You have heard of a place where Sakura trees are in full bloom all year around and the air is fragrant with cherry blossoms dancing in the wind. A place near a village that has grown over time and yet stands the test of time remaining true to traditional Japanese roots. This place they call Blooming Lotus is a house nestled in a mountain top and it is said to be a sacred place. The village below named Banzai has an ever growing population both from within and from travelers moving in. The villagers would describe Blooming Lotus as a holy place run by a woman that remains forever young and her sister whose beauty rivals any princess.
The youthful owner of the house is none other than the Mistress herself and while she seems to never age her bones ache with years of hard work tending to the needs of the house and her family. Ryuu, her beauteous sister, has grown to be a very becoming woman and proved herself an ambitious caretaker. Blooming Lotus grounds are a breathtaking sight of colorful flowers and grass as the Sakura trees sway with everlasting life. It is time for Mistress to retire her mantle upon the mountain and pass down the glory of Blooming Lotus to Ryuu who is readily taking the helm.
In the time Ryuu has spent her youth at Blooming Lotus she found herself pregnant at the bands of a water god and gave birth to a sweet daughter named Yuuki. The child is bright, full of hope and wonder. While her family takes care of all her needs, she still needs close friends to go on adventures with and learn from.
Jonathan, a family friend, and his daughter Skylar are often seen around the Hitonomiyaki house. He is a scholar and warlock from an older time that spends most of his time now as an instructor for both his daughter and Ryuu's.
Invitations were sent out to the family's close friends for the harvest season and for Yuuki's recital during the Yule Ball in December (see events for dates). They hope to bring people together in the spirit of celebration and sharing of their wealth. Thank you for accepting their invitation.
