I recently noticed that the overseer opens without any problems if I go straight to the aquarium and I do my daily chances last and the overseer first. I think doing the daily chances first interferes with the overseer granting rewards. Maybe if you do the daily chances first then the overseer is somehow getting that you already claimed your prize for that day. I have no idea, but it is working for me so couldn't hurt to try. The overseer opens for me but doesn't give me anything. 3 days in a row.

I've noticed that if I move the mouse at all when I'm clicking the overseer, it closes but doesn't give me a reward because it thinks I'm rearranging. So I just try to keep my mouse as still as possible and haven't any problems the last few times.

Try not feeding your fish for a while, It seems to make the Overseer reset itself.

Mine hasn't opened up at all today and I keep checking back often!

I already did my daily chances so I guess it's too late to try your theory.

I don't have an overseer what so ever. xD
It's pretty weird. It makes the noise like it's opening, but I have NO overseer. Can anyone help me with this?

I had already gotten an overseer gift today, but when I went to my tank a few minutes ago, and saw that I'm at 20%+ he opened again. <3

My Overseer has never opened for me. Does anyone know what I might possibly be doing wrong. It's too late for me to try this theory though, being that I already did my daily chance.

I do daily chance first every day and I've only had an issue once. :<

Aww....Im sorry hopefully it will be fixed soon...post in this thread for that problem: If Your Clam Does Not Appear
...this is a thread that the gaia staff started for that problem. I hope this helps and good luck! biggrin

Sometimes it might work if you go away from the aquarium completely, then go back, you may get a prize, or you might have to log out and log back in again. The second worked for me earlier. Also, keeping your fish happier helps lots as well. I know there are lots of threads that provide help on what fish like what lighting, temp, and music, etc. Hope this helps! heart

One of five of my overseers opened today...i think your daily chance idea may be onto something though. i was thinking along those lines too.
