Hello everyone, thank you so much for attending the Gaia Anniversary Ball~
Today had been such a terrific day for Gaia, a record breaking 9433 users were on-line at the same time and although some of the servers were struggling, most of the time pages were relatively responsive. Thank goodness for the new servers. sweatdrop
I don't suggest using the egosearch or search features for now, because the search engine is way too backlogged. It'll take a while for it to catch up in updates.
Aside from the technical stuff, hope everyone's having a good time. I'll be here to answer as many questions as I can before I fall asleep. wink
Okay, here's what I got from the first 10 pages:
> when is the ball over?
Tomorrow at 12pm
> can u only get 1 shirt?
Yup, one shirt per person
> will this new banner feature still be in place after the ball?
We're throwing around similar ideas for the regular forum areas. For the time being only Gambino's Mansion will have this feature.

> What new feature do you want to implement the most once you have the server's behaving? Also, what are your thoughts on the battle system?
The guild forum system is what I'm spending a lot of time planning. When it is done, every guild will have their own private forum that they can manage. It'll help with a lot of the forums being over-crowded.
The battle system is going to be rather complicated as it is being planned out, but the system is going to be easy to pick up and play.

Actually, admins get more restrictions than regular users, we can't sell our rares at the exchange so technically we get less gold than regular users can.

Yeah, but everyone should get one eventually.

The donation letters are working 99% of the time, still got a few errors here and there which I hope to fix in a few weeks.

We actually have a trainee right now, and I'm also working with a few contractors on new features. So hopefully in a month or two we'll start seeing new features again. ^_^

Absolutely. Hard work is part of what makes the job challanging.

The art arena receives more than 350 pictures a day. Even with our rotating staff members it's still a really big list of pictures to scan through and approve. All Gaia moderators take a good amount of time to avoid art thieft and filter out disqualified drawings.
> Are you gonna sell some of the clothes that the shopkeepers avvies are wearing?
Nope, the shop keeper's clothings will not be for sale. But...

Gaia had a full page ad on the first issue of the Street Fighter comic thanks to Udon Entertainment. Be sure to pick up issue 5 as Vo drew that issue!

For far too many reasons Gaia should not and cannot discose dollar amounts. Though the amount of donations we receive pretty much in relavance to how much and how fast we add new servers.

We don't like to raise any false expectations so we don't plan to release any information until we are 100% certain that any of the features will be available in the near future, though they will be announced pretty soon.
