For those whose Fish appeared to die .... ** UPDATE

right after you dropped them in the tank the first time.

This is a known issue and fortunately, your fish are not really dead. Once you come back to your aquarium, you'll see that your new fish is healthy and alive.

We're working on getting a fix out for this.

One other place to look is in your item arranger. There appears to be an issue where items are being placed in your storage. Check there as well.

I've noticed that if you give your "dead" fish to Barret and then take it right back again, it'll also be fine.

Many others have noticed that, most often with the cuttlefish. Chuck, so do you mean the dead appearance is appearance only, so it's just running the wrong image and behaviors?

What happens if you don't give them to Barrett?

I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this, but it is related to the topic as stated in the thread name....

I head from my brother that a lot of people were having issues and didn't think much of it because my aquarium was fine. But the last week or so I've been having some issues with fish disappearing; only one of them ever was shown again in my inventory - there were three that went missing. So before the one came back, I added a cuttlefish I got from a daily chance. The next day that disappeared to - but it went straight to my inventory. That 'next day' mind you was today. So I put both the one regained goldfish and the cuttlefish back into the tank, probably about twenty minutes ago and they both were in my inventory when I went back to put some more fish in, probably five minutes ago.

Do I just keep putting them back into the tank, or what..?

Okay, so a few days ago two of my goldfish died, and I put them in Barret's tank. Then today one of my other goldfish was acting strange, not giving any hearts to whutever I did to the tank, so I put him in Barret's tank(and then the other fish gave me hearts for that), and I put the first fish in Barret's tank(the dead one), back in my tank, and he was alive and kicking.

So... zombie fish?

I've had an issue that came up, and I'm not sure if it's related. I'm not the only one having it either.

My starfish vanished!!!

The night before he vanished, he was happily licking the aquarium wall, and his happiness was steadily increasing from the time I dropped him in the tank. I fed him well, played songs he likes, and there were many decorations for him to enjoy. The next morning, the fish is GONE. No trace. No cross-eyed lil fishie floating belly up or anything. (Not that I woulda wanted to see that, persay. The starfish are so cute, it would break my heart, that it would!)

Is there any known issues about vanishing fish? Please, let me know if you find anything out. If it isn't known, hopefully this is the just word enough.

I paid gaia cash for mine (ie. REAL world money), and I'm a bit annoyed that my money fish who was my fave fish in the tank just POOF, vanishes
