The vibrations underfoot seemed to cease all at once throughout the grounds of the inn, perhaps unnoticed at first through the noise of the fighting and the sheer amount of disturbance caused by the number of thundering footsteps of the oni; this did not make it any less notable however. Once a moment passed, the tremors resumed, although this time with much greater force as several loud cracks that could be heard by all from deep below their feet, the previously formed crevices in the expanse of garden grew wider, the height of each portion of earth they encircled either shaking violently or forced higher as an ominous crumbling could be heard from the depths of the earth. All those assembled out in the gardens would be thrown about by this new development, many flamelurkers in particular slowly losing their balance and falling heavily whereas the oni ceased their approach on the main building from one area in particular, instead fighting amongst each other as another mindset sought to dominate their insatiable rage.

In the meantime, certain portions of the grounds on its outer reaches lost their stability and collapsed, starting to form cliffs with a sheer drop around the entire perimeter of the inn’s grounds; this could have been to prevent escape, but the strange aura produced from each exposed void into the ground suggested it may have been something more as the wind picked up by any unseen force. The rain may have eased but the sky continued to darken and rumble, shifting to an unusual shade of purple-red, tainting the morning sunlight considerably as the weather conditions seemed to change once again, now under the control of something quite different.

A large number of the flamelurkers found themselves cut down before the stronger earth tremors even began, the mech made short work of them even in its steadily degrading state, to which the felled flame demons could only languish on the ground, some in the process of being consumed by their own hellfire with dying howls as the mech was recalled skyward by an unseen but powerful force. The nearest flamelurkers still standing close-by to the human that remained lurched toward him, elongated and twisted limbs slowly swiping and grasping in the hope of ensnaring him in their skeletal hands when the three leading their number were knocked back by projectiles of ethereal plasma. These long-suffering beings were also residents of inferno, hence the substance was recognisable enough to them that it should be handled carefully, to which they slowly backed away. The sight of the substance also communicated to the flame demons that they were in the presence of a being likely better versed in the intricate depths of inferno than they, particularly since they were heavily manipulated over centuries by their master, groomed for battle and little else. The oni behind them however did not share the same intelligence and barged past the hesitating flamelurkers, ignoring the smouldering of their feet on the molten ground and the spears of the ethereal substance sinking into their flesh the electric oni taking the lead gave a bellow, ripping away one of the felled flamelurkers limbs and flailing it about wildly, dangerously close to the man whom had exited the mech but more directly at the undead feline.

The ruptured earth close-by to the koi pond unceremoniously exploded upward as reinforcements for the oni surged onto the battlefield from the exposed tunnel below, lumps of earth rained down about all those in the near vicinity as the creatures began to bellow loudly. Crushing the bodies of their felled comrades underfoot, the oni scattered, leaping over the slowly increasing voids in the ground as they continued to slowly drift apart, effectively splitting those attempting to drive them back. It seemed the humans were gathered in two separate sections whereas the rampaging succubus was in another, the area she stood upon swamped in disfigured corpses as she fought on tirelessly; the main building remained in the largest segment in what now looked like a giant jigsaw puzzle, the kitsune and those facing them within its boundaries. The oni responded to this in abandoning their approach on the inn for now, their master was near and their goal was to remove all obstacles, to which their forces divided between each habituated section of the garden.

