Honestly I think it's only a matter of time before someone figures out what they changed and adjusts to their changes. The glow timer probably isn't dead forever.

Due to the developer changing it himself so we can't use it, it may become illegal in the future to create and use another one.

As a mod was quoted saying, they cannot tell if you use a glow timer. And they are correct.

Correct. There's no way to differentiate those who get to a tank from the timer or from clicking it here in the forums. I'm not encouraging that people use the future adjustment though. razz

I didn't see that question, but to answer, no it's not that bad not having it. We went just fine without it. Still, I don't think it would have hurt for Gaia to have left it alone.

I can personally attest to this. I made 6.5m off of booty grab in a mere 25 days without ever using the glow timer. I found out about it quite recently and it's nifty. I dont see how gold flow would be decreased to anyone who grabs like I did during those days.

I would be doing that if I still had interest in keeping a tank.

Same.
I currently have a full tank plus have some fish in Barrett's tank.
The way things stand now, once all of those fish are "dead", that'll most likely be the end of trying to keep my tank full of high triggers unless things change for the better.
