Gil was tempted to grab a cup of tea herself, hoping it would calm her nerves.

Deciding against it, she stood a little bit away from Curtis, still wearing his coat and wringing her hands in front of her. His statement moved through her head and she could not stop the little shudder that skipped down her spinal chord. This meant those light eyes lingered on him, thinking of what his reaction would be to her true form. "Would it be too much for a glass of water?" She asked, Airi specifically. Ice water would be splendid right about now as her dry throat seemed to threaten to close.

Distinct Werewolf

"Oh, I completely forgot about the tea!" The tour had distracted him, so the tea was a pleasant surprise. The house may only have fruits and vegetables, that he could tell, but at least there was tea...
Out of the corner of his eye he noticed Gilrin's glances, but weren't sure what to make of them. Nervousness? The feeling that he was intimidating her once again crept into his consciousness. It wasn't a new concept, being feared, but he'd much rather diffuse those tensions before they grew. Especially if he was to be stuck in the same house with her for an extended amount of time. He wanted to make friends just as much as the next 'prisoner.' In response, he took a seat again at one of the round tables to give her a little more space. He even pulled out the chair beside him, as a subtle offer if she'd like a seat as well.
Curtis patiently awaited his glass of tea when it was finished.

Tipsy Mage

~~~~~~~Airi smiled at Gil and rummaged through a cupboard under the bar for a moment before emerging with a glass with ice in it, she poured water from a sink and offered the glass to her. "Of course, Do you not want the tea anymore?" She sounded slightly disappointed but she supposed that at least the others still seemed to want the tea, if nothing else Azazel would probably be happy enough to drink lots of it, she would be as well. She offered one of the glasses to Curtis, apparently not intending to carry it over to him. "Did you find rooms that you think you'll be comfortable in?" Airi asked more to be conversational then anything else. "Some of them are a bit gaudy but most of them are normal enough to be comfortable." Azazel took the glass Airi had offered for Curtis and carried it to the older man's table, rather then sit at the table he returned to the stool next to the bar and spun around in it for a moment.
The pale girl smiled back at Airi and umbled a quick 'thank you' before taking a few gulps of water.
"I just needed something cold first," she assured the other white haired female before taking both her water and tea to the table with the wolf. She sat, and set both beverages down before giving him an apologetic stare. "I'm sorry. You've been so nice. I guess I'm just not used to.. wolves." That was the best way her melodic voice could put it and she gave him a sheepish look before drinking the rest of her ice water.
Distinct Werewolf
"Oh, the rooms were lovely!" He laughed, cheerfully. "One very much like my own room! One can only hope the closet shares just as close of a resemblance as well." The wolf replied, equally as conversationally.
"Thank you, Az..Aza- child." He stumbled with the boy's name, though had no intention of being condescending. He had just never heard anything remotely like it before. He accepted his drink, with a polite nod.
"Tis no problem." He turned back towards Gilrin, relaxing a little more in his seat. "Everyone has a right to be a bit nervous, don't we?" Hardly turning his head, Curtis glimpsed at the two white-haired children. His suspicions did make sense to him. As ghastly as the two looked when they first met, the fangs he thought he saw, and other such oddities he had witnessed and heard- he wouldn't doubt they were something a bit more malevolent then they seem. Was there not reason to wonder where the other occupants were? Was he to believe they had all been lost in a room or managed to escape the house? He wasn't entirely comfortable with accepting their word in those cases. Not yet, anyways.
In fact, it was perfect that Gilrin was now right by his side. He couldn't have planned it better himself. Behind her back, he casually reached into his coat with the tips of his nails, looking for that cross. Curtis wouldn't try anything tonight, or even threaten them. And he never would, unless the situation arose. But he'd rather have that holy pendant around his own neck by the time he retires this evening, just to be completely safe. Better safe than void of blood.
There was no trace of these thoughts in his expression. Only a smile as he sipped his tea.
"Lovely! You did a fine job."
Tipsy Mage
~~~~~~"Of course." Airi responded with a small smile, Gil seemed rather understandably stressed by the situation, Airi was glad she could help even if it was in a small way. "If you need anything else feel free to ask." She was surprised however that Curtis seemed so upbeat about the whole situation? Was he putting on a brave front or genuinely not particularly bothered by this? "We are used to much more room then the rooms here have, I don't like it much." The room they had managed to secure for themselves was nicer then the normal ones but by no means as big as even their own rooms back home. Azazel of course agreed with her, he did not enjoy staying here by any means but having nicer rooms would at least make it more comfortable. Azazel did not much like being called a child, but he did realize that Curtis had simple messed his name up so he was only mildly bothered by it. "You're welcome." He paused for a moment and supposed he might as well repeat his name. "It is pronounced Aza-zel"He pronounced his own name more slowly then he had before in the hopes of making it easier for Curtis he even managed to do so without sounding annoyed or condescending, which in his own opinion was slightly impressive. He did not really think it particularly hard to remember or to pronounce so he found it odd to have to be doing this at all. Airi was quite happy at the compliment, she supposed it was a particularly simple drink to prepare, but since she had helped picked the plants used to prepare the drink she felt s bit of pride that someone else liked it. "I'm glad you are enjoying it, we picked the leaves ourselves while the others were still here."

