Marketplace Gaia Cash Transactions
What is this?
We are now allowing users to purchase items from the Marketplace for Gaia Cash. This means that certain items on the Marketplace may be eligible to be purchased with Gaia Cash instead of Gaia Gold.
Are all the items I’m selling going to be able to be bought for Gaia Cash?
No! When you decide to sell an item on the Marketplace, you can choose whether or not to allow the item to be purchased for Gaia Cash. If you do not allow it, then the only option available to users is gold.
Do I get the Gaia Cash?
You do not receive the Gaia Cash for the transaction, you receive the gold. By allowing an item you’re selling to be able to be purchased for Gaia Cash you are allowing a user to be able to more quickly obtain your item, which means you may get your gold quicker!
How do I make an item available for Gaia Cash?
When you sell an item on the Marketplace, simply select the “Gcash Purchasable” option when selecting your listing options.
How much Gaia Cash will items cost?
We’ll be setting up a Gaia Gold to Gaia Cash ratio. This ratio may occasionally change. When you look at an item, it will tell you the current ratio.
Can I bid with Gaia Cash?
We are not allowing users to bid with Gaia Cash, it will only apply to “Buy It Now” purchases.
Does the seller know I paid with Gcash?
Nope!
Does spending Gaia Cash in the Marketplace count towards my Tier Rewards?
Yes!