Seeing that the succubus had reached a momentum that was unlikely to stop, the oni that surrounded her were resigned to their fate, unrelenting in their attacks in spite of the corpses of their kind littering the area. Her limit would eventually be reached, or an opening presented, this was all the beasts had to hope for when more of their number came charging toward their previously lessening number surrounding her. Elemental attacks of varying kinds flew about in random directions in the chaos, so frantic was the fighting the oni would bite and claw almost blindly. The succubus may have sustained injury in the process but she was easily the most successful on the battlefield in terms of the sheer number of enemies she had felled. The apparent downside however was her degrading sense of awareness outside the bloodlust she shared with the oni she fought, whether she could stop was not just a concern for the oni, but for any of her allies as well.
***
Matching the snarls uttered by the old woman now facing them defiantly, several of the oni still twitched on the ground from her previous attack of considerable power, most certainly unable to rise and quite dead, their twitching merely a residual side-effect. Their remaining number however were not reinforced, the rate in which Hanyo was rampaging saw more of their number leap across the widening crevice and face her instead, leaving only a handful directly about Isshu and Himiko as she cut down an oni of her own. Yet the mindless oni seemed unphased, closing in, all the electrical oni of their number surged with electricity, charging forward as their ice-based counterparts exhaled frigid wind in their wake, chilling the ground and freezing it within seconds, making movement without the benefit of clawed feet somewhat more difficult. The fire oni held back however, no remaining of the earth variety in their particular gathering as they had suffered the greatest losses of all present. The fire oni simply moved toward the crevice and the small fragment of land that still unsteadily remained, connecting where the two humans stood to where the succubus fought on. It would not remain intact much longer however, to which the fire oni blocked the route, flames springing up about them. Physical attacks would not shift the beasts, but perhaps more of that unusual electricity would do the trick...
***
Blasted apart or simply injured enough to not rise from the ground, the oni that had taken the full force of the air assault from the Bebop no longer posed a threat, but with reinforcements arriving to replace their number it seemed the situation could well become more desperate from this point on. Earth and electric oni dominated this section of the battlefield, although some fire and ice oni still remained, many had seen their number cut down from the attacks from the sky. These fire and ice oni that were still present in this section however focussed on firing projectiles at the space craft, an unrelenting and heavy stream of flame and ice followed its every move, slowly causing significant damage to the hull. The reprieve the air support offered would be short, but shorter still if it did not move out of the line of fire quickly.
The addition of more humans to fight was not welcomed by the oni in the least, to which they became all the more aggressive. Electric oni in their droves gave chase to the woman dressed in yellow as well as the woman with the ability to teleport, clearly attempting to split the group further as the elderly woman and her younger companion with a blade were already a considerable distance away. Swinging their fists blindly, sparks flying from their forms, the electric oni made every effort to catch the two women, paying little attention to the gunshot wounds they received in the process. The two human males were also encircled, but by a large number of earth oni, heavier in build and less vulnerable to bullets they were slower but potentially more powerful if they could land a hit. Seeing that one was already injured significantly, they could see no need in chasing them down, to which they began to raise small boulders from the earth and toss them in their direction as they closed ranks.
***
There was of course one more aspect that was soon to change for the oni however, upon release of an unseen element the previously strait jacketed human released, the surrounding oni were plunged into a sense of confusion. No longer enraged but uncertain, almost fearful as they milled about each other, the charred remnants of the hedge trampled as the oni lashed out at each other randomly. Flames licked the ground before being chilled by ice, rocks were tossed and flicked about by plumes of airborne electricity. It was indeed chaos. Several of their number split off and ran in another direction, sure to infect any they came into contact with, as those remaining fought amongst themselves. The sole human standing amongst them however was left in an awkward position, now the oni would now lash out at anything, rendering him just as much a target as several ice oni close by fired fragments of ice in all directions.

Roaring with a hideous laughter at the nekojin’s misfortune, moreso at the elderly woman’s interjection, Nirriti clung to the scythe as it flew sideward, the nekojin in the other direction. Increasing the intensity of the aura about her form, the wire wrapped about the demon kitsune slowly melted away whilst the scythe was still airborne, allowing her to land comfortably nearby, still cackling somewhat as the cat-girl regained her bearings. Nirriti seated herself as the nekojin proceeded to list the outcomes of her possible fate as a result of this encounter, to which she tapped her numerous tails on the ground in thought, wide grin somewhat mocking.
All of them!”
Sensing the nekojin’s renewed determination; the kitsune leapt to her feet and gave a yowl as she began to charge. Her sibling did seem to be suffering, but that was all they knew. It was familiar like an old friend, which could well have explained both Nirriti’s and Rudra’s unusual mentalities. Nirriti however had less of her mind, her sibling may have retained more of his intelligence, but Nirriti did not in favour of the power offered by a lack in her other mental processes. Finding her tongue no longer was numb, Nirriti whipped it at the nekokin, ensnaring her ankle and pulling hard. It may not have been the wisest move all things considered, but Nirriti was too enthralled to care, even if the watchful gaze of what could have been a guardian to the nekojin had arrived nearby.
***
Seeing the elderly woman spring into action, mixed energies amassing about her, Rudra’s sightless vision observed her progress whilst he remained pinned beneath the jorogumo, his fellow kitsune handling her own adversary in her own unique way nearby left him alone in quite the situation, although it wasn’t considered unwelcome. Hearing the elderly woman announce her suspicions on the abilities of him and his sibling, Rudra did not seem phased and continued chuckling to himself. Half-right was close enough, although there was one detail they seemed to miss which would work to the kitsune’s advantage. Seeing that the old woman moved on with a view to help others, Rudra’s chuckling increased at hearing the black feline’s comment, his voice however low and almost menacing.
“...Of course you were. Nothing gets past you...little know-it-all feline. But those delusions of grandeur will be your downfall...”
Hissing through his teeth and yet still chuckling as he watched the black feline start to transfer a surge of healing magical energies, the Rudra gave a slight shudder as his wounds started to heal, yet still he remained unmoving. More time. That was all he needed. His sibling went about her work at a good pace so it would not take long. The sudden shifting of the earth could be just the cover he needed for the allotted time to pass without incident.

