Description of the Lion's Den!

The Lion's Den is positioned much like a nightclub. To find the front entrance, one must descend a rather lengthy set of stairs. Down roughly a story. Then, you may enter.

Upon doing so, you are privy to the bar area. The entrance is at the right end of the bar. From the door, you see the bar length wise, on your left. On your right, is a series of rectangular tables that lay between pairs of booth seats. Five of these booths stand back to back down the length of the bar area. At the bar it's self, is a series of various beers, liquors, and other miscellaneous drinks.

Anyway, behind the bar is the kitchen. It's a small, yet functional placement. Only one person may man the kitchen at a time. That person is allowed a myriad of utensils that allow the creation of various MANRY dishes. Such as hamburgers, french fries, and the ever appropriate STEAK.

You proceed past the bar.

Eventually, you are stopped by a railing. Peering over it, you gaze down to the Pit. Ten feet down.

Turning to either side reveals a break in the railing before it meets the wall. The room has widened. When you move past that opening you realize that you are at the top of arena-style grandstands. These extend down about ten feet, before shearing off into a straight drop five feet in height, down into the pit. In the opposite direct a railing arises to prevent people from falling into the pit. The stands stretch all the way around the pit, save for before the railing that seperates this area from the bar.

The pit is very large. Forty, perhaps fifty feet length and depth wise. It is an octagonal shape. The floor is nothing but a flat, compacted dirt surface. The railing at the junction of the deck and the stands has been removed two staircases that allow entrance and exit to and from the Pit.

Rules and Regulations

OOC Rules

One | Do what I say.

Two | Don't hassle people.

Three | Literacy is mandatory.

Four | Differentiate your IC from your OOC.

Five | The opinions of one's character does not reflect that of his or her author.

Six | Any disputes regarding fights must be settled via private messages. Either between the two combatants, or with one of the pit referees.

Seven | Follow the ToS, the AMP, and your own common sense.

Eight | No image-laden, excessive, or rediculous post formats.

Nine | Although swearing is encouraged, excess vulgarity is forbidden.

Pit Regulations

One | Fights may be fought to KO, Give Up, Death, or any combination thereof.

Two | Fights may be fought between two contenders. No more than that. Moreover, there should never be more than three people in the ring at any one time.

Three | If you kill your opponent, it's up to you to clear his or her body from the ring.

Four | That's right, girls can fight, too.

Five | Fights begun outside the pit must finish within the pit.

Six | Both contenders must agree to do battle before a fight may take place. Attacking a person whom does not wish to fight or is incapable of doing so results in execution. However, pit referees withhold the right to override this mandate should they feel doing so is appropriate.

Seven | Magical abilities are to be kept to a local manifestation and in no form or fashion are allowed to damage the Lion's Den.

Eight | During a battle, contenders are to remain within the pit until the fight is over.

Nine. | If a contender is faced with an armed opponent when unarmed, said fighter may pledge to the spectators for a weapon.

Lionel stood behind the bar.

Waiting.

Interminably, it seems.

Lionel sighed.

Ghost town, ya'll.

The dark-haired lad wished for clients, fighters, or anything. Or anyone. Something. Sometime.

"C'moooon!"

Lionel poured himself a drink.

He drank. The glass tipped back and it's contents emptied.

Kumori walked into fight club her hand crossed behind her as she looked around at the new establishment and wondered where she got herself to now. Looking at the man with a drink she smiled and asked "slow opening night?"

A smile pulled at the lips of the curious young woman as she walked into The Lion's Den. "Hi there." She piped up after spotting the male. She took a moment to look around, smiling at the other woman before her eyes returned to the male. Slow. She thought to herself as she made her way over to the bar, hips swaying slightly with her steps.

Walking over to a table near the bar she sat down looking around. She nodded her head towards the other woman with a smile.
