Airi shrugged slightly. "Where we are from probably means nothing to you, though I suppose It would be a bit rude to leave it at that. We grew up in a castle on our native world, we were rather privileged." She left it at that, apparently not very interested in sharing much more. "You're both rather good at picking the right sorts of questions to ask." Airi smiled slightly, it was good to have new people who seemed like they were likely to survive. Azazel continued where Airi stopped. "Like the doors, we learned it from previous inhabitants, it's difficult to do but it's the only way we know of to reliably end up where you want to go and not to get left behind on some random world." They did not have any desire to tell them everything yet, they were not holding back much, but until they trusted the new pair they would keep the rest to themselves. "There were eight other people living here when we arrived, and most of them had claimed to have been there for several years." Azazel answered Curtis's question, it was not the sort of information that sharing with others could be used against them so he was happy to share it.

Azazel squirmed a little, something both of them often did when they were uncomfortable, if they did not share what they knew and something happened to them then these two would be stranded. As much as he would like to keep such things to their advantage he could not really justify doing so to himself. He shoot Airi a questioning glance and she bit her lip then she too changed her mind. "It's a matter of how interesting the inn finds you if we understand it correctly." Azazel had started to explain, he paused for a moment as though considering how best to explain it. "If you bring enough things or people back that are particularly interesting it can be convinced to release you. You can sort of communicate it if you know how to use magic, it's confusing and hard to understand what it's trying to 'say' but we've tried it before." Journeying though the caves was required to do so, but he would wait to see if they even believed him before saying as much.

They were the key after all. Shepards to lost souls.

"How interesting we are?" Her slightly long face contorted at the idea. To lead people here to become trapped as well? The woman was not very fond of this place. As far as magic went, Gilrin was at a loss, and as she glanced up at the eager Curtis all was lost. Sighing she followed his lead, moving over slightly near him and looking back to Airi and Azazel. "Shall we take that tour?" she asked, hoping they could provide further information on the interior.

Distinct Werewolf

"Yes...let's take a tour, if we can?" He looked over his shoulder. Again, the conversation had stolen his interest. Not the talk of magics, no. He had no idea how to even contemplate that, or the brief mentions of other worlds. That was above his mental understanding as well. But this 'interesting' quote had caught his ear as well.

"All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players." The wolf quoted, in a sing-songy voice, aiming to continue the conversation while exploring. "But in this case, the stage is the house, yes? And you are saying we must...entertain it? Bring it things, worship it?" He skeptically eyed the brick walls, even reaching out to graze them with his claws while calling them bewitched in his mind.

"So how have you two been appeasing this charmed hunk of stone?"

Azazel nodded slightly. "Yes, that is the theory we tend to agree with anyway, it makes more sense to us then anything else." He took a look around the room and wondered for a moment if one of them should stay in case anyone new arrived. Airi nudged Azazel and motioned to where the door would sometimes be. "I'll stay, you can show them around." She was normally the more social one but dumping her friend's body down a cavern of fire had shut a bit of that out so she was rather glad to have an excuse to be alone. She looked around the room and then walked to her favorite couch, the one nearest to the fireplace and brushed off more dust. She would have to clean up a bit, she supposed it would not be too difficult to manage a small bit of magic to move the dust in the room around, maybe blow it all into the fireplace. She would wait until the others left, more out of a desire not to look silly if it failed then any discomfort in showing off that they could do magic. Azazel did not recognize the quote but he did find it amusing, not to mention rather fitting. "I've never really heard of people worshiping it before, maybe it's worth looking into." He supposed it was possible the thing was some sort of strange deity, or at least a being that considered it one. Then again that assumed it was even alive at all, and not some strange spirit or collection of spirits. In general he really had no idea what the Inn was. "Come upstairs then I'll show you around." He stepped over the pile of smashed furniture that had not been there when he had fallen 'asleep' and motioned for the others to do the same as he headed up the stairs. "It's been hard to do much since we don't want to bring people in, we have had to bring it objects. So far all we've managed to do is somehow get it to agree not to abandon us on separate worlds."

Her shadowy eyes lingered on the man as he spoke with eloquence. She too failed to get his reference, but enjoyed the moment of poetry.

Gilrin looked down at the demolished furniture before the stairs and back up at their tour guide, stepping over after a moments hesitation. It was a little discerning. "Objects?" her serene voice asked, interested in what one would have to bring to please a building. So this was going to be a symbiotic relationship if she wanted to leave, and end up anywhere near home. She sighed, looking at the walls in distaste.