Rising from the molten liquid about the feet of the flamelurkers, an indistinct mass seemed to slowly emerge from the magma, moving along its surface, smouldering with heat. Yet oddly it shifted away from where the flamelurkers surrounded their quarry, clearly with no interest in their confrontation with the undead feline and the wielder of the mech. Even when many of the flame demons were injured or fell completely by the offensive overhead from the spacecraft, it did not cease its progress, leaving a trail of molten rock in its wake as it began to grow in size. For an instant the molten substance seemed to move alongside a crimson distortion in the air much more malevolent in nature, the almost formless shape moving along the single plate of earth, past where the bulk of the fighting was taking place and away from the innumerable demons besides those that attempted to repel them. The ethereal spider still lurking with the many smaller spiders milling about had its attention now, although the necromancer was directly in its path and would certainly be the first to encounter it. With that, the molten liquid seemed to expand as it moved, clearly it was yet to emerge in its entirety, the protrusion from the earth much like a shark’s fin cutting through the soil.

Wood creaking underneath her feet, Mistress felt where she was going not only be feeling, but through sensing tiny spiders that were walking around her feet. She was graceful and careful not to step on them as her home was burned under her fingers' light touch. She was devistated, her heart screamed, yet she continued on within sound to follow her except rubble moving underneath her feet. The sounds of battle raged outside, but it was so far in the distance... it was as if it weren't happening. She didn't want to believe this was happening to her home, her family, her friends. A large explosion of white in the distance as Suiteki unleashed the energy within the amulet, the explosion of color as everyone's aura's worked to take out the viscous elemental energies in the area. "Suiteki-chan.. "Mistress said in a low voice while searching for her energy signature.

Being able to see the battle's energy through the walls of Blooming Lotus, Mistress was trying to locate the little kappa's form to no avail as a surge of power coursed through her while something or rather someone got thrown through and into the Sitting Room. Whipping around to see Nolan's energy through the wall, Mistress reached out only to touch wood and see a large kappa's essence come into play. The place Mistress' hand touch began to frost over as did the radius of the ice forming around her feet, the white streak in her hair expanding. One of Suiteki's friends had stayed behind to help, they had taken orders from their lord and Nigorimizu's note and brethren were most helpful, except the one's Scratch had taken and used against Mistress and her house guests. Thinking on the pouch within her obi, Mistress clasped her hands over it and the power within the pouch radiated through the crimson floral fabric. Suiteki was kind enough to read her Lord's message the night before to Mistress the night before, the gift he had sent her from the remains of the Nue that had possessed Ryuu.

Snapping her head up, Mistress smelt the air... her sensed sharper after that blood magic Nolan expelled throughout the area making her instincts flare as the Jorogumo hissed. It was as if he were all around her, the tainted being that came for her, he was getting closer and it made Mistress uneasy. The magics that cloaked him made the air smell like cigarette smoke and sulfur, he was phasing in.... snarling, Mistress began spinning webbing within the Main Hallway of Blooming Lotus, the room frosted over and her power even drifted slowly into the Sitting Room and Kitchen. The roof of the second floor was covered in icicles as a large ice web was created to stand between the rest of the room and the front door. She wanted Scratch to stop in his tracks and there was going to be hell.

Suddenly, a power filled the air, it was coming from the Sitting Room Nolan was in.. what did he do? His aura was distorted, it was him, but it wasn't. The feelings that swelled in her chest, Mistress stopped lining her ice chamber with purifying threads to step up into The Sitting Room seeing the aura of what was left of Nolan go out back into battle in an icy wake. Mistress, herself frosted over, approached the powerful form of Nolan as he looked out over the battlefield. Placing a chilled hand upon his bare shoulder, his clothes torn off for the most part, she wanted his attention for just a moment. That may have been the last moment she'd ever have with the necromancer. "Nooolaan," her voice echoing softly from the power radiating in her veins, "Lissten to mee, I know you are ssstill in in there. Please, be careful. Should He come for me.. don't. I cannot let you die by Hisss hand." Her hand moved from his shoulder to his cheek as Mistress moved to stand in front of his ghostly form. Their power mixing and mingling for a moment, "I care too much for you," her powerful yet soft voice. Mistress then moved up to stand close to Nolan's bloody and battered form and kissed his lips. As her frosty lips remained on Nolan's in such a short moment, it felt like a lifetime as their cool breath chilled the air around them once parted.