"I suppose so," she said to Curtis, looking down int her tea.

Gilrin was quite sensitive to her own perimeters and watched as he pulled an object from his coat. She tilted her head just so, giving him a look that showed off her curiosity. She didn't ask though, sensing her had some motives behind it. She sipped her tea and turned back to the girl. Unlike the werewolf, she was not so good at keeping her fears at bay, or her thoughts to herself. "So, what exactly happened to the others?" Her voice was not accusatory and seemed quite neutral at the moment. She sipped the warm tea again and set it down, her fraying nerves temporarily mended.

Distinct Werewolf

"Azazel! Haha." The lycan mimicked, committing it to memory. "Such an odd name." He quickly pocked the found trinket. Curtis twitched, bothered by the fact his action was noticed, but grateful that it went unspoken. He considered that she have may have been thinking the same as him, if she knew what was in the pocket. He noted to ask her later.

"Much larger rooms? I thought the ones I saw were quite decent to say the least. You must have come from a wealthy family." He commented, hoping to gather more information about them and their past. Maybe even weasel out a family name surname. There were plenty of broods of vampires from the town he was from, and he knew their names all too well.

But this was asked a tad too soon. Gilrin's question seemed far more to the point, and seemed far too blunt for him to ask himself. It was better a less suspicious shape, and a softer voice asked it. Nonetheless, he eagerly awaited the answer.

~~~~~Both of their relatively bright moods dimmed when asked about the others, it was hardly a topic they enjoyed thinking about, let alone actually talking about. Azazel answered before Airi was able to but they had both been about to talk. "You saw the girl there, she had that knife in her head because she..." he paused as though trying to think of a good way to phrase it. "She did not want a vampire guest feeding on her so she tried stabbing him, he was not happy about that..he took the knife and..." He trailed off, rather clearly uncomfortable with going into detail. They had killed the vampire almost immediately after that, more by luck then anything else. "Before that there were many others we briefly met. Three actually just chose to be left behind on a world they had decided they rather liked. Once a group of six died while trying to force someone into the inn, they were of a terrible sort however and I hardly miss them." The group had been responsible for quite a few people being forced to come into the Inn, most of those they had brought had ended up dying rather quickly. "Several were lost in the tunnels under the building, at least I assume they were lost, I doubt there is an escape down there, many others were killed exploring the various dangerous rooms in here." He did not much like going into this much detail but he supposed if he did not he might not impress on them how dangerous some of the rooms were. "Usually it's when people start searching for clues in the dangerous rooms that they die. One of the rooms has treasure, quite alot of valuables, people often try getting them and they're killed by the corpses of all the other people who died there." The room in question was currently sealed off by iron bars on the door and a large amount of warnings not to try entering.
~~~~~Azazel and Airi were entirely unaware of Curtis's suspicions; had they been aware of them they would simply attempt to demonstrate that they was rather clearly not vampires. The possibility that mentioning vampires at all might make Curtis's suspicions worse would have crossed their minds had he voiced said concerns. Azazel would have gone on a bit more about the various fates of dead guests but he had been distracted by the comment on his name. "Well I happen to think my name is rather nice." He responded a little defensively, he rather liked his name and had not liked it being called odd. Airi quickly interrupted him before he could start an argument on the matter. "It's a perfectly normal name for our culture, people from different places have different naming conventions after all." She said as a way to calm her siblings rather silly little bit of annoyance. "Yes I suppose we would be considered wealthy by any standards. Our father and his family are owed loyalty by many of the local clans in our country." Airi had not yet figured out that Curtis had not yet realized that they were not even from the same world.

Gil appeared rather stoic as he spoke, sensing he was uncomfortable. She was much on the same level, her shoulders coming up slightly.

Her pale pink lips parted a little, breaking her statuesque face. "So most of them died," She said, trailing off just a bit. "Except you two.." That rift between them and her rising up in her mind again. Gil sipped her tea again, taking her eyes of the children for a moment. "This place really doesn't give you many choices does it? Just hunker down and see how long you last.." These walls were turning the girl into a gloomy creature.

