Weather
You know i give up on keeping up with the weather. its whatever it is outside. I may say some times in posts. The building
Welcome travelers. If you have stumbled this way you have gone off the beaten path. The trees thicken and an overgrown deteriorating path leads the way to a large building that appears to be falling apart. A tree at each corner of the building appears to be growing into the framework where it’s hard to tell where the building starts and the tree begins. Yet there is light coming from the windows. The smell of a fireplace burning inside. Life exists here. A stable was attached to the side of the building. a small glow coming from inside. it was ready for use by any beast needing to get out of the weather.
Walking up the stone steps to the large wooden doors. Faded by time. Each is engraved with a dragon. The doors so old they may just creak if they were moved. But make a sound they do not. The stone flooring continues through out the building, black slate slabs of rock smoothed and polished. From here it does appear the trees are part of the framework, their branches reaching overhead creating the rafters themselves. The lower halves manipulated by magic to create seating and tables out of the living wood. For those that had found themselves residents of the tavern would come to find it was sentient, often taking care of those that fell asleep in side its walls.
As the snowdrifts pile up outside the windows the door would remain free of snow. Inside the fires inside would stay blazing and keep the place nice and warm. an illusion of constant snow would fall from the ceiling coating some of the higher branches much like the trees outside.
The bar
To the right sits an ebony bar its black wood glistening in the firelight. Behind the bar a door placed mid center leading to a kitchen. On either side running its length sits two mirrors covering the wall with the shelves full of bottles of liquor. Stools, tables and chairs litter the floor near the bar.
The arena
In the center of the room stood four pillars. Each etched with a black dragon. In a different pose, and seemingly always changing. Between those four pillars was a hole. Three feet down and into a Fighting ring. The mat and walls softened by padding a shimmering barrier kept attacks in the ring but didn’t hinder the view of any fight that might be going on. Couches curled around two sides of the ring.
The lounge
Farther to the left was the fireplace with more soft chairs and couches. Ebony end tables and coffee tables were spread about here. The only section that had a rug to make the area a bit more cozy. A lounge of sorts. Closer to the front of the tavern was the sound of running water. A small waterfall cascading into a pool sunk into the floor for a bit of a Zen affect.
The Rooms
Several doors are placed all about the upper level of the taverns main room. each door leading to a bed room that doesn't appear to exist from the outside of the tavern. The reason being each door is a portal. should the tavern be destroyed. ((as it has been many times in the past)) The occupants of the rooms are safe. each room located in different places far away from the original building if not a different realm entirely. Each room furnished with a bed and bath room decorated in various styles. Should the tavern be destroyed the doors will not open until the tavern is rebuilt.
The Hotsprings
A door to the back of the tavern near the washrooms and closets led to a Hot springs, welcome to all guests of the tavern. The door also being a portal would lead to an entirely different place than the forest around the tavern itself. Several pools of water sat at different levels. Steam wafting up from the warm water curling about in a fine mist before disappearing. Water cascading down from pool to pool in a stepping waterfall. each pool ranged in different sizes and temperature. a wall of stone separated the springs from the surrounding wildlife while foren trees blew in the wind. As if to prove the hot springs were in a different place entirely. the door that led back to the tavern was placed in a large stone with no tavern in sight. there were seats by the door and in the pools themselves made of stone. towels would always be present for those that would need one.
The rest and Rafters.
Nearer to the back of the tavern were doors, closets, washrooms, a room or two. A staircase led to a second floor. All about the edge near the tree like rafters was a walkway. Wide enough for more tables, a hammock was set up hanging over the bar. Up here was darker. For those that prefer the dark. Giving a good view of the rest of the bar. Not to say the tavern was all dark. The room was accented in color. Vases of red and white everlasting flowers were placed about randomly. The couches themselves were either red or white. For lighting, candles hung off the walls and lights hung off the rafters covered by white paper lanterns. On the second level opposite the first set of stairs was another set of stairs leading up to the roof. a door had been placed up there for easy access for those that enjoyed high places.
The building was surrounded by trees, expanding into a forest that was home to various denizens demon and non demon alike. Trails wandered sporadically about the tavern. One such path would wander toward a large lake. Near the lake were three grave stones, each marked with a name, engraved with the likeness of the men who had fallen. Lokaia, Angel and Puppy. Friends of the taverns owner.

Lanya walked about the bar surveying her work. her high heels clicking on the stone floor. "Now all i need is some victims, i mean customers." she corrected as she clapped her hands together rubbing them together with a grin.
Lokaia lay on the bar counter, clearly not there a second ago but there we was. He never appeared, simply was and had the lingering feeling of that he always was. One would recall if he simply popped into existence, but he did not, e was simple there, on his back with his hands and arms folded behind his head as he looked up at the ceiling, lost in thought
Smirks seeing the man who had not been there previously. "well well Hello Lokaia darling." her heels clicked as she made her way behind the bar. dressed in elegant black robes. "whats your pick. to help your troubled mind.?"

"Ebony..." he says imply "I already stocked you with it, it's in the back"
Nods and moves into the back. she had stocked the place and knew where everything was, but still seems things like to appear. it would of course be right after the last item in there. reaching out she grabbed one of the bottles and brought it back to the front placing it by lokaia's head. "There you go darlin."
::A guy walks in and looks about the place as he steps up to the bar counter. His appearance is just as he looks. Torn shorts, sandles, a rag tag shirt with a hat. He glances around for anyone present before calling out.::
Hello? I'm looking for the owner. I'm the bartender you hired on? Chance is my name. I was wondering when I should start my job. I appreciate the opportunity. Hello?
::mutters to himself::
Well that was swift.
::He speaks up again::
Oh yeah and I brought my water gun incase someone gets out of line!
Lokaia reaches outto the side, not looking at the bottle or her, and takes it slowly. He pops the cork and sniffs the demon brew, its black steam sifting out into the air. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out his normal black zippo and holds it above his face, lighting it. He pours the liquid down into the flame. the fire spouts down in a stream like manner and he drinks of it as if it were the brew it had been before metamorphisized by the cackling flame. The bottle gone, he closes the lighter. this process ensured the enibriation of one as old as he even. He stumbles to set the bottle down and fell from the counter, landing on the bottle which broke under his weight.
All posts outside my direct conversations that involve me should have my name in bold or they will go unoticed. Available character information on Lokaia is on my profile, for questions PM don't post

"well i must say that was graceful." she said watching Lokaia fall off the counter. "Ugh and i know your heavy too. now to leave you there or move you..." She snapped her fingers and his body would lift off the ground and float over to the nearest couch.