Mistress was the first to pull away, but she kept her hand on his cheek for a moment longer before letting her pale fingers drop. A tiny blue spider then hitched a ride on Nolan's shoulder when the frosted jorogumo returned her hand to her side. Mistress then stepped to the side and let her dear friend pass going into the sitting room and back into the hallway of the Inn. It was a prison of ice with a couple of little surprises for Scratch when he arrived. Mistress was going to make sure he knew that she was suffering... that she was hurt, but she wouldn't let that stop her from doing what she needed to do. He could come at her with an entire army and she still wouldn't allow him to use her like a puppet. Climbing up into the webbing, Mistress shrouded herself in an ice cocoon in one of the corners. The entire ceiling covered in ice, the shroud was infused with Mistress' mystical energy to make her hide her aura for the time being. It was as if she stopped her heart and was nowhere to be found.

                                              O O C
I didn't read new addition just now, but I'm going to edit if there is something random I missed in Mistress' direction

Theme: What planet is this?!
Current Company: Jet Black, Faye Valentine.
Providing air support: Edward (Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV), Ein (The dog).

════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

Once the ground began to shake violently, Spike automatically crouched once again in an effort to keep his balance, wincing at the increased pressure on his damaged ribs. Jet on the other hand was not as quick to react, looking somewhat mystified at Spike’s reaction at first, he followed suit some seconds afterward when he found retaining his balance too difficult. Faye stumbled to a stop beside Autumn when the ground started to shift, extending her hand and offering it to help balance the other woman as she attempted to do the same, quickly shooting with her free hand at a dying earth oni attempting to lash out at them from where it lay upon the ground.

Barely offering any reprieve, as soon as the vibrations of the earth ceased the oni seemed to bolster their ranks, swarming toward where all were gathered. Isshu and Himiko seemed set on attempting to ease Hanyo’s bloodlust and had ventured further from the group to approach her, allowing the oni to effectively cut them off as yet more approached; in spite of the number felled by Edward’s efforts in the Bebop overhead they were numerous and certainly disgruntled. Straightening from his crouched position with another wince and reloading his pistol, Spike blinked upon hearing his name and looked to where Autumn stood alongside a somewhat disgruntled Faye.
”Suiteki? Wait, you’re right. I haven’t seen that annoying little frog for a while either...”
Preparing the AK that had been slung over his shoulder by his comrade,Spike then followed Autumn’s gaze toward where the exceptionally large tree once stood. Not even ashes seemed to remain now, to which he looked quite concerned. Jet stood from his crouched position also, looking over the weapons he carried and eying the approaching mass of monsters warily. Hearing Autumn and Spike converse however caught his attention, to which he raised a curious eyebrow and glanced toward Spike.
”Hey, is she...?”
Turning to look at his comrade and noticing the speculative look on his face, Spike’s eyebrows rose with a look of genuine surprise.
”What? No! Autumn’s a friend, Ryuu is...”
Trailing off on that thought, Spike’s expression immediately changed, recalling the events from earlier before the oni forced him on the defensive, the colour seemed to drain from his face. With that he immediately turned back to look upon the main building, only to find the roof was empty, only some rubble seemed to be sliding onto the ground as a more spectral form of Nolan emerged from the building. Looking all the more unnerved, his eyes darted from the roof to the surrounding area and noticed there did seem to be some fox-like creatures in the vicinity, as well as multiple other individuals, Ryuu included and still in one piece. Still concerned but glad to see her moving about once again, Spike heaved a relieved, if heavy sigh, met with a bemused expression from Jet whom attempted to follow where his comrade was looking and establish who he was focusing upon.
”So Ryuu’s her name, huh? I was starting to wonder, you were always vague ab-”
”Can’t you guys save that talk for later?!
Turning in unison to look toward Faye, she had already stood from her crouched position and remained beside Autumn with her pistol at the ready, aimed at a horde of oni charging toward them, bellowing loudly.
”You know how to use this, right?”
Glancing at Autumn and raising her free hand to pat the barrel of the shotgun the other woman carried, she spared Autumn a concerned look; judging by her nerves she wasn’t too comfortable with the situation. But then, Faye couldn’t say she felt any better about it either; the fact there were what she could only describe as monsters running about and weather conditions verging on fantastical were just two factors that took her apprehension to another level entirely. Much as Faye would never admit to it; if the bounty was big enough she didn't ask questions. Gripes aside she could only wonder what would have happened to Spike if they had not arrived when they did, not to mention all the others present. Starting to run in the other direction to gain some distance from the approaching electric oni, Faye encouraged Autumn to keep up as she fired random shots behind them, waiting for Edward to pick some of them off as she noticed both Spike and Jet were gradually being surrounded also.

