'd get very close. He led with his right, an indication it would move to strike first, but if he wanted to catch her off, that wouldn't be the case; deception was the key. Raven saw this first hand at the feint right jab. Unfortunately for this punk, Raven was trained for ambidexterity; the open thumb and index finger of her left were open, fingers around the left wrist of the power-housing punch. Raven could feel the momentum, and was almost too close for crashing. Gyrating to her right, she took his hand and arm with her to his left until she was next to him, facing the same direction. She rotated her arm, the fingers sliding around the wrist to keep his fist pointed down. He would meet resistance if he tried to pull up, he would wrench free, or at best aim to elbow her, but the counter didn't end there.

With his fist pointed down, Raven slipped her right foot behind his left. Now the right of her was marginally open for attack as she risked thrusting her arm against his throat in a clothes line, intent to use his staggering momentum against him to trip him up. She followed through with his body to a degree before releasing the uncommitted grip to his wrist, a slight bend to her knees as she leaned back, thrust into the right arm for his throat. He could recover if he knew what he was doing--and Raven had a feeling he did--or he could find himself on his back with a harsh thunk. Raven needed him to hit her, because she needed something to set her off and facilitate a more vicious fight than this guy knew he was in for. She left herself so far open it was almost an invitation, complete with a red carpet and escort.

Shit was going to heat up really fast. And though he had been out of the game for nearly a month, Jinsoku felt renewed at best. The feint wasn't good enough bait, even if it was a perfect feint. With his left wrist now held captive from the real threat he posed, Raven moved to his left, facing the same way as him, propping her right leg behind his left one. Though as she went for the close line she made one major mistake, she let go of that wrist, the one he didn't focus on freeing until it mattered. His right fist opened into a palm, at which point it struck up to stop her as he tucked his chin, his free left hand reaching to grasp her pants at the belt line with an extreme grip. With his left hand secured on his clothing, and his right hand grasping her forearm just past the wrist, his legs remained locked with one of her behind his left one.

With a strong pull to yank her forward and to his right, he would lean just enough to use his hip to stop her right leg from being her saving grace as he reversed her trip maneuver. As soon as her leg was no longer behind his, he would torque his lower body to the left, his right leg raising up and swiftly flying up as it bent at the knee, aiming to plant his knee firmly into her gut as his left hand let go of her garments, only to snake around and aim to snatch up the beltline again at the back of her pants. If he was allowed to go unchecked up to this point, and his knee was a smashing success, his right leg would return to the ground and he turned sharply to his right. His aim now was to use her arm that would no doubt resist and her pants in her hunched over state to try and ram her head first into the bar. If this move work, after she impacted the bar, he would release her and take three steps back resuming his stance.

Large firm fingers gripped the door as he entered, shoving aside the wooden blockade as if it was nothing as he lumbered into the club. This was his second time appearing here and the first had been to scope the place out, now he was here for fun. His body was adorned in black sneakers, a pair of baggy sweat pants of the same color, a a tight fitting under armor shirt that hugged his mountain of a frame.

The nick name had recently developed for him after he had re-opened his school. Many of the new young students had come to call him that due to his history of training in the mountains, and his love for all things northern and tribal. Thus the name stuck but the 6'6" Devil had a modest body build. he was not built like a body builder but his firm and toned form bulged with muscle in the appropriate places to create an athletic killing machine.

Each step however did confirm the nick name well for his large frame trembled the ground he walked upon with heavy thuds, his tree trunk legs marching him directly to the bar. He placed in an open challenge there that would know doubt get some attention and then sat, letting his gym bag fall to the floor as he stretched his neck from side to side. Many knew him, he had big muscles, black skin, but today he did not fashion the horns and Devil tail many had come to associate him with. For some reason the outstanding traits of his heritage were not apparent in his appearance today. But regardless of all this the most striking feature was the solid black eyes that shined like two tiny dead suns. They radiated power and his body pulsated with an ancient strength that easily pre-dated most alive today.

He looked up above the bar and saw the screen flash to life with the open challenges and current fights. Once his name hit the board heads began to turn and murmurs whispered. He had not fought in a competitive nature in public in over a decade on Gaia, and now this out of the blue? It would be interesting to see who accepted.

Lowering her eyelids Jay inhaled deeply, enjoying the feel of Hideo pressing up against her after having forced her against the fence, his arm between her breasts..His hand around her throat...Even the leg pressing against the inside of her own...It was all too much for the poor brawler, she loved being dominated, he had intentionally or unintentionally just turned her on..which might possibly be more dangerous than fighting her outright.

A throaty growl escaped slightly parted lips as he spoke, taunting her, tempting her, even as he let go and stepped back she could still feel the warmth of his body on her exposed flesh.

"Oh you are something else..."

She would murmur before turning around to face him, letting her back rest against the chainlink for a moment as her eyes practically devoured him. The look she held was one of desire, lust, hunger...She needed to push him further, to break him, since he saw fit to toy with her like a cat with a mouse.
With that in mind Jay would lift her right leg, bending it at the knee so her boot pressed firmly into the fence at her back, the dress rolling up ever so slightly before Jay so kindly stopped...Her eyes never leaving the red eyed man, even as she suddenly pushed off, launching herself forward to close the all too small gap between them. Arms extending so her hands could find purchase on his shoulders as her legs were brought up, knees pressing to his chest...Her entire body weight thrown against his torso, her intention was to topple him, lay him out. If successful Jay would let either leg slide down and press her knees into the sides of his ribcage.