Distinct Werewolf

"Oh, the inn likes shiny things, does it?~" He snickered. "It will be much easier to gratify this building than I thought."

Taking Azazel's lead, Curtis stepped over the smashed furniture.
Back in his world, his home was spotless. Very neat, decent building, he had all to himself. He groaned internally to think of what might become of it. All of the rats and beggars invading it once they realize he won't be returning home. Probably after the shady men he usually dealt with already tore through the book cases and safe looking for their money.
Needless to say...he would be more than happy to clean up that furniture later.

"Does this place have any windows, or rather, what do you see out of them?"

Tipsy Mage

~~~~~Azazel nodded slightly again. "Usually bits of technology or magic, but it much prefers interesting people, one man once told me he thinks it wants entertainment. Sometimes I think he might have been right." He led them up five flights of stairs until they reached the 'top' at least the top as far as normal space was concerned. There were technically two more floors above this but he would explain that after he helped them find rooms. "The nicest rooms are up on this floor, and this one only has one dangerous room to avoid, it's rather pleasant compared to the third floor for example, which tends to rearrange itself quite often."He opened a door to one of the rooms, then another slightly down the hall next to it. "Feel free to look around, they all are like small apartments up here but they're all furnished very differently from one another." He was standing in front of a room that was very brightly decorated in an assortment of bright loud colors with a hot tub right in the middle of the floor. It was tacky by the standards of almost anyone. "If you don't like any of these we can look for one on a lower floor." Even Azazel found this room distasteful and he tended to like things that stood out. "The view from the windows depend on alot of factors, often you can see one of the forests that are outside of the greenhouse, but you are just as often to see nothing, or one of the worlds the inn is connected to. I find most of the views a little bit scary to deal with so I usually keep the windows closed as often as possible" He supposed there was nothing wrong to admitting to a little fear, from what he had seen they hardly seemed like the types to take advantage of such fears.
Gilrin could swear she was dreaming. A quick glance down at her palms confirmed this was not so.
Looking into the room caused her to visibly make a face. "It's, charming," speaking to remain as polite as possible. It was clear that no one wanted to stay in there. "What's on the fourth floor?" She asked half in curiosity, half in having little else to say. This place could be consuming if one were to let it. Gilrin crossed her arms snugly, shivering slightly.
Distinct Werewolf
"Rearrange itself, haha." Curtis imagined it. "That would be a fun way to begin the morning."
He stood in the doorway of the tacky room longer than he probably should have, but the room had him in awe. He had actually never seen such bright colors before. Maybe in clothing, if you were wealthy enough to afford the rich pigmented articles, but not painted on the walls. Also, he had no idea what a bathing tub would be doing right there, in the middle of the room, without any decent privacy! He shuddered at the thought, before continuing to follow on their personal tour.
"So...in a hypothetical situation...if one were to look at the window, and see his or her own world...and if they were to 'jump' through the window...would it be possible to return to their home?" It was probably a moot point to discuss, but it was food for thought. With all things considered and all the questions asked, the patience of his tour guide was remarkable.
"You aren't cold, dear, are you?" Curtis asked sympathetically, and nudged Gilrin's side a bit.
~~~~~Azazel suppressed a small giggle when the reactions of the pair were so different, even if he did not seem to like it Curtis almost seemed impressed by the room. Azazel shut the door and showed another, this one much more modestly colored in tan colors with a dark blue rug. The furniture did not exactly match well with the walls but it at least lacked bath in the center of the room. There was a relatively simple couch along with a desk and several mostly empty bookcases and chests. There was an open door that led to a bedroom similarly colored and behind a closed door there was a large bathroom. There was a small fireplace with a thick barred metal gate in front of it. The same green fire that was in the downstairs was in the room, along with most of the bedrooms. "The rooms up here have separate bedrooms and middle rooms. The ones downstairs only have the one room to fit everything. Most of the rooms are something along these lines with the main difference being the colors and types of furniture inside." Azazel led them to another room, this one was decorated in a Victorian style, with dark colored wood paneled walls and a dark red carpet, the furniture even matched the style of the rest of the room. He and Airi had used this room for a while, but when the Library's living quarters became available because of the sudden death of its previous occupant they had moved into there. "There are lots of others, so feel free to pick any one you want."Azazel thought about the question about the windows for a moment. "The windows don't really open as far as I know. I've tried breaking them before but they seem unbreakable, so do the walls, though it might just be a lack of strength on my part, along with the others I know who have tried." He was significant stronger then he looked but he was not the strongest he had known while living here, so he felt it was more likely simply that he was right about the walls being unbreakable then anything else.