When the newly arrived group of oni increased the numbers of those still continuing in their charge onward, the creatures rapidly began closing in on where the four were standing, although the same shadow went by overhead, peppering the creatures below with an array of lasers and heavy machinegun fire. Unfortunately however the element of surprise had passed and the trawler was met with a considerable amount of projectiles from the surviving oni in retaliation, rapidly building quite a great deal of damage to its worn hull.
“Owie! Bad creepies! They really don’t like Bebop-Bebop!”
“Woof!”User Image
Scowling as the space craft took quite a great deal of sustained damage, Jet shook his head as Edward’s voice rang loud and clear with Ein’s worried barking from the loudspeakers at the base of the ship. True enough a couple of waves of oni had been decimated by their efforts, but at the rate it was going the Bebop wouldn’t last much longer, to which Jet pulled a small radio from his pocket and began shouting orders to the young girl piloting the craft.
“Ed! You’re taking too much damage! Fall back!”
The ship however continued to circle regardless, randomly firing upon oni as the damage to its outer hull increased.
“Ai-ya, what are we going to do, Ein?!”
“Woof!!”
Grumbling loudly as he glanced up at the ship, Jet shouted into the radio once again as Spike opened fire on the oni nearing their position, smirking slightly.
"Some things never change..."
“Edward!”
“Oo-la-la! Aye-aye, Jet-person! Up-up and awayyy!”
Sighing irritably but clearly relieved the see the space trawler soar on after its last sweep, Jet paused to watch as it flew on out of range and presently out of sight; if Edward did as she had been told they’d be waiting at another location in reserve until they were called back again.

MOKONA

'Hehehehe~! Heeeey Spiiiiiiiiike hehehe mwahahahaha!'

The the cockpit of Swordfish II, a black ball of fur was chuckling to itself as it stood in the middle of the two navigation handles on the dashboard area. The visuals around the little black creature made him smirk, there was another aircraft also above the inn upon the Swordfish II's approach at an alarming speed. What made the cheery face of the creature drop was what he saw left of Blooming Lotus... the building had holes and smoke coming from all around. "Yuuko is not going to be happy when she sees this, Mokona is nooooot gonna be the one to tell her," shaking it's head, the black fur ball zooming over the garden at an amazing speed, it forgot to stop...
User Image
The red craft then halted in the distance and did a loop turning upside down, the cockpit visible to some bellow as black Mokona stood on the cockpit glass and maneuvered the Swordfish II unsidedown. It's red scarf and goggles making Mokona look the part of a pilot, the creature was yelling in excitement as he neared the smoking battlefield and got a glint in it's closed eyes. "C'mon, MONO! Let's boogie!" The Machine Operation Navigation of Outer space software in front of the little creature was auto-targeting demons on the monitor the creature was facing. This baby was locked and loaded beyond any capacity Spike's limited funding had allowed him. Spike Swordfish was being controlled by a little black fur ball.... and one the gunman happened to not like heehee.. Now the creature had his ship with ammo up the tail end, this was going to be fuuuunnn.

Suddenly a thump made the ship waiver as Mokona flew in to cover for the Bebop craft making a retreat, "Woah, what the heck fell on Fishy Sword?" he said aloud as the red wings had long range missiles ready. "Bwahahaha!" Mokona's laugh could be heard to all on the Blooming Lotus battlefield as the little black creature pressed a red button to fire. Blasting off, the missiles were headed for the ice oni trying to shoot icicles. Zeroing in every second then detonating making the ice oni powder, Mokona's maniacal laughter continued as two slots opened in the belly of the Swordfish II, a pair of machine guns as the aircraft descended upon flaming oni with Mokona's boss pilot skillz. Jumping around the cockpit, the black fur ball was steering the ship and avoiding most fire balls coming their way, but one of the missile loaders was damaged as the machine guns showered bullets at the oni coming closer and closer to the ground at an alarming rate.

Blood.
Blood everywhere.
Delicious. Intoxicating. Enthralling.
Yes, yes yes... more, more more...
Kill... Devour... Repeat....

