Snapping out of his little trance after hearing his name Blaise lowered his hand away from his face and looked up at Lethe. "Nothing's wrong! No Nothing! Nothing at all!" he said nervously as he averted his eyes. He wanted to tell her what exactly was on his mind but he feared the outcome that he had ensured himself would most likely happen. Rejection....and the terrible things that would follow it. Him hugging her, giving her gifts, flirting, everything right down to just talking to her. It would all be made awkward.

Rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand and yawning, a teenage girl with blue hair was wandering down the thin gravel path that led toward the inn. "If that building is just my mind playing tricks on me again, I'm going to scream." she muttered softly to herself and sighed exasperatedly. The girl, dressed in a floor length, wool black coat pushed the front door open slowly and glanced around. Nodding a hello to the door keeper she tried to find where the heat in the building was coming from so that she could warm up.
She stripped off her coat, revealing a mid-thigh, simple, white, cotton dress that was made form fitting with a dark blue corset that matched her fingerless gloves. Sitting near the fire, on the ground, she was shivering slightly and quite oblivious to anyone else in the room; she was simply staring at the fire, her sapphire blue eyes locked on the flames.
Lethe merely stood with one hip slightly cocked and smiled at Blaise. She stood like that for a little longer was technically normal. Normal people might have started to get uncomfortable. Lethe had just opened her mouth to say something when someone new walked in.

Though the woman acknowledged Akheron, Lethe felt it necessary as always to repeat the greeting. "Hey! Welcome! Let me know if I can get you anything." Though apparently the woman only needed the warmth of the fire. Something Lethe would never truly be able to understand. At least the woman's outfit was adorable.

Turning her attention back to Blaise, a smile slipped back over her lips. "You're cute when you get like that." She didn't clarify.

"Ah, um... Thank you" The girl muttered with wide eyes, seeming shocked at the fact that someone else was in there. She was fine at the moment, slowly regaining heat but being careful not to get too warm. She sat on one of the chairs that was farther away from the fire and looked around the room, a little shy and not knowing exactly where she was. With a small shrug she decided she had to stay at least one night then move on in the morning to find an instructor or a teacher like her brother had told her to.
A heavy sigh left her lips and she rubbed her eyes before looking down at her feet. she was only wearing worn hiking boots and they were soaked through. She frowned, not wanting to even think about all of the blisters she probably had. It would be a miracle if she could even get up on her feet tomorrow to leave.

Hiding his blush Blaise kept his head lowered. Why was he so spineless when ever he talked to her? He a demon who could at the drop of a hat kill and steal the souls of hundreds of people, it didn't matter what their age was or what they looked like it didn't even matter if it was a man or woman he would have killed them. But he couldn't bring himself to keep eye contact with Lethe for more than five seconds. "L...like w....what?" he asked shyly wondering if she was making fun of him or flirting, either way the lava demon would be blushing.

It was not long before the girl was warm, dry and now debating whether or not to take off her shoes to inspect her feet. She knew she needed to but at the same time didn't want to because she knew what she would find. With a heavy sigh, the blue-haired girl slowly unlaced her shoes and pulled them off slowly, wincing slightly. "Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow" She muttered under her breath and bit her lip. Frowning at her feet she inspected them, they were covered in blisters and a couple of sores. With a muttered profanity under her breath she looked up and saw the woman still talking to a man and didn't want to interrupt. So, the girl continued to sit silently, frowning at her feet, listening for when the conversation ended or had a noticeable lull.
Overhearing the, "Why thank you...milady." from the fat guy - some effort from him to try and seduce Lethe? - Roksana couldn't help but give a small chuckle.

She glanced over at the blue-haired woman as she sat by the fire to warm her shivering self. When she pulled off her boots with some wincing 'ow ow ows' a slim blonde eyebrow raised. Roksana gave a low whistle. "I've seen women wear some pretty outrageous shoes when it comes to the whole idea of fashion over comfort, but it looks like you must have hiked an hour or two to get here." The boots themselves weren't exactly in perfect condition either.

"It's cold outside?" The statement was said as a question.

Roksana decided not to bother trying to count the blisters and sores covering the girl's feet.