"Your turn..."

Leaning forward to whisper in his ear, hoping the taunt in return would work in her favor.

"M-morning X-xiao-Quan--drink lots of water!"

Through gritted teeth, Raven grinned wickedly at the young man's return to find her in such a drastic situation; it looked as if that test worked better than even Raven had anticipated! Now she had a better understanding of how Jinsoku's problem solving worked, and that would make the fight all that much more brutal and exciting. Now she was the one that was trapped, but he had also made the mistake to let her left hand go unchecked. She did not want to resist with the right just yet. Instead, Raven did something unconventional: she kicked back hard with the left heel against the ankle that trapped her right leg. It cost her a severe blow to the gut that had her gasping for air and in a world of pain that Raven relished more than anything. It meant above all, the serum was working.

Now Raven thrust the left arm back and up with a curled fist, the shoulder twisting uncomfortably as she made to upper cut just under his chin with the bottom of her fist. Her angling was off, and the direct hit would be less painful if it even struck him at all. Action caused reaction, and Raven had to invoke a reaction to test him yet again. What would he do this time? If she didn't find out soon she'd become a personal punching bag, and that was out of the question.

"UGH!" he uttered in surprise as stumbled over the tree."Why is a tree in the middle of the b...oh". He started saying but ended with a slight awed gap at the tree which was a leg and what the leg was connected to. A man of massive height and width judging from the bulging muscles, Quan could feel a power from him that can from something more ancient them himself and even the Emperor. Quan looked at the mans horn producing from his head and his eyes widen.

Suddenly quick with motion Quan dropped to the flats of his knees along with his hands face down on the floor and palms open. He lowered his head until it was touching the very floor."Zhǔ pángǔ!: He shouted out in Chinese as he dare not look up unless asked to. He couldn't believe that Pangu the creator of all was here, was this apart of his punishment? had he offend the Emperor and his father one to many times?

Samayou glanced down for a moment as something bumped into his extended leg, his black eyes staring down upon a small boy who quickly went into a royal bow. It was the same bow people performed in Oriental countries when approaching a Royal Member or anything of that sort. the customs varied from country and once the Chinese was spoken Samayou would turn his head. He rose to his full height and strong hands reached down, lifting the lad by the shoulders off his knees and forcing him to stand up right. "Dui bu Qi." His Chinese was very rusty but he was sure that was the term for, "my apologies." But then his voice fluxed into a stronger tone. "Da vuslglav burvon..." He let the silence sink in before letting the kid go and nodding, then he sat back down.

A few looked over and none really commented on his strange use of language. The last bit was rough to translate to English but the ancient Nordic language pretty much was a statement of his heritage, he was not Chinese and thus it could be assumed that such customs did not need to be taken with him. He glanced back at the boy for a moment and his forked tongue finally began to speak English.

"Um... Yeah... I'm s-sorry about that... Next time, I won't eat before a fight, ma'am." she explained, clasping her hands at her waist and staring at the ground, a sad look in her doe-like eyes.

A knock on the back door drew Ushiko's attention. Hm? Who could that be? She was about to walk over to answer it, but Cici went instead. She returned with a big box. The minotaur listened intently.

"R-Really? You... You got me some clothes? You... You didn't have to do that for me, ma'am... I already owe you so much..."

She was touched... Really. Cici didn't have to do that for her... This was already her favorite outfit, so she didn't mind wearing it again. But she could do with some clean clothes...

"Well... Th-Thank you, Cici, ma'am. I'll look through it, i-if you don't mind."

Well... The least she could do is cook Cici a nice breakfast. The minotaur girl nodded, taking the box to the pantry so she could change in private.

Ushiko was... a very private person. She was modest, too. But only in how protective she was of her body. She preferred to change in private, even if the only other people around were other girls.

Howver, she liked to dress stylishly, though femininely, and preferred white and black colors and skirts or dressed that showed a bit of skin. When she emerged, she was dressed in a white button blouse that was tied up at the bottom to show a bit of midriff, the top few buttons left unclasped to show her rather impressive cleavage. Her black pleated skirt only came down to about mid-thigh, while she was wearing black fingerless leather gloves on her hands. She had opted to not wear her cowbell or her bracers, but accented her long brown hair with a pretty pink bow.

Okay, now to get cooking. What did her boss order? Uh... Right. Waffles, bacon, sausage, hash browns, and eggs. It would take a while to make... Approximately three posts.

Dangerous Businessman

Raven Kanzaki

Her resistance with her legs kept her from being hoisted into the bar despite the knee to her gut, though he still had her in an awkward position, for when she bent over from the knee to the gut, he took advantage of his left hand still grasping the back of her bottoms at the center of the waistline. His right hand still grasping her own right arm just past the wrist. Her half a** upper cut execution would land a hit upon him, though other than splitting his lip, it did nothing for her. Pivoting right on his center of gravity as he merely shoved her forward, He aimed to simply place her in front of him as he would effectively drop down upon her. If he managed to get her down, he would waste no time to get to work dominating her. Should he succeed in the plan formulating in his mind, this fight would be over faster than she had anticipated, and with and opposite conclusion to her original hypothesis. One the way down he would bark an insult viciously at her.