The forest dweller shied away just a bit, very ticklish after all. She nodded at him in response shrugged her bare shoulders. Both the next two room options were clearly better than the first they had been shown. Still, Gilrin found herself torn.

She hadn't the heart to pick, fearing she would take the one Curtis fancied. "You decide first." She told him, not giving much wiggle room in the matter. She looked back to the wonderful Azazel and asked, "What's in the green house?" It didn't really matter as she figured there was no way of getting out to it with the door being gone. Still, when it had been mentioned it piqued her interest and she wondered if it was just as odd as the rest of this place.

Distinct Werewolf

"Unbreakable, huh..."
That would probably be the best reason, more than anything else, to keep the windows shuttered. It would be something miserable to see your old home out there, but still unattainable. Especially if one saw a familiar face strolling down the street...-
"Pity." He dismissed the idea as quickly as it came, to return to their previous discussion.

"You want me to decide?" He asked, minding to keep a small distance from the equine woman. Her flinching away caught him a tad off guard. He hoped he wasn't that intimidating...

Curtis poked his head around the red room. This one most resembled his home, above all the other rooms of the inn he had seen today, but both options presented just now were quite lovely. "Oho, no no. Ladies first, Miss. As always." He held both his hands up, his way of gesturing he had no preference.

Azazel had not been in the greenhouse recently, he had been sleeping for a long time as far as he knew so he suspected it was in a state of disrepair. "Usually the greenhouse has some fruits and vegetables growing, along with some flowers and bushes. There is a little pond out there, it even has some fishes, not that the fishes are really big enough to enjoy as food." Not that he hadn't tried a couple times when he had really wanted meat and the did not have any. Both times the fish had not been very satisfying. The greenhouse itself was actually accessible by going through one of the doors in the bar itself. He figured it had a fairly low priority on the tour so he did not bother going there first. "It's rather creepy there at night, do you mind waiting until morning to check the greenhouse out?" There was usually either a black void outside or a creepy dense wooded area outside of the greenhouse. Both were equally creepy to him, though not for the same reasons. "The good news is that after the greenhouse there are only a handful of scary things left to talk about." He meant it mostly as a joke, but it came out rather pessimistically. "There is a pretty big green and brown room down the hall if you like a natural feeling room. There is a nice green and black one too, I think that one looks a bit strange but it's an option too I suppose."

She stared at him for a long moment. It was a gesture filled with chivalry no doubt, but she was not in the mood. She rubbed the middle of her forehead with her fingers, a spot right in the center growing uncomfortable.

At the comment of the tour guide she perked up. "Brown and green sounds lovely, " she said moving down the hall opening a few 'safe' doors and finding it rather quickly. She poked her white haired head in and gazed about, everything in order she shut the door and took the few steps back over to the two. Azazel's joke had gone noticed, or rather no comment could be made. Gil felt a little hopeless and crossed her arms once more, hugging herself tight. Coldness crept into the tips of her fingers, making them feel cumbersome.

Distinct Werewolf

"Oh, you will take the green one then? Excellent."The red room was picked in his mind, unless should anyone change their mind. He nodded through the whole greenhouse conversation, caring little for fruits or vegetables.

"Is that so? What other frightful things may there be?" Curtis toyed back. "Monsters in the closets? Demons under the bed?" He wiggled his fingers, making a faux spooky gesture that would normally be used towards small children when talking about evil imaginary creatures. His mood was lightening, slowly. Not really because of acceptance of his fate, but moreso denial and humor was a nervous tick.

Gilrin, however, didn't appear to be doing as 'well.' It would be in his nature to comfort a woman who was making the same motions as she was. By perhaps a friendly embrace, or things of the like. But that was dismissed quickly. Ignoring the habit to nudge her again, he asked "You wouldn't want my jacket, would you?" It was folded over his arm from when he entered. Chills may have not been exactly what was bothering her, but hugging herself did suggest she was cold anyways so he had no problem asking. Besides, he guessed no one wanted to approach that eerie green flame for warmth. He offered it out to her, purely out of sympathetic, chivalrous intent.