She had no thoughts but these. She saw nothing but splashes of crimson. She felt no pain. Her arm had broken off at the elbow now. It lay shattered somewhere among the pile of bodies. Her hair was singed in places, uneven and rough. A few ribs had been cracked, though this didn't impede her one tiny amount. There was a gash across her forehead that looked as if, were her heart still beating, should be gushing blood.

An ice oni moved. Behind it, stood Himiko. That scent triggered something. Yes, the succubus recognized this smell. It smelled good... it reminded her of pleasurable times. Yes... this scent was delectable. Different than the rest. The vampire vixen sauntered over, teeth bared. Delicious woman. Better than the oni, for sure. Yet delicate, too. Instinct told her to be slow, gentle... no need to waste a drop of this blood by being to hasty...

Everything around him seemed to grow dim like an enveloping darkness surrounding his declining state of consciousness, but the whipping wind due to free falling throughout the air was what kept him hanging in the balance of reality, if only partially. The golden piece at his chest began to pulse with energy making it appear almost translucent causing one of his deep piercing brown eyes to barely open.

The only life forms encircling his fall from grace was the Flamelurkers that had earnestly brought forth their claws in high hopes of devouring his existence from this plain. However, a voice as piercing as seeing a phantom crept into the crevice of the area he had found himself; the heart he harbored had ceased beating a long time ago.

“Weakness is no puppet of mine, now awaken again,” the voice was unmistakably female but the soft caress of its note was not to be deceiving, though blanketed like an angelic fervor, there was a deception in disguise that graced him that fateful day.

“Not again…what the hell do you want?” He growled with impatience, the fall felt like an elongated process that didn’t want to end, as if this woman toyed with time itself making this moment painstakingly slow.

“Your existence, what else? Were you not the one who sought me out that day so long ago...do not twist the situation…” it was at that moment he could see a being shaped like a woman’s body but it was pale white with elf pointed ears the hair dancing upward as if she too were falling with him. Only her back remained to him, one leg crossed over the other with her toes pointed toward the ground during this fall with arms crossed, he never had seen her face or front, and this was how it always was.

The oddity that covered her nakedness was as if leaves were pieced together to form a short dress in design and had been willed together with magic while cleverly created by this demon’s specialty in manipulation with certain things, it seemed to wreak through her entire core. Anyone with special abilities would be able to feel the mysterious she devil, but she brought no harm to this Inn.

Groans from the Flamelurkers agony caused his head to snap all the way back so his chin faced toward the ground his body was drifting down to, this fall kept moving slow and it begun to really annoy him as an eyebrow twitched to better convey this point as the demon seemed to laugh at his expense proving to be quite boisterous. The Oni had severed members of its own team in a mindless voodoo doll state, since it was no surprise all these creatures were puppets of a sadistic master, there was no denying that.

“Oh dear me, have you gotten yourself into something comical again…you know, I should write plays about you, having my own puppets act out the chronologies of your life thus far, you’d make Shakespeare proud,” her lips curved at the left side of her mouth.

The electric Oni was scarily close now and it made the male wonder if he was going to get the jolt of a lifetime, “Oh swell…” the man sarcastically let escape from his lips, how the hell did he get into a treacherous dance such as this, this she-devil was hopeless, it was as if she found entertainment in his short comings.

“Not going to fight anymore, I thought you had more in you...what did she see in the likes of you anyway?” The demon’s hand fanned out with a shrug of nonchalance with her face forming a pout.

“SHUT YOUR..!” He was cut off however, while the red seemed to course through each eye of his now, as each hand formed into fists showing his contempt of the situation, readying himself since he had thought perhaps he’d have to embrace this electrical nuisance that sought out his destruction, but a starship of some kind came upon his position, and wasn’t sure if it would be friend or foe at first.

“I will be back for you, after all, you belong to me,” her lips curved up into a victorious smirk, and would blink her all blue eyes eyeing the Inn that was slowly withering due to these monsters. “Hmm…it appears I’ve been felt here, this has nothing to do with me, but another one to go down in your books, aye?” She’d keep her back to him before black wings formed out of her back and wrapped around herself before disappearing from sight.

“About damn time I got some peace from your….AHHH!” He clunked on the bottom of the Swordfish II, the skin of his exposed chest had landed on the round metal part of the upside down craft, a moan of displeasure left his lips, as it hurt like the dickens.

