Lethe grinned and reached over to pat one of his folded arms. "I'm secure in the knowledge that he only tries to insult me because he is jealous. In fact, everyone knows about his jealousy and he is often made fun of. Besides if 'bloody hair' is the best he can up with, I have nothing to worry about." She hoped that stopped Blaise from doing anything rash. A demon at her rivals rank would almost definitely win.

Looking up after feeling Lethe's touch, Blaise's skin dimmed and he had a blush on his face once more. "S..still he shouldn't take his jealousy out on you. E..even if he does it patheticly, he just shouldn't cause your a nice pretty girl and should b..be treated as such." He tried to keep eye contact with Lethe as he was talking to her but his shyness kept getting the best of him. He was a sucker when it came to a pretty girl.

This shy Blaise was much more what she was used to. As always, she obsessed over anything at all related to fire and watching his skin change as it did fascinated her. For a moment she didn't speak, merely admiring the magma.

"Don't worry Blaise," she said his name like a caress. "He pokes fun at my layabout brother far more often than me. The hand that was still resting on his arm stroked his skin softly before retracting, "But thank you for caring about me."

As she admired his skin Blaise looked away shyly. He would periodically glance up at Lethe out of curiousity but his eyes would quickly shoot back away from eye contact. Hearing about Lethe's brother sparked his intrest and he wanted to ask but at the moment he was to shy. A shiver ran up his spine as Lethe stroked his arm with her soft skinned hand but he still managed to smile shyly and nod after she thanked him. He now had a better question that was bugging him for some time and looking back up at her he mustered up what little courage he had at the moment and decided to ask. "L..Lethe....w..why do you like touching me so much?"

Though she had pulled her hand back fairly quickly, he still seemed slightly stunned at her touch. It made her smile softly. She especially thought it was cute that he couldn't seem to meet her eyes.

"I hope this doesn't seem shallow to you." She paused for a moment to try and make sure he wasn't going to be offended, "My home is very cold and there are no fires allowed there. When I was finally old enough to leave, I found fire and was immediately obsessed."

Ԑthan sat up in his bed and stretched with a quiet yawn. He had come and gone several times in the past few days. It was nice to not have to go through the bar to leave. He also definitely liked the slight touch of magic that meant his bedroom was exactly as he wanted it every time he opened the door. This place was like a paradise and it was time he started bringing his real life into it.

The thought was birth to the deed. Twenty minutes he had showered and gotten comfortable on the couch. A few seconds later he was in the bar directly behind his sister in a much flashier outfit. Somehow she never could sense him. In another few seconds he and the master key to his room were back on the couch in the dull outfit he had started his day with.

Lethe snarled under her breath. It was true that she couldn't sense her brother, but she could definitely sense the moment her keys were no longer attached to her. She only hoped that Blaise didn't see the angry twist of her lips that made her seem unattractive... or her brother.

Taking a deep breath, she focused on Blaise's skin and tried to calm down. Finally, her thoughts sorted themselves out and she was able to find the silver lining in not having access to Ԑthan's room. Ԑthan was always good for business when he was in the mood to be.

Blaise smiled and shook his head in responce to if he was thought she was shallow, It would be really difficult for her to offend him seeing that he liked her so much. "S...so that's why...Well th..that's okay I I guess." he said shyly as he kept from making eye contact with her. He then began to wonder who exactly was Lethe's brother, he had a pretty good idea who it was but he never really confirmed if it were true that Ethan was her brother or not. Speaking of which Blaise really didn't know what to think of Ethan he had only seen him a few times in which he learned nothing about him. He didn't like that one bit, though he wasn't going to confront the man, Blaise wanted to learn more when he could, but from a distance.

{Ԑthan is on the couch in his suite of rooms, not in the bar. He has a trick that lets him get to and from places very quickly.}

Ԑthan hopped up off the couch and went to change clothes. Normally, when he was like this, he wanted to blend in and not stand out. But now he was bringing over a very special guest and she was proving very hard to impress.

When he was finished primping his bright red hair was carefully styled and he was wearing a slightly tight button down black shirt with red patterns lightly decorating the left side and sleeve. He also wore a pair of faded black jeans that fit snugly and looked a mere scrape away from ripping. Once he was prepared, he left his room and joyfully locked his door with the key that had been his sister's.

Looking down at the bar Blaise traced a circle on the counter without making a mark with his finger. "S...so Lethe um w..what d..do you do? For fun that is, w..when your not working." he stuttered shyly periodicly looking up to see if she or anyone else that he hadn't noticed was laughing at him or not. As he thought about his question he paused as his blush and skin brightened, he couldn't believe what he had just asked her.

Lethe actually had to think about the question for a minute or more. "You know Blaise... I work so much that I can't really remember the last time I took some time off. As I recall though, I enjoyed things like go-karts and sports. I've also spent a lot of time partying, but that's as much work as it is fun."

Now Lethe was feeling slightly self-conscious. Who didn't stop to have fun? It wasn't as if she didn't have fun, she did.

{I wanted to post last night, but I'm sick and exhausted. I'm gonna go to bed early tonight so I'll be off by midnight or 11 EST.}

Blaise tilted his head and staired at Lethe. He had no idea what it was like to play a sport, throw a party, or ride a go-kart before he got all of his seals he never could. It took him a bit but what he could pick up on her facial expression she was uncomfortable. He must have caused it with his question. "I'm I'm sorry...I didn't mean to upset you if if I did. I I only asked out of curiousity." Slowly and hesitantly he placed his hand over hers and gripped lightly. "B..but someone as p..pretty as you deserves to have a break. An...and if you w..want you could get away with one right now, no ones here that you could serve besides me and to be honest I just wanna see you have some fun." he said quietly as he looked at her still lightly blushing.

"Oh, don't worry Blaise you didn't upset me at all. I was just wondering what my life had become that I couldn't even take the time to have the fun I used to. Its a wonder I've retained my figure," at the last she winked.

She was trying to be careful to ignore the little overtures he was making towards her. Lethe knew that if she got too deeply involved with him he would want to be her boyfriend and that simply was not allowed. Neither her family, nor her employers would allow her to have a boyfriend. Plus, she wasn't sure she was ready for anything like that either.

"I can't leave the tavern now, but once I get another employee or something, then I should be able to leave. So you'll have to wait a bit if you want to see me have fun," she laughed.

Blaise blush brightened when Lethe winked at him, though her words saddened him. He was really hoping that he could have seen her have fun. Frowning he lowered his head for a bit then Lethe's words, once I get anouther employee, echoed in his head. "W..what.....what if I became an employee? I..I can do almost an..anything. Then...could you?" He asked quietly as he looked at her expectantly waiting for an answer.