The inevitable itch for freedom grew in her bones. Her unnatural eyes landed on the siblings again. "Is that your plan? Just survive here inevitably?" Gil had shifted the question now to their intentions, more so to Airi than the agitated Azazel.

Distinct Werewolf

"Oh yes...it is a nice name." His vague description of the fate of the woman with the knife through her head did not help matters much. And in truth, that was the only part of that conversation he heard. His thoughts were busy contemplating the current situation far too much to hear the rest. He was focusing on the detail that he failed to elaborate on. The "vampire guest" and his pause before uttering it was not assuring. Nor did he mention the fate of this guest. Leading him to believe that, for one; he expected to feed off the new house guests, and for two; he was possibly quite hostile when this was denied. It was definitely worrying. His claw caressed the cross in his pocket, nearly carving into the wood with the tip of his talon.

He snapped back into reality when Gilrin, again, voiced nearly the exact thing he wished to ask. But unlike his companion, he kept his gloom and suspicion hidden. "Quite the brave survivors, you two! Especially for ones so young!"

Tipsy Mage

~~~~~~Airi answered with a slight sigh. "Yes we survived, as you can see from our continued presence here." She did not like to think about the many people who had died, while very few had been friends most had at least been acquaintances. "We'll escape, we will even make it home we have no intention of dying here or living out our lives abandoned on some random unfamiliar world." Her voice had gotten a tone of grim determination that seemed almost out of place. "We've been through too much to die here." Azazel smiled slightly at his twin's answer to Gil, he couldn't have answered any better himself. He actually noticed that Curtis seemed distracted but he had been unable to place why he seemed as such.
~~~~~He still had no notion of the suspicions he had about himself and Airi. "Ah thank you." he suspected he had complimented his name merely to placate him but he figured that the older man had not meant any offense to start with, and he had been the one to overreact, after all, not Curtis. He wasn't sure how to react to the other compliment, it seemed a bit awkwardly said to him. "T-thank you again." Was all Azazel was able to manage in response, he did consider himself and Airi both to be rather brave but it was not the sort of thing he thought about much.

Her unassuming presence and harmless aura did her justice as they continued to open up.

She cocked her head at them, acting as if her pointed ear had mistaken their words. "How do you plan to escape?" she asked them, knitting her brows together in confusion. How could these two children escape when so many before them had failed? What were they holding back?

Gil figured now was a time as any to get down to business. It was gonna be the long haul and it's much better to know who your enemies are right off the bat. She would have to do the same sort of thing with Curtis later on, though with a softer hand. He was no child.

Distinct Werewolf

"The only two left, after so many survivors who had been here for years came and went. Such a feat!" He continued, not done with his prodding. He hardly caught his tone getting delicately louder until the end of the statement. While trapped in the moment, he was even moving to the edge of his seat, leaning in towards them while the accusations ran through his head. He took a moment to recover. It was a wonder how it wasn't about the house anymore, more about it's hosts.
"And you are right. Putting two young children- say, how old are you again? You might not even be kids, haha!" He realized he may have been too obvious with that one. He hoped his next question would help distract from it. "Yes, it is putting you two through too much. But you are survivors. I trust in you" He nodded quickly "You will find a way out. For all of us...even if it means bribing the house, right?"

Tipsy Mage

~~~~~Airi shrugged slightly, they had been doing their best to escape for quite some time, their plan was progressing more slowly then they would like but they were not about to give up. "As we said before, it's simply a matter of bringing in more then the inn considers you worth if we understand correctly." They had hoped to have been long since escaped by now. "The three are not the only ones to have been left behind either, sometimes people are just abandoned on other worlds, or can be bribed to be left behind at some random world, or just whatever one we happen to be at, at that moment. It's all very confusing but It seems to work."Azazel was still finding the praise from Curtis to be rather awkward. "It's not much of a accomplishment, people seem to escape fairly often, and we had lots of help from older people. If anything we've been here much longer then the average." He wondered why the man was suddenly being so strange, it was very different then his previous behavior, perhaps he had begun to realize the situation was rather grim. "We did not tell you how old we were, you never asked." He considered not answering for a moment but decided against it. "We are aged thirteen of our local solar rotations." He still found the term year to be too vague a term to use, at least phrasing it this way narrowed it down to a range that anyone would understand; at lest he thought as much. "We will certainly help you as best we can." That help would not include helping the newcomers at the expense of their own escape, both of them thought. They supposed it was a bit selfish to think so but they had been trapped here too long to stay purely altruistic.