“My luck sucks…all because of that stupid broad…” he was very disgruntled indeed, before working his form into a knelt position holding on for dear life on the long pole with each hand, the speed on this racer was quite impressive, causing a lot of friction against each part of his body, his hands were the only thing keeping him aboard ship. A certain laughter caught his ears, it didn’t sound human to him and the life energy gave him the vibe it was something quite different, though, he couldn’t quite picture what.

Then a sound of a surging charge caught the man’s ears, as each eye of his widened since he knew what that meant…”THAT DAMN THING IS GOING TO FIRE WITH ME ON THIS…ARGH!” With no more hesitation, he didn’t care how ridiculous it looked, but he hooked his arms and legs around the long pole, seeing at the far end a beam was brewing. “Damn it….” His eyes slanted with annoyance, and it was even more salt to the wound hearing the demoness laughing, even if she was no longer on this field.

The fireballs from the fire Oni’s were being avoided by whomever was piloting like a careless maneuver and the fact his body has sustained a few bruises from grasping the pole and the momentum of this ships speed had caused him to have to paw and wrap around it with dear life with ever careless tactic in store watching as it neared the ground, “just a little bit closer…” he would utter soon he’d be freed from this. Good grief…

“Not again…” came from Autumn’s lips as the ground began to shake with much more intensity signaling something else was on the rise, as if they hadn’t enough to deal with, from the armies that already were in action. Seeing the fem fatale by her side prompted the question who she was, but it seemed another ally and the Inn could use all the helping hands it could get.

Autumn was about to work up the sense to ask who the female was but seemed to be distracted in that instance but had gripped Faye’s hand not wanting to lose balance and watched as she finished off an Earth Oni.

Spike’s response to her concerns with Suiteki seemed to bring a look of discouragement on Autumn’s porcelain features and couldn’t help but spare another glance where the missing tree had been, a hand going to the top of her collarbone due to respect, she didn’t know if the creature would be okay or not, but the thought of a friend being lost in this battle was heart wrenching to her, she didn’t do well with loss of any kind.

Taking not that she had been watched from the rugged man whom harbored a scar over his right eye had made Autumn slight subconscious of the one that rest in between her own eyes and cast her light green eyes on the masses of Oni’s that were dangerously closing in on all of them.

However Jet’s words had seemed to throw her for a loop at that notion and shook her head in a no-like gesture since she felt no more comment was needed in that instance before doing a slight bow of acknowledgement as Spike introduced her by name.

Guiding her attention back to the shotgun that Faye had directed her to made her chuckle, “as much as I’d like to say for my lady sake no, I can’t lie about my knowledge in firing weapons…kind of picked up this trade randomly…” Autumn would comment before hearing an Oni let out a growl that seemed to last minutes and her nose seemed to contort with a look of disgust.

“Oh, that is so disgusting…” commenting on the breath smell she had caught from that before bringing the shotgun up and planted a bullet between the monsters eyes, “get some dental floss…” Autumn’s lip curled up since that was rather unpleasant.

The Bebop looming about had taken some damage and Autumn wondered if it would be able to clear the area without being taken down in the process, but all this machinery was nice to see, it gave her hope that there could still be a defense here at this place, but seeing it finally take flight higher until it disappeared was a relief, since it sounded like a child was piloting the huge hull.

It was at that point curiosity drew Autumn back to the random man from the mech who seemed to be free falling from the sky and as the Swordfish II swept on by, it prevented him from crashing to his demise and potential splatter on the ground, a breath of relief escaped Autumn’s lips and as another Earth Oni treading upon the group of human’s Autumn lift the shotgun and didn’t really have time to aim the greatest, since it had stone in hand with Jet in its sights. A squeal left its body, having been nailed in the shoulder only infuriating the creature more.

“…no good…” Autumn commented as the click of the shotgun indicated she came upon the end of her round, sighing distraughtly, “I’m not cut out for this…” she’d bring the weapon down but kept it with her in case she found greater use for it, right now it would be all about brain work and meticulous planning hoping to outwit.