The girl, Arashi, pulled her attention away from her feet, yet still held them gingerly as she looked to try to find who was talking. Her eyes fell on Roksana and she blinked a couple of times, taking a moment to decide whether the statement was directed at her or not. After smiling sheepishly and glancing down at her still drying hiking books the girl gave a small laugh. "I've been on the road for a while, you think I'd learn to take care of my own feet, huh?" There was a hint of scolding directed at herself in her tone, but she was mostly in a lighthearted mood.
"You could say it's a little chilly, and I've never been one to withstand the cold very well..." Arashi sighed and gave another small smile before turning her body slightly towards Roksana. "Has this place always been here? When I passed through the nearest town, they didn't say anything about it..."
Lethe made a mental note to make sure the girl by the fire got a few blankets if she fell asleep. Well, as long as she didn't just randomly freeze up as some did. As the poor girl took her shoes off to reveal a series of sores, Lethe made another mental note to get her some lotion and a foot bath.

She kept her attention basically focused on Blaise for the moment which meant she almost missed the fat man's response. However, hearing Roksana chuckle made her burst into a short giggle. No one had called her milady in years. She might have to cultivate the fat man just for his laugh value. At least Roksana was paying some attention to their guest. Though Lethe shouldn't rely on her for that.

Her mind was too bent on teasing Blaise. Or flirting. It was a fine line. Her fingers came up to lightly caress her pendant in an obvious way. She took a half step closer to him and leaned down a little to get into his averted eye line. "Shy and self-conscious." The fingers that had caressed the pendant now did the same to his cheek.

[[EDIT]]
The question of the girl had to be directed at someone who would know the answer. That would be Lethe and Lethe alone. "The building has been here for many years, but we've only recently renovated it. Also, the business here hasn't been public for a good long while." Hearing the talk of cold, Lethe remembered how other people felt about it. "Are you sure you don't need anything?"

Arashi brought her attention to the first woman again and cocked her head slightly before nodding, that made sense to her. She bit her lip lightly and thought for a moment, not wanting to be a nuisance but needing something for her feet, she quietly responded "Some rubbing alcohol pads and bandages would be wonderful... and maybe a bowl of warm water if it isn't too much trouble." Arashi looked away again, a shy and sheepish girl who rarely kept eye contact for more than ten seconds at a time. "Thank you... for your hospitality" she tagged onto the end with a small, sincere smile.

Lethe really did know how to nudge him to get more embarrassed and shy, even when he didn't think it was possible, she found a way. He felt a chill run down his spine as she caressed his cheek. Opening his mouth to argue that he wasn't shy he only stuttered as she managed to make eye contact. "I.....I...I'm..I..um..I." Of course while he said this his entire face was still being lit up by his blush, even when she started talking to the other woman who wanted that evil liquid (water).
"You could say it's a little chilly, and I've never been one to withstand the cold very well..."

Hah. "Me neither."

Wasn't that the honest truth?

Before Roksana could give a response to the girl's question, Lethe cut in with an explanation. Good thing too considering that she, being the owner, would be the best person to ask of course.

Well, despite what Lethe said about the inn not getting enough business, there were always at least a few people inside. That had to count for something. Now that this newcomer was here along with a couple others, Roksana figured soon enough there would be more when the word got out.

Roksana looked down at the girl's poor feet. "While you're at it, you might want to consider getting some new shoes somewhere around here. Especially if you're planning on travelling again any time soon."

Arashi looked around, seeming to just now notice everyone in the room and smiling a bit. She enjoyed places that weren't overcrowded yet still had a few people to talk to.
Glancing down at her beat up boots Arashi sighed softly and nodding in reluctant agreement. "I do need some new boots... I would have brought a second pair with me but I didn't expect to be traveling this long." she shook her head then smiled again. "I might be asking for directions to the nearest shop to buy some shoes once I can walk without wincing again" She laughs lightheartedly.
Lethe decided that Blaise's stuttering sort of spoke for itself. "Have I made my point?" She stepped in close, lifted his chin, winked, and gave him another kiss on the cheek before quickly pulling away.

Having effectively dealt with Blaise, Lethe gave a grin to the cold girl, "No problem at all!" Lethe went to broom closet. It was one of those that had a little sink in it for mopping. Lethe used the sink to fill up a little foot bath while she collected medicine and bandages. She put some epsom salt with it in case the girl wanted to add some. Lethe didn't want to add it now in case some of the sores were open.

"Shoes are one of those things I can't really help you with," Lethe said as she walked back out of the closet. She knelt a little to make sure she didn't spill the water when she set it down. "Here you are. Hope this helps." She set the bandages, alcohol pads, bandages, and some neosporen down on the ground near it.