Nolan stood still and looked around with an intense look on his now green eyes. His fists were clenched as he seemed to be in a state of perpetual fury. Those lurkers were everywhere, along with the big ones. One of them must have been what slung him threw that window and cut him up so bad. He seen the flame lurkers launch their fireballs as Amano played with them.
This caused him to bring his hand up to his shoulder which was, along with his black, mostly charred skin. The nerve endings were either dead or screaming and he wished they were all just dead.
He bared his teeth and cracked his knuckles, preparing to get out there when a hand was placed on his shoulder. The necromancer whirled around and froze when he seen the Mistress staring into his eyes. Something about her was causing him to buzz inside. He couldn't quite make it out until a few seconds later. " noooolaaan." yes that was the name of this body.
Nolans eyes softened and went back to their blue state for a moment. Before he knew it, her lips were pressed against his and his eyes slid shut for a moment. Her kiss...like his...was so cold. So icy and wonderful. When it broke he gave her a slight smirk trying to show her he was in at least a right state of mind. " like venom..."
She told him not to come for her if she was to be captured but if he wasn't going to do that then he might as well not fight at all. In his head anyway. " alright" his soul rang out in her. It was a lie of course but she didn't need any more pressure at the moment. " we will talk about this when this is all over" he said optimistically and watched her go.

Whatever was possessing nolan couldn't be held back anymore and there was another flash of red as another wave of blood battery hit the field. HIs eyes went back to green and angry. and his lips once again into a snarl. The necromancer turned around just in time to see some form of....thing.....it was all he could make of it. 'land shark? even worse....sewer shark...Nobody fired any chum did they?'
Jokes aside he stared at it angrily and spread out his finger tips. What looked like dark lightning cackled around them. Nolan was really wanting to have a go at the oni and the lurkers but this thing would do for now. And behind that thing even more oni sprang up which annoyed him that much further.
"Enough of this!" he roared as large humanoid fleshy masses began to work their way out of the ground. Between them, smaller and more grotesque and abnormal skeletal creatures crawled out with them. Nothing about them seemed right. Heads where twisted. alot had extra limbs or their limbs in the wrong place. They all let out a loud eerie screech almost as if they were in constant pain.
And for the thing in the ground. Whatever the hell it was. he stuck his hand out in its direction and a black mass of dark energy shot out like a lightning bolt at it.

Meanwhile Amano was still playing with the flame lurkers. He was going to go check on the guy in the mech but this big oni smashed the lurker he was about to fight and was comming right at him.
" eeh s**t!" The cat jumped up onto its head and took its eyes out with the claws on his back legs. Then run down its back taking a bit of spine with him as he kicked off its rear and flipped around so he landed facing it. " oooh c'mon thats gotta be a fatality b***h!" he laughed. " Who else wants some!" the cat was all pumped up, though he wasn't even sure of the oni was dead or not. He hopped around in all direcions making huffing noises daring any of the creatures to come at him.

( what do you guys think. Not to flashy is it? It took forever to color. millions of stray pencil marks and all that. Isn't there a button in photoshop that cleans all that up for ya? oh and anybody else want a battle pic? i got the drawin' fever! have a rather badass one of autumn wielding heavy artillery in mind lol )

I will post for Isshu when Hanyo has edited, Zelic. Hanyo being so close to Isshu since the elder is directly beside Himiko at this point in time would make it too easy for her to strike to incapacitate. I would rather wait and give Hanyo some more time to read over posts to beef up her post with the stuff Jak laid out for us. Please be patient 3nodding She is a very busy girl like many of us.

PANIC

User Image

Panic, gave a bone-chilling laugh that all could hear on the battlefield, even over the sounds of battle. It was good to be free. He whirled around The Oracle like a whirlwind for a moment before darting to those immediately surrounding him, infecting their minds with chaos and disorder. It did so in no particular pattern, but seemed to very efficiently destroy their ability to think clearly. The spectre that personified Panic usually entered like a mist through the vicitim's eyes, nose or ears, and bounced to its next victim in only a few seconds. It whispered into the center of their minds, their very conscience, so to speak.

YOUR PLAN HAS FAILED.

YET YOU MUST ACT.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

DO SOMETHING.

ANYTHING.

Patient 001: Dr. Edward Aristide

User Image

Edward felt that he was immune to Panic's curse for a few reasons: For one, he had released him. Secondly, as a Chaos Mage, he doubted Panic could do much to his mind. And lastly, he was already panicking. Edward struggled to close the chest, and was making little progress. As far as he knew, if he closed the chest, it might stop Panic. He had to try though. He had to try something.

The Oracle stood before him. His expression deep curiosity.

"Are you just going to stand there?!" Edward scolded through gritted teeth.

The Oracle became very still and appeared to be struggling with something inside himself. His eyes shut tight, and he began muttering to himself, as if he was trying to convince himself of something.

"The universe is constantly expanding. In turn, the amount of chaos is ever-increasing."

"The amount of entropy in the universe is ever-increasing. One cannot reverse it."

"The amount of disorder in the universe is ever-increasing. One cannot reverse it."
